Sooo short it didn't even cover my bum!! Not sure how anyone could wear this as a dress. Picture shown with jeans for reference.

Both the size 2 and 4 fit me fine, but I was self conscious of the length so I wore the 4. It's not like me to wear super short dresses, but if you are used to it then length on this dress won't phase you. I got lots of compliments, and really enjoyed this dress as my very first rental!

I ordered this dress for NYE and was so excited about it. I read other reviews saying the dress is short, but the size up was all sold out for the dates I needed so I decided to chance it. While this dress is really cute, it fit everywhere except for length -- it was like a tunic on me. I tried it with tights and was nervous about it riding up so I decided to try it as a top under a leather skirt and it was awesome! I got compliments on it all night. I would definitely recommend this dress if you are comfortable in super short dresses/can size up or if you don't mind wearing it as a top with leggings or a skirt.

I really loved this dress! It was a show stopper and I got many compliments! It really is a short dress; I'm only 5'4'' and it was legs for days for me. The sequins didn't bother or itch me anywhere. Perfect for a fun party!

Obviously, this is a short dress but when this dress first arrived it was SO. INCREDIBLY. SHORT. I thought "what size 14 woman is short enough to be comfortable in this," BUT turns out it had just sort of bunched together during the dry cleaning/shipping process. The fabric is very "stretchy" for lack of a better word so i was able to gently pull on the hemline to bring it down then left it hanging up for the next 36 hours and the length was normal enough. (You can see the difference in the length from the night I received it to the night I wore it.) There are a few snags in the fabric here and there but very minor and i assume that's just what happens to sequins after so much wear. The only other small issue I had was the sleeves - the sleeves kind of stayed flipped up all evening and would show the lining of the dress (you can see it in the pics). Again, very insignificant in the grand scheme but i just like to be thorough in my reviews. Overall, I really did love this dress! It's a very loose fitting dress so I felt comfortable from all angles and in all positions. I felt fabulous and stunning the whole night and received compliments non-stop.  Another RTR hit that I wish I owned!!

I am 5'4, typically a size 4, and this fit great and was a perfect length! I loved the sparkles!  Just note there is no zipper, and most go on over your head, and the sequins could get stuck in your hair. 

I ordered this for my school's semi formal dance... I'm usually a 4/6. But the size 6 I think was a either a petite size or a messed up somehow. The 6 couldn't even be worn as a shirt it was that shirt. Luckily the 4 was a perfect fit! It stood out and could be dressed up or down. One last think to note is the sequins did get caught in my hair ... so beware of that ! 

The smaller size (8) actually fit better, but it looked more like a sparkly top. I had to run to Nordstrom at the last minute to get liquid leggings to wear underneath. Looking back at other photos, I'm confused because girls much taller than I appeared to have a lengthier dress. 

This dress is flattering and comfortable. It is a little short. 

I got compliments on my dress all evening! I really loved how comfortable it was. It fit kind of loose, but was a little short. I kept pulling it down all evening but that is the only con. I recommend this dress & RTR! 

I ordered this dress in a size larger then I usually wear since I am 5 months pregnant with my second child. I ordered a size larger as a backup but the 6 fit great! It's definitely a little short (I'm 5'4) so I wore black tights underneath to keep it a little more conservative since it was a semi-formal dinner for my husbands work. The dress hugged my bump but was very comfortable and not tight at all! Really loved my first RTR experience!

Great fit, very comfortable to wear (wore it for 10 hours). Received many compliments, would rent again. Easy to move in; did a lot of dancing and walking. Length was just above the knee (I am 5' 1").  Hid  a "bloated" belly and was still comfortable.

This dress was really short, but with dark black tights it wasn't as noticeable. It was such a fun New Year's Eve dress for NYC!

Loved this dress! It was really cute and comfortable. I'm very busty and this dress worked perfectly for me. The only negative was that the slip underneath hung out and looked weird. I just used some double sided tape to hide it and had no issue. Would definitely rent this dress again!

I really loved this dress. I was a plus one at a high school reunion and it was the perfect choice. It was great with the weather.  Hot Florida heat and I was so happy with the length and comfort. It was shorter than dresses I normally wear but now I'm sold on this style. Highly recommended dress!

I really love how this dress photographed and would definitely rent again if it wasn't for the lack of back or side zipper which made the sequins scratch my face and get stuck all in my hair while getting in and out. As others have mentioned the bottom black slip was a little longer than the dress itself which kept me pulling the dress down the entire night to cover it. Overall a really pretty dress regardless, looks a little more blue in person. Go for the larger size! A little stretch but not forgiving. 

This was a great dress and perfect for the event. It was comfortable and easy to move in. The sparkles didn't rub against my arms and irritate it like some dresses do. The downside was that the slip showed about 2 in all the way around. Sometimes it would disappear but it mostly showed. It bothered me but my friends said it didn't look too bad. It was pretty short. I loved wearing it though and it was great to dance in!

This dress was perfect for my friends bachelorette party in hollywood.  Some reviews said the sequins were itchy, but i didn't think so.   I could have worn one size down, but it was pretty short.  It was really comfortable, and loose fitting.  

