I loved this dress and received so many compliments! I'm 5'2" so it was perfect for me with the high/low hemline. I have a small chest but broader back and shoulders, so it was snug around the back but not uncomfortable. Not sure how it would work on a large bust though! I would definitely recommend this dress though, I felt like a princess!

The color on this dress was beautiful! The fabric was great too, stretchier than I thought it would be. The size I wanted, 2 petite, wasn't available so I ordered one size up, 4P, thinking a 0P would've been too small, and I really wanted to get this dress. Even though petite sizes are usually smaller all over, this was just way too big in the chest for me. It was gaping on top so much, yet it felt pretty comfortable through the waist and everywhere else. I am very small chested, but still I was shocked at how big the top was. I probably wouldn't have been able to hold up the 2P either! And a 0P would've been too tight everywhere else. It was also still pretty long on me for a petite length. I really wish it would've fit me because the dress was truly beautiful, but it just was not the right dress for my body.

I go to the Marine Corps Ball every year, and have been using RTR for the last few years and it's always been a great experience! Loved this gown, it was form fitting without being too tight or uncomfortable, I am small chested so I didn't even have to wear a bra with this, and I'm only 5'2" and the length was perfect with small heels! I'd definitely recommend it, especially for short people like me who have difficulty finding long gowns that you're not tripping over.

I have wanted to rent this dress for awhile. It looks so beautiful in the photos, and it is in person too. I am careful to read reviews and compare with people who are a similar height/weight/size as me. Everyone said this runs large, so I went with what I thought should be my size and one smaller. I'm 5'2" so I ordered a petite, as it says in the description petite is my height range. Both sizes were WAY too small. I don't know if the petite sizes are significantly smaller all over or what, but with my bust size, dresses usually fit me in a smaller size and these would never work. In fact they fit me almost identically even though they were marked as the separate sizes. I'm so disappointed and now I'm really nervous about ordering again because now I'm very unsure about what size to get in any style.

I rented this dress for the Marine Corps Ball. The event was the weekend after Hurricane Sandy slammed the East Coast, and I thought that might keep RTR from being able to get the shipments out, but it still arrived on time, which was very impressive, especially considering the company is based in NYC. I loved the idea that they would send 2 sizes, because my weight tends to fluctuate (especially after having a baby), so that gave me peace of mind that I'd be ale to wear one for sure. I loved the cut of this dress too, especially for my post-baby body. It hid my problem areas without looking like maternity wear or a muumuu. I couldn't figure out how to tie the ribbon to look like the picture, so I just tied it behind my back and it looked good that way too. My only problem with the dress was that I am 5'2", and even in my 4" heels it was a little too long, and I had to hold the skirt up while walking to keep from stepping on it. All in all, I am thrilled with my experience and will use RTR any time I have an event in the future.
