Good color, but I expected more comfort
Shorter than expected. Hotter and tighter than expected. The color was expected though.

This almost reached the top of my high-waisted jeans
I actually liked this sweater, and I'm sure it's long enough for the normal-preportioned ladies. However, if you (like me) have been blessed with one of those "every dress is empire waist" torsos, understand that this will show tummy.

Shoulder pads? In this economy?
Perhaps they wouldn't be so noticeable on someone more .. petite. But I already have some muscular shoulders, so I came downstairs and my husband asked if I was "going to a boomer convention" which I thought was uncalled for, but maybe a teensy bit accurate. If I owned the blazer, I would've cut the shoulder pads out, but I don't think they want you to mutilate the rentals.

Really full coverage: I would have felt comfortable in a very conservative church. However, there's a bit of a slit, so if you're going to wear tights and a slip, just know that everyone will see that slip when there is a breeze.
