Nice turtleneck, fabric a bit too heavy
I loved the pattern and the fit. The fabric was too heavy - felt a bit rigid for a knit.

Enormous!
Could not wear - the L was gigantic. I would probably size down to a S to get something that I wasn't swimming in. And because the knit is quite chunk and stiff, too large was problematic: couldn't roll the cuffs, neckline was difficult to re-settle when it slid around, etc.

Super fabulous skirt
I am probably too old for this skirt but loved it anyway. It runs small - I ordinarily wear a 10, and this 12 was a tiny bit too small. Super cute anyway. Monse does such unusual things with fabric and perspective. Highly recommend!

Warm and flattering
This dress was great. I say it runs small because I rented the XL and would ordinarily wear a 10. The knit is heavy, so warm but not too warm as some fabrics are.

Gorgeous wool skirt
Love this skirt. Flattering cut, beautiful fabric. Great for winter because very warm! The color is definitely a cream with gray, so I could not wear it with the white and gray turtleneck I had rented at the same time.

I rented an 8 on the strength of other reviews (would ordinarily wear a 10) and the 8 was perfect. So definitely runs large. The fabric is more orange than it seemed in the photos. Very flattering drape.

I wish I could afford it
I loved loved loved this dress. The fabric is heavy jersey, very flowy. The dress has unusual gathers at the hips that are very flattering. Very covered up yet very sexy. I got a lot of compliments.

Comfortable yet super stylish
Wearing this dress was almost like wearing a tee-shirt, except that it was wholly professional-looking and flattering. The fabric is thick enough to cover up lumps and bumps. Highly recommend - would rent again.

Loved this dress. It's not super clear in the picture, but the ruching along the black trim is almost like a ruffle - on me, it seemed more prominent than in the pictures on RTR. Very flattering - indeed, sexy.

I really enjoyed wearing this skirt - the fabric is gorgeous to look at and feels great, and the way the skirt is cut you get a lot of swish around the knees but no bulk around the waist. Highly recommend, would rent again.

I have a funky Japanese skirt that needs a cropped jacket. I rented this to wear with and it was perfect, so I bought it. High-quality fabric, well made. Runs large, I would say, because I tried the 10 (my usual size) and had to size down to the 8.

Stunning dress but very constricting
The print and the muslin ruffles at the hem are amazing. The dress itself is quite constricting - I have rented a lot of Marni clothes and usually wear a 44 or a 46; here the 46 was wearable but I could barely sit down. Didn't matter because I was giving lectures and standing up, but I wouldn't have been able to wear this for a different day of work.

Stunning fabric, beautiful movement
The fabric of this skirt is unbelievably beautiful. The cut is very simple, almost a circle skirt so that it swishes around your calves. The 12 was almost too small, and I usually wear a 10, so I say it runs small. Loved it - got lots of compliments.

Loved everything about this dress except the slits near the hem - there are two, one for each leg, and when sitting down the dress became a bit racy - I had to wrap the back of the skirt up over my legs to keep it modest. Loved the fabric and the print and the color.

Armholes cut so weird I couldn't wear it
Very pretty top, very stylish. But the cut across the shoulders and arms was so weird, I couldn't wear it. On the one hand, too big across the shoulders. On the other hand, armholes cut so narrow or placed so oddly that I couldn't lift my arms much above shoulder level. Very uncomfortable.

Gorgeous dress, fantastic print
The print seems very old-lady until you look closer at the hem and you see there are PANTHERS! Very flattering cut. There is a keyhole at the neckline that came a little low to be appropriate for my office, but I just wore a cami underneath (it would be sexy if you were wearing to cocktails).

Wasn't sure what size to rent because Derek Lam's size chart online is in US sizes, but this dress is in European sizes. I guessed at a 44, but it was too small, which makes me think this is Italian sizing? I ordinarily wear a 10 (waist 30, hips 39). It wasn't crazy too small - I probably could have worn it out of the house, but I wouldn't have been comfortable. I really liked the style otherwise - will order up and try again.

So big I couldn't wear it, but super cute
I looked like a toddler trying on her 6-year-old sister's clothes. It's not clear to me what size I got - my order history says I got a 12, but Vilshenko is UK sizing, and a UK12 is a US8. If that's what I got, truly ridiculously oversized. If I got a US 12, still far too big. I have ordered down a couple of sizes and will try again, because otherwise I love the print and the style.

Gorgeous dress, color is darker than in picture
In the picture the fabric looks like a dark ivory with black stripes; in person, the fabric was more like a taupe with black stripes. Nevertheless gorgeous and flattering. I say it runs large - I rented a 12 based on Beaufille's online size chart, would ordinarily wear a 10, and I am pretty sure I would really need an 8 in this dress. Loved it!
