I loved this dress and got so many compliments.  It also photographs really well.  I ordered an 8 and a 10 and went with the 10.  I am typically an 8, so order a size up! It was still a little tight in the arms and couldn't have been any shorter, or else I couldn't have worn it.  However, it looked absolutely stunning paired with bright coral accents.  I would love to wear it again!

It fit me tighter than how the model wears it. I believe it is meant to fit like a shift dress but I actually preferred the snugger fit. The 2 worked perfectly but if you are wanting it to fit like a shift dress I would go up one size.

Comfortable dress! Light material with white lining. The pattern is beautiful! The dress length hit a few inches above my knee. I wore the size 0 and it was formfitting but not tight. The mesh vents on the shoulders are clever. I highly recommend this dress. I wore it to a bridal shower with tan wedges.

I ordered a size 2 when I'm normally a size 4 and although it was pretty tight, it looked great with some spanx :)

Loved this rental!! It fit the atmosphere/theme of the wedding I attended perfectly. The sleeves are a bit tight compared to the fit of the rest of the dress, so I wore a size up from my usual- there isn't much stretch to the dress overall. It did ride up a bit when I raised my arms to dance, but not nearly as much as it could've due to the stretchy mesh material connecting the sleeves to the body of the dress.

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it for a Spring wedding and got so many compliments! Even in 80 degree heat I never broke a sweat. The material on this dress is light and it has a forgiving fit. I chose to wear the 2 so I could dance and eat with a little more room. This dress is great for petite girls, but I would think it would fit almost every body type! 

I wore this for a spring bridal shower, and got tons of compliments. In fact I had a friend ask to borrow it while I still had it on my body! (I obviously aimed her to RTR) I usually wear a 4/6. I wore the 6 and It gave me a little more wiggle room, but still laid nicely on my frame. The sleeves were a little snug on me, but I have big-ish arms. It wasn't ever uncomfortable. You can't see in pictures, but the dress has a very small sheer strip by the shoulder...it's a cute little detail that makes you stand out. The pattern is a beautiful blue! 

I rented this dress for Easter with the family, and I loved it. The print and colors were very pretty and perfect for spring. Comfortable fit, a little short but not scandalous. I dressed it down a bit with a thin belt, black tights and flat riding boots but it could be dressed up as well. Milly dresses are usually awesome, and this didn't disappoint. I would love to own!

Forgiving fit, but needs nude colored under-garments.  If I was headed out on a date with my husband, I might have opted for the size 2, but given the family photo session I used it for, a 4 was more appropriate.  

I wore this to a spring bridal shower. I felt it was true to size and flattering. This dress could be dressed up or down. I got many compliments. Would  definitely recommend! 

I'm short, so the length was great and the cotton material was perfect for a beach dinner date in the Caymans. Loved the pattern and fit. 

I wore this for my bridal shower which was held at a country club. It was a perfect dress for this occasion and was very "daytime" appropriate. I received a lot of compliments on the beautiful colors and pattern of the dress. It fit very well too. I am usually between a 0 and 2 so I ordered both sizes but didn't even try the 2 on. The 0 was fitted but the material has some stretch in it so it was comfortable. I have pretty long legs so the only small negative about this dress on me was that it become slightly too short while sitting down. Nothing that would prevent me from wearing it again but just something to keep in mind. 

Size 2 or size 4 fit, it is a pretty forgiving style.  I recently had a baby and the pattern was good for hiding my non-six-pack abs :)  Got tons of compliments.  You can't really tell from the picture but there is a little detailing on the shoulders -- the sleeves don't fully attach to the dress, they're attached by this little strip of white mesh.  It's cool and something I didn't notice until I got the dress in the mail.

Absolutely loved this dress. The linen-type fabric was relatively cool in the warm Texas wedding we attended, and despite not having a ton of stretch, it was still comfortable to sit and dance in. I fit snugly in the 2 but didn't have much room to move around (like I said, it's not stretchy) but the 4 was just roomy enough in the right places while still being sleek and flattering. The hem was more knee-length on me since I have a short torso, but I got a ton of compliments and wished I didn't have to send it back.

