The dress is quite heavy! The thick material is great for shaping your curves but felt heavy on. I have recently lost some inches but I chose to rent the size my pre-loss size and a size up. BOTH were too small to the point that I could not comfortably zip or sit down. I am short and the size 18 looked very long instead of "midi". The chest area had plenty of room (too much) but the waist was uncomfortable and tight. This dress is not really for dancing around because it does not stretch.

The dress arrived unwrapped so it took me a second to figure out how to put it on. When I figured it out I realized I couldn't even put it on my shoulders! Imagine putting on a coat that's too small and if you move too quickly it'll split across the back...that is this dress. Even two sizes up wouldn't have helped. Too small.

I wore this dress to a gala to support a friend's choir group. I ordered a 16 and it fit but the 18 was more comfortable for moving around so I went with the 18. I am typically between a 16-18 regularly so this was acceptable to me. Very cute dress and I felt great and confident wearing it!

Very flattering top! Just the right length and size for me. It was comfortable and cute for work. My only complaint was that it was pretty wrinkled by the time it got to me. I understand wrinkling in the process of shipping but it was almost like it had been folded in a drawer for a while or something.

I'm 5'2" and this dress hit me in just the right spots. I know sometimes on us short ladies, even the larger petite sizes can be too long - but this dress was just right hitting about mid-thigh. It was not itchy from the sequins and it was comfortable for moving, sitting, and dancing! It comfortably hid my trouble spots as it wasn't too tight, but it was not so baggy that it looked frumpy. I paired with short, black suede heels and a black&white cross body. It really was the perfect dress! Honestly, I'll probably rent this same one again if an occasion calls for it :)
