unflattering, shapeless
this may look nice on a tall, willowy gal, but on my hourglass curves it was horrible and shapeless. i took it off w/in 10 seconds of having it on

flattering on curves, nice bright color, stands out. 14 fit nicely with some room, 12 would have been more form fitting to the curves.

I wanted to love it....
I'm normally a 10 or a 12, this dress in a 12 was WAY too tight on me, I was barely able to get it over my hips and couldn't zip it up. YOu know when the interior lining is too tight and the exterior fits? that is how it fit me, but as the exterior layer is lace, it was very obvious the underskirt didn't fit. Unfortunate because it is a gorgeous dress. My best friend who is normally an 8 tried on the 10 and it fit her everywhere except the back. The lace was too big on her back/shoulders and there really isn't a good way to do a quick alteration, we considered using a few easy to remove stitches or fashion tape, but it was really obvious that we had tried to make it tighter. so overall - runs small.

Fabulous, slimming and forgiving dress!
As mentioned by many others, this dress has a lot of stretch, but not the kind that makes it at all loose, just enough so your curves look great and a smaller size may fit. I'm normally a 10 or 12 and wasn't able to get the 12 as a backup for this dress, however the 10 fit great. It was a little more hugging in the hips/upper legs that i normally like, however with the mermaid-ish skirt it balanced my somewhat substantial booty well. I first put it on and thought it was too tight, i like a more streamlined look to skirts, but my best friend said it looked amazing, and i got a ton of compliments from strangers, so she must be right!

Adorable and fun!
Super fun, flirty dress! the 10 fit, however the 12 was just a bit more comfortable. the dress itself is super comfortable with the exception that because of the length i couldn't sit down without my bare bum on the seat, so whenever i sat i had to sit on my dates coat. I got tons of compliments, the dress is super fun to dance in, and just the right length, on me it hit at that perfect part of the leg that makes your whole leg look super skinny, just below mid thigh, for you tall girls it may be too short, my inseam is only 30"! the little bit of skin showing is super sexy, not at all inappropriate.