I wore this dress to a brunch the morning after a wedding and it was perfect. I loved it so much more than I thought I would from the online pictures. The pattern is beautiful and the fit is flattering, but subtle (nothing too tight). I felt like a million bucks in this dress and everyone was asking me about it. I was worried the 0 would be too tight through the hips, but it wasn't. I'm going to be renting this one again for sure!

I received a lot of complements on this dress!  The 2 fit very well and was comfortable to wear the whole day. 

Seriously such a cute dress! I ordered it in a 0 and it ended up being too damaged so RTR (such awesome customer service) still sent me my back up size (a 2) plus 2 other dresses! I went with a different dress, but the 2 in this one probably would have been fine. The fabric is breathable but a bit heavier. It is such a classic and flattering silhouette. I only didn't wear this one because I prefer a more fitted dress and this one was just a little loose in some areas! I can't wait to wear it in my size, hopefully soon!

Overall fit was true to size, the sleeves were fantastic and it was just generally a very comfortable dress.  Since it's so memorable (great pattern, color and style) it would be a tough one to own since people will definitely remember this dress.  I even received compliments from photos I posted!

The fit was great more fitted than I expected but in a flattering way. The sleeves were a nice touch connected by a sheer piece of fabric to the rest of the dress. Overall I loved this dress the print was really fun and could easily be dressed up or down. 

This dress is gorgeous and fits like a glove. The sleeves are slightly tighter than expected but it complimented my shape perfectly. Fits true to size. The pattern and fabric are beautiful and very versatile. I wore with a light pink statement necklace and gold sparkly flat sandals for a rehearsal dinner/wedding welcome reception at a beach winery. Highly recommended!!

The dress was perfect - not too short, and super cute! It was HOT in Atlanta and the wedding was outside, but the dress was very breathable and the fabric isn't heavy. I got so many compliments on this dress!

Actually wearing black underwear so the lining does it's job... Forget you nude or white bra no problem no one can tell.

I wore this dress for a baptism, and not only was it the perfect look for the occasion, but it was super comfy and just adorable! I love how you can easily wear this dress casually, or you can choose to dress it up. I received many compliments on this dress, my most favorite being that someone called it the "Kate Middleton silhouette," which I completely agreed with. Overall, this dress is super comfy, fits great, and great for wearing for any occasion, even to the office! 

Loved the print and design of the dress - classy and great for spring/summer. It can be a bit snug in the chest and shoulders, but overall a great dress for a spring/summer event when you are not in the sun the whole time. 

I was feeling a bit round that weekend, this dress fit tight in the right places and loose in the not so flattering areas.  I was pleased.  It was light but not to light for a March bridal shower.  The dress did seem a bit worn so it might be on its way out.  Other than that it was great!

I wore this dress for my college graduation ceremony and it was a hit! It looked great under my gown and was incredibly easy and comfortable to wear all day. The dress does get pretty wrinkled by the end of the day, but it was nothing "deal breaking" for me. I am 5'9 and as you can see in my picture, it's pretty short, so that was the only downside. I LOVED the exposed zipper and the air holes in the shoulder of the dress. This dress is also true to size; I ordered a 6 and an 8 and never tried the 8 on because the 6 fit so perfectly! Do yourself a favor and SAY YES TO THIS DRESS! 

I fit into both the 4 and the 6, but went with the 6 because it was more comfortable, especially around my shoulders. The dress was really stunning-- I loved it. It was a true statement dress (glad I rented it because I'm not sure I'd want to wear it again since it was so unforgettable!)

The netting on the arm holes is a little bit weird-- my boyfriend kept thinking they were rips.

Though I did think this dress ran a bit small, I loved it and felt very comfortable in it once I got used to the fit. I got many compliments on it and it definitely makes an impact while being classy and versatile. This dress also photographs incredibly well! 

RTR did not have 0 for me, so I took the two which was a little roomy in the waist area. I probably would have given the 0 five stars. The dress is very comfortable and you can dress up or down. Photographs beautifully. 

Runs a tad small. I normally wear a size 4, but the 4 was a bit tight on my chest (34dd) and a bit tight around my biceps. The 6 was looser and a more comfortable fit. The dress is also a tad short, so tall girls need to be careful (I'm 5'8"). Overall this dress was beautiful for a bridal shower. The light cotton material allows room to breath and the mesh accent around the shoulders is a cute touch. I would recommend this dress to anyone.