I am going with another dress for my birthday, but I wore this for my post party brunch. People were looking at me like I was crazy as I was walking on the street on Sunday morning in the sparkly dress… But I thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and the looks that I was getting! The only downside to the stress is it definitely doesn't give you any shape, so you'll need to jazz it up with some accessories. I chose a great leather jacket, dark tights, cute booties, and finished it off with a great cross body bag.

I wish I could keep this forever! By far one of my best purchases! The color, all over sparkle and fit were spot on!!

This is the second time I've rented this dress.  This one was  little worn; I had to snip several threads from the hem and the sleeves.  Also, the under-layer does hang about an inch below the over-layer.  Because of the overall sparkle, it required very little in the way of accessorizing and it looks great in person and in photos.  This is a low-maintenance dress, and very comfortable.

I rented this dress for the big night out during my bachelorette weekend in Austin. I was the perfect dress for the occasion since I didn't want to wear a white dress but still wanted to stand out a bit from my bridesmaids. The length was just short enough but not too short to wear I felt like anything was hanging out. I usually feel like sleeves are tight on me but these had just the right amount of space. It also wasn't itchy under the arms like I was expecting. I will say there were quite a few strings hanging off the dress where sequins had gotten stuck on things but since I was wearing this out in the dark it didn't bother me. At one point in the night I had someone come up to me on 6th street complimenting the dress! I felt great wearing this and would totally rent it again for the right occasion!

I wore this dress to my bf's office holiday party. It was modest enough to be comfortable but the sequence and the fact it is relatively short made it young and fun. I am probably between an 6 and a 8 and went for the 8 since I didn't want it to be too short, and I loved the length. I had no issues with the slip coming out at the bottom. My arms are also a little larger for my size and the 8 fit really well in the arms. 

I agree with many of the reviews that the dress was a bit short. But overall, it was a fun and comfortable dress and I received a lot of compliments!

True to description, dress was loose around waist. Easy to slip into! Dress is short, I wore leggings with the dress. The material is sheer, so I felt better about having something on underneath. My first Rent the Runway experience, most definitely not my last!

I really liked this dress - it was perfect for an NYE dinner. Sparkly/shiny but not over the top. Fit very comfortable around my curves and I felt relaxed in it while eating/drinking/dancing. The length on the size 2 was perfect even for my height (4'11 - usually dresses are a little too long). My only complaint is that the dress is starting to wear from use, you can tell with some of the sequins becoming loose/strings hanging out of the dress, and it will EASILY snag on loose jewelry so watch out! All in all, it was a great value and worked out well for me.

This dress was perfect for a New Years Eve party. It was the perfect length and moved well with me throughout the night. The only thing to note is that there is not a zipper, so be careful doing your hair before putting it on. 

I wore this out for NYE, I am usually a 4 but wore a 2, they were very similar in size. I liked it bc it wasn't too tight around my midsection. Also it was short enough for me which is big bc I am 5 ft tall. 

This was my first rtr experience and it turned out great! The dress was a little big but it was comfortable and I got lost of compliments! 

This dress was great. Unlike most sequined dressed- it was not itchy or scratchy against my skin. I wore this with tights and booties. Would have been great with a nice bib necklace - but mine broke the morning of the event. This dress was simple and comfortable yet classy. 

I rented the 10 and the 12 and saw virtually no difference between the two. The 10 seemed to be a little bit longer so I went with the ten. There was a little sign of wear - lose strings and the lining kept slipping out and showing but I was able to fix that with a lot of double sided tape. 

I had ordered the 8 and 12 (10 was not available). I felt a little more covered in the thoughts in the 12 but it wasn't baggy.  I wore it with tights and over the knee boots which made it even easier to be comfortable without exposing myself :)

Only issue was slip underneath was showing a bit. Otherwise, it was very flattering. 

Wore this dress to a work event which was required cocktail  attire for our gala. The dress was less like a shift dress, running more form fitting that I anticipated. If you want a loose fit I would definitely order a size up. It was a bit frayed in places, not the best shape of RTR dresses. I did receive a lot of compliments, all in all a fun dress for an event. 

It was a wonderful dress for a fall wedding. It was just the right length to be appropriate for a formal wedding and the short sleeves made it warm enough for fall. 

I'm 5'2" and this dress hit me in just the right spots. I know sometimes on us short ladies, even the larger petite sizes can be too long - but this dress was just right hitting about mid-thigh. It was not itchy from the sequins and it was comfortable for moving, sitting, and dancing! It comfortably hid my trouble spots as it wasn't too tight, but it was not so baggy that it looked frumpy.  I paired with short, black suede heels and a black&white cross body. It really was the perfect dress! Honestly, I'll probably rent this same one again if an occasion calls for it :) 

Love this dress!  Perfect for to wear as a wedding guest.  Just the right amount of sparkles.  It fit my petite figure perfectly.  I'd rent it again for sure!  

I ordered a size 10 and 12. I first tried on the 12 and thought I could probably size down to the 10. However, the 10 was significantly larger than the 12, perhaps due to wear, stretching, etc. It fit like a sack, so I went with the 12. It was very easy to wear: regular bra (and flattering for size D), not too fitted so no body-skimming undergarments were needed, the sequins weren't irritating at all, and it was just the right length. Nude heels worked well with it (at least before changing into flats later in the evening). I got many compliments on this dress and I felt really great in it.
