Lots of compliments
If I didn’t have a couple things I need specifically I would hang onto this top. I’m sure I’ll order it again. It’s very versatile- I dressed it up a bit but it could easily be worn with a pair of high waist denim (white?) and fun jewelry. I got lots of compliments all day both in the office and on the street!

Memorable but understated
This was my backup dress and ended up being perfect for my fundraiser event. I received lots of compliments and loved everything about it! The dress itself was soft and very movable - stretchy but didn't stretch out (also doesn't hold you in) for climbing up and down stage stairs, dancing and sitting through dinner. I wore a spanx slip instead of the slip dress that came with it - kept things in place much better and didn't move around like the slip dress did when I was wandering around my house while trying it on. Bonus - limited jewelry needed! I always forget to take pictures. But it was about midi-length on my 5'10" frame.

Better than expected
With the review warnings, I fully anticipated the UK sizing so I sized way up and call it true to size for their scales. I generally wear a 10L in most RTR dresses. Major disappointment came with the length. I'm 5'10", so I ordered the long and it still just barely skimmed my ankle bones. Major bummer. I LOVED the this dress and was so sad that I couldn't wear it (happy I had ordered a different dress as my backup). The plunge is there, but not frighteningly so. As a friend said when I was contemplating this dress, I'm on the board and committee for a fundraiser - the point is to make a splash and be noticed. I definitely would have been noticed, but not in a tacky way. I do have a 36DD bust and may have needed double sided tape for slouchy moments or during dinner, but it fit well enough that I could have gotten away without it if I wanted to be daring. ;) Gorgeous dress and great fit, other than the length.

Prettier than expected
I rented this to go with a dress I ended up not wearing. It was lovely and delicate but still made a statement - I was sad I couldn't wear it or the dress.

Loved the fit and feel!
This coat is perfect for our mild Utah winter but I don't know that it would have stood up to a typical cold winter. The large fit perfect - sleeves were even long enough for my monkey arms! There wasn't a huge bunch of fabric around my waist. I contemplated buying this coat, but realized that I was wearing thin layers underneath-anything more and I wouldn't have been able to move. I do have long arms and wide shoulders. I seriously loved this coat and may come back to it again. Super soft and the leather details are just right.

Subtle elegance
I may rent this again sometime! That's how much I liked it. Maybe it was because of all the compliments I received but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I thought it was going to be more low-keyish but it's a sleeper! It was a little blah when I put it on so I added a belt for some sparkle. There were several photographers at the event and they each took several photos (although I forgot to get one myself other than the poor mirror shot I sent to a friend). A few notes that aren't a con but just be aware....this lovely is not intended to be floor length. It hits right at the top of your shoes and felt short for a minute but it's just perfect. It does not have even a walking slit. So it's not for dancing, big strides or getting into tall vehicles! I am 5'10" and wore a kitten heel. The fabric is as lovely as all my previous RTR dresses have been, but you literally wriggle yourself in and out with no zipper. Not hard but a little difficult. (Read: do your hair & makeup after it's on!) I did order the 48L as my backup but the 46L fit much nicer. I am a 36DD and have no hips or butt. This dress is simply lovely.

Disappointing experience
The day before my event I received notification that the dress I reserved more than six weeks prior was not available to ship. I was told I could choose a dress for up to double the original dress cost. Down side was, nothing was available in my size. A stylist finally found this one and confirmed that my original backup was still available. Later received notification that the backup was not available either. This dress is nice, but did not fit me well - it's not great for large busts. I am a 36DD and spent most of the night with my wrap on because the top did not stay up, making me very exposed. As other reviewers have stated, you cannot raise your arms - at all. Was difficult just reaching for my drink on the dinner table. It also has sheer/opaque panels down both sides of the dress. They aren't super obvious, but enough that it added to my self-consciousness. The fabric was comfortable and would probably be very flattering on the right body type. I refused to let anyone take pictures of me in this dress. Kind of ruined what was supposed to be a spectacular night. Pretty disappointed in this RTR experience. Hoping the next one is better.

The go-to-girls are fabulous!!
This was my emergency backup. I had a brief moment of panic when the shipping changed for delivery for my original dress (same dress in red) to be the night of my event rather than the day before. One call and they had this over-nighted to me. I was so thrilled when all four dresses showed up in time. Didn't even open the black back-ups! This was my first time using RTR and I'm looking forward to my next event. (see my full review under the red version, but I loved this dress!!!)

Love! Love! Love! My boyfriend wouldn't stop gushing!
I ordered the 10L and the 8L as a backup after reading the reviews. The dress has a little weight to it and the 10 was just big enough I knew it would be hard to keep up without constant tugging, so I went with the 8. This dress is super comfy and flattering all over. I had compliments all night and my BF is still telling people about it and gushing two days later. Definitely that "Pretty Woman" effect! And the go-to-girls are fabulous!! I had a moment of panic when the shipping changed for delivery to be the night of my event rather than the day before. One call and they had a new one (same dress in black) overnighted. I was so thrilled when all four dresses showed up in time. Didn't even open the black back-ups!