This dress was true to size and was able to accommodate my baby bump (one size up from my normal dress size). I don't consider myself as having broad shoulders but the arm/shoulder area was somewhat restricting when trying to raise my arms. Overall good fit though and would recommend this dress. 

Fit was great. I'm between a 6 and 8 and went with the 6 as the shoulders in the 8 were too wide on me. The print is gorgeous and lining works well, hiding undies and any body imperfections. Although, I was disappointed when I saw the dress as it had no shine to it whatsoever. The photo is very deceiving- this dress is cotton with no sheen and best worn for outdoor wedding, bridal shower, etc. not a nighttime event. I dressed it up with a necklace and earrings to make it work. I'd rent it again, but for something more casual. 

It does run slightly small. The 8 fit perfectly. Keep in mind - even though it is lined, it is sheer. You could see my nude undies through the dress. 

I wore this dress for a casual birthday dinner with my girl friends. I love that it was a no fuss dress and perfect for day or night. I liked the little mesh cutouts in the sleeves, which are hard to notice on the model picture. I felt the dress ran pretty true to size and had no problem with my usual size 4. I also felt it flattered my body well. I wish I could own this dress because its a good one for all sorts of occasions.  

I like the pattern, style, weight and feel of the dress. However, as a pear shaped girl, I wasn't totally in love with the fit. 

In most areas the dress fit well, but if you have bigger hips or a butt beware. Even if you're stomach is flat, the cut of the fabric causes it to bunch in your middle. I felt like it gave me a "pooch" in profile even though I don't have one. I also couldn't lift my arms up which made it a little awkward to reach up to my fiancé in the photos. Other than that cute, stylish, well made and good for a lot of different  occasions. 

Dress fit true to size. I wore it with black tights and booties and it was perfect for a baby shower on a very cold day. I'm quite short, 5'3" and the dress was a perfect length for me. BUT, if you're much taller, it may be too short. I liked the dress a lot, it's very versatile, the pattern is very pretty and photographs well, and the material has just a little give to make it comfortable. 

It's got these cool mesh slits around the armpits and shoulder. It was a little tight on me, however I opted for the four instead of the six. I felt the six was a bit too large and made me look it.  I was told by a house full of girls to wear the 4 instead of the six, and I have received numerous compliments since that I looked good. I still fill a little self-conscious about it. The need to suck in was present. I also had to stand up very straight. I do realize this isn't the most flattering picturing, but it was all I had.  I also weigh closer to 138, if that helps anyone!

I rented the 10 and 12. The 10 would've fit but the arms are tight so I went with the 12. Beautiful design and color! There is a sheer white connecting the sleeve which is a nice touch.

I wore this dress to my bridal shower in the winter time. I ordered another dress but it was available when it was ready to ship.  RTR does a great job however making sure you aren't left stranded so I was able to pick this dress and have it delivered in time for my shower.  The dress is cute but nothing too amazing. It is great for casual events. The material is a bit thin and runs a little short so be careful if you like things a bit longer. I do love that it had sleeves on it for a cooler day.  The dress was a little tight for a size 2 which is my normal size.  Definitely order the back-up one size bigger. Overall if you have a casual event to attend and are looking for a dress with sleeves this is worth a look.

I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner and LOVED it. It was very comfortable and I felt so beautiful in it. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat. 

Loved the dress, I just wish I knew what size I needed. It was a little tight on me, but it easily loosened for me. The colors were a little less bright than expected/wanted but it was ok.

Had a tough time with sleeves on size 4, so went with size 6 to have more room to move.  Wasn't in love with mesh pieces connecting sleeves to rest of dress.  RTR was fabulous per usual; dress showed up on time and returning was a breeze.  Would rent this dress again for the right occasion.

This is so pretty. I would size up one size from usual. The smaller size would have been tight in the arms for me. The 2 was perfect. I wore this to work and received tons of compliments. Could also be dressed up for a bridal/baby shower.

I wore this dress for my boyfriend's graduation and everyone loved it. The blues are so pretty and the material is soft. I was super comfy sitting in it for a few hours. I also loved how this dress has longer sleeves and is short but not too short. The proportions are perfect. It runs true to size. I had the hardest time sending it back. 

