Sparkly but relaxed
This was perfect for a house party and I could see wearing it to a range of casual social occasions on the weekend. Fit and cut were fine, the neckline is elegant but the body is fairly boxy and mid-length.

Slightly retro & elegant earrings
I didn't get to wear these because I ended up with a different dress that wouldn't match them-- but I would rent them again another time! They are fairly large (2" long by perhaps 1" wide) but not too crazy. I liked that they were playful and added brightness without being loud.

Perfect cut & fabric-- felt great in this dress!
This is the ultimate fit-and-flare: snug but stretchy in the bodice with a beautiful full skirt. This is an incredibly well-constructed dress. I loved both the back and the front, and got lots of compliments on it at my MA graduation. It was of course longer on me (at 5'2") than on the model, but it didn't swallow me up. One of my all-time favorites from RTR!

Very pretty but runs large!
This was the only dress I've rented (out of 10-12 rentals) where neither the size I ordered nor the backup size fit. I am petite and small-chested and the dress was very baggy in the upper body as well as much too long-- 6 inches below my knee. Besides being unflattering, it wasn't possible to walk up stairs with the hem so low. For a different body type I would absolutely recommend this dress but not for anyone short or small up top.

Unique and playful outfit for a daytime event
I got lots of compliments on this romper, which I wore for a casual day-after wedding barbecue. For petite ladies like me, it's a little longer than it should be, but when I wore shoes with a little heel (not pictured!) the proportions still looked good. The front is low-cut but stayed in place well. Very cute!

Perfect fit, lovely details!
I absolutely love the cap sleeves and low, square back on this dress-- it's very original while still delicate and subtle. I had no trouble, personally, with the sleeves slipping off or the back gapping, and I danced the swing in it happily! I will definitely be renting this again. (I was on the fence about buying a NuBra for this occasion-- some people may prefer to do that, as the color is light and it's not a super thick material. I felt fine in the end without one, though.)

I felt like a million bucks!
This dress walks the perfect line between sexy and very elegant. I wore it with mod, mustard yellow pumps to an art opening I was co-hosting and got so many compliments. The stretchy fabric makes it easy to move around but it really does fit like a glove. Would love to own this dress!

Sophisticated but playful necklace for a dressy night out
This necklace has a nice weight to it and I loved the two tones; the blue is pretty deep (more indigo than royal blue) and is set off by the very brassy gold and the white stones. It would be a neat for a retro look but worked equally well with the classic Zac Posen A-line dress I rented. Highly recommended as a statement piece! And not too bulky for small necks/small frames.

Impeccable fit!
This dress could not be better designed. The structure created a corset-like fit that I loved; it really accentuates the waist but hits high enough that there is no uncomfortable pressure at the stomach when you sit down. The cups and ribcage area fit snugly so you don't need a bra. The skirt has great swing to it but the fabric is heavy so as not to fly up. The color is very dark but the velvety sheen softens it. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat-- or better yet, save up to buy it eventually! It is so versatile and flattering!

Distinctive and festive dress for my outdoor rehearsal dinner
I loved how playful and elegant this dress was. It is cut very straight up and down, so it lays more like a shift dress than it appears on the model (unless perhaps you have a fuller hourglass figure than mine). The scoop neck is lovely and the whole feel of the dress is relaxed; I felt great wearing it with strappy wedges for my backyard wedding rehearsal dinner!

The color is divine, and the lace work so unique.
I wore this dress for my bridal shower, on an (unseasonably) hot and humid June day. I got so many compliments on it, and I loved how bohemian but elegant it was. However, I would warn anyone wearing it to an outdoor and/or summer affair that the polyester lining is not breathable, and will stick to you in the heat. I also found the cap sleeves a bit tight, despite the rest of the dress fitting perfectly; if you have any upper body muscle or less-than-sticklike arms, I would definitely order your backup in a size up. I did not order a backup size this time and was fine in the 2, but for the sake of comfort and coolness on this particular day, I might have preferred the looser size 4. Overall, a gorgeous dress and great for a range of occasions, including daytime ones!

It was an ideal winter party dress, unfussy but definitely festive.
I'm petite (5'2") and narrow, so this dress was not especially short on me (as other reviewers had warned), and the top was blouse-y as opposed to fitted. However, the sleeves fit as they should (not too loose) and I was glad that I could sit down without the hem inching precariously up. The neckline is very flattering, and as long as you order a size down, I think you'll be pleased with this dress. It's comfortable, party-worthy, and sexy in a subtle way.

This dress is a perfect blend of festive, feminine, and refined.
I loved that this dress was light and comfortable, almost sundress-y, but very sophisticated. The color is more off-white or vintage white than the photo might suggest; I liked that because it avoids the flashy white-and-gold look, but just be aware if you're trying to match a handbag or shoes to the dress. It's also quite fitted from the waist up-- I wouldn't recommend it for busty girls, since there's no give. I got lots of compliments on this dress at the Christmas party I wore it to-- I highly recommend it for a festive occasion!