I ended up sizing up a bit because I thought that the size 4 just seemed a little stretched across my hips. It was an appropriate length and I didn't feel like it was riding up all the time, I apprecaited the sleeves for the cooler weather, as well. I didn't realize there are mesh cutouts at the shoulder seams which added a bit of edge to an overall lovely dress. I would absolutely rent again, my co-workers and clients loved it.

This ran a bit tight through the hips but I absolutely adored this dress for my engagement photos. Awesome price, totally recommend but size up for your backup size 

This dress is awesome! I am short so a lot of dresses are too long for me, but not this one! The shoulders are a tad tight, but it didn't bother me  to much. I loved the patterns and colors!

Perfect!  Got so many compliments on this dress, and was able to wear it during the day to a baby shower, then out later that night with different accessories.  Would 100% recommend.

This dress is a tad short, but no need to worry about anything.  This dress is so comfortable.  I would buy it if were an option, that's how much I love this dress.  I would recommend sizing up as I only felt a little snug in the shoulders.

I'm typically a size 2, and I was able to get the 2 on and zip it, but it was just too tight for the event. The 4 was a looser feel, and fit more like it does on the model. I got tons of compliments, and it was great for my friend's bridal shower at a nice restaurant.

As always, RTF didn't disappoint. I wore this dress to my SIL's baby shower. It was perfect to wear with flats or sandals to dress it down and I loved the exposed back zipper. I ended up wearing the 8 because the 6 was slightly tighter and I figured the loose version was more appropriate for a baby shower.

The fit was true to size, a little short if your event is conservative but perfect for a spring or summer shower or outdoor party. I received lots of compliments and was so comfortable all day!

Size 8 worked great for the office, less form fitting. Paired with black tights and black flats.

On both dresses, the waist and hips had enough room, but the chest and arms were tight. Not uncomfortable, but pretty snug. Received many compliments!

Rented size 4 & 6 based on reviews. The size 4 fit but was more faded than the 6 so I went with that. Definitely comfortable and a great dress, but both dresses were extremely faded. This dress is not as bright as the picture they show, is. I think this dress needs to be retired if all of the dresses are this faded and worn. Overall I wasn't displeased with the dress however for the price and event (wore to sister-in-laws baby shower) it worked just fine. Didn't LOVE but didn't hate either. 

Beautiful dress I wore to my bridal shower! Perfect color I was looking for. It was bridal looking without being "in your face" bridal...if that makes sense. I typically were a size 4 but this dress does run small so I was happy that I took advice from the other reviews and ordered my backup size in a 6! The only other downside was that for a tall girl like myself (5'9") it is a little on the short side but I'm used to that since I'm tall and nothing is ever the right length for me! 

This fit true to size. The 0 I couldn't get over my hips but the 2 fit perfect! This is for us short girls. Anyone over 5'5, I'd say it'd be way too short for. I felt comfortable since it was sort of loose in the midsection area but not too loose. I paired it with black booties only bc it was a rainy day. It would look great with nude toned shoes as well. The shoulder area has a mesh opening which adds some flare to an otherwise conservative dress. Would be perfect for a day time shower or a wedding (just would need to dress it up a bit with jewelry). I paired it with a silver pendant to stay simple but I could see this dress looking great with a pop of color as well. I would buy this one if I could!

I wore this for Easter Sunday for church. I really liked the blue colors on this dress & I got several compliments on it. I would have preferred to wear the size 4 since it was a better fit, but it was too short for church. :) I would rent this again. It was very comfortable & the fabric was super soft. As always, it was a very good RTR experience! 

The fit was perfect everywhere except in my arms. It wasn't so tight that it was uncomfortable, but having muscular arms definitely made it more snug. It was only an issue when I was having to pickup my child (stretching). The dress was very simple and did not make the impression I was hoping it to make. The colors of the dress look much prettier online than in person. Overall, this dress may be better suited for a more low-key event like Easter Sunday (church) or a brunch with friends.

I rented this for a friend's baby shower and it was a good dress, but nothing too special. The fabric wrinkled from sitting and the size 4 was faded which is why I ended up wearing the 6. It was a little short (I'm 5'10") but I made it work. 

Purchased this as part of the Vday 3for1 special and ended up wearing this for our wine tasting and Italian dinner date. At first, the skirt felt too tight at my hips (but the other 2 I got I didn't like as much) so I stuck through it -- and by the time we got to the wine tasting I totally forgot about my initial worry. While my thighs were still a little bit restricted, for a relaxed/casual date this wasn't an issue. The small "vents" around the arms definitely helped with movement. The length is a little shorter than I'd normally wear, but the classy pattern + the sleeves makes it still look/feel more conservative. Also, I've read in other reviews they think the dress is "faded" -- I did notice some of the pattern is lighter, but I think that is just part of the design and the blue doesn't pop as much as it may on the computer screen making a more "romantic" feel to it. If I were to rent again -- especially for an event like a wedding -- I'd probably order up a size for more movement.

I rented this dress for my birthday - had planned to wear it to work and out to dinner that evening.  Unfortunately #Blizzard2016 both delayed the arrival of the dress and cancelled all my birthday plans, so I did not get to wear it out.  I did try it on when it arrived: it's a fully lined cotton dress with mesh detail at the sleeve.  Dress was very comfortable, the waistline is a little bit higher than my natural waist, which gives room to conceal a less that flat tummy (and gives you the ability to eat and drink).  The sleeves are a bit constricting; I had minor difficulty zipping up the back of the dress, but nothing that would deter me from this dress.  The color/pattern has a muted/antique look, so it is not as vibrant as it appears in the photos.  I rented it with the Kate Spade Quarry Gems Necklace.

Overall this is a GREAT dress!  I could easily have worn it to work. It would also work for an outdoor (warmer weather) event or a wedding.  Hopefully I'll have an occasion to rent it again and actually wear it out of the house!

Beautiful fabric, nice lightweight dress (but not see-through). It straddles the line between casual and dressy, as well as conservative and fun, which is perfect. The high neck and mid-length sleeves make it appropriate despite being short and fitted. Worked well with tights and boots in the winter. Small mesh openings near the armpits show a little skin (very subtle) and allow the dress to breathe. It worked great! 

This dress was awesome. I wore it to my boyfriend's graduation garden party. Perfect mix of fun and conservative. I wore with booties. Loved it!

My first rental and I am hooked to Rent the Runway! I wore this dress for my sister's bridal shower. It did fit tighter than expected but was very flattering- I usually wear a 0 Petite at Banana Republic and Loft dresses. I loved the vents that separated the sleeves from the rest of the dress. I would think that this dress would be too short for anyone taller than 5'5 since it was just about right for me. The only negative thing was that the dress has certainly been rented a lot-- you could see some wear in the fabric of the mid section and on my way to the shower I noticed a faint body odor smell. 

I got this as a back up to a different dress, so wore it to church the next day. It was very cute, but not show stopping. This dress ran true to size. I probably could have gotten away with a 0, which is typical, but there is nothing worse than not being able to fit in a dress so I tend to over estimate. 

This dress was great. I wore the 10 because the arms were really tight on the 8. 

This was my first rtr dress and overall it was pretty successful. I was a little disappointed at first because both dresses seemed like they were maybe worn too much and the colors seems pretty faded. I'm usually 4-6 in dresses so I ordered both but decided on the 6 since the 4 was a little short and less comfortable. Overall the dress was cute and easy to dance in. Also the vents under the arms are life savers!

I wore this for a summer wedding on a boat (hence the sea bands). Fit great, a little tight in my chest/shoulders.  

Beautiful pattern & color, but I think it makes me look bigger in pictures. I liked it in person better. 

I wore both the size 2 and 4 of this dress! I wore the 4 which fit great! I wore it for my all day conference in CA! I received endless compliments and paired it with a blue blazer for most of the day! I switched into the 2 during the evening hours and did not need the blazer! It's a great dress from day to evening! I even won second place in a poker tournament! This dress is lucky for sure! 

I had seen this dress being worn at another wedding this past April and was in love.  It just so happened that my boyfriend was going to be the Best Man in a wedding, and the colors of his suit matched perfectly w/ this dress; it was fate!  It is cotton, although it looks like a different fabric in pictures.  The arms are a bit snug (and is why I gave it 4 stars), but not uncomfortably so.  Overall, the dress and my first experience using RTR was amazing!  I will definitely be a repeat customer.
