Too small
If you have hips, this is not your pair of pants. These were incredibly small.

Hmmm...Not great at all.
I sized "down". I'm usually a Med/Large and went with a Med. I was less than impressed. HUGE waist, and not much hip room. I wore them to bed and for cleaning around the house. They kept falling down while I was cleaning. Could never have worn them to work like I wanted to.

I should have listened to the other reviews...
Sooooo small in waist and hips. This would have been a great sweater to dress up or down if it wasn't so small. Shoulder and chest were alright but the asymmetrical hem and lack of width in the hip and waist make it so it doesn't hang down, it just rides up. Size up if you can.

It ALMOST worked.
It was a tad small...not much room to breathe. Both chest and waist were a tad small for me. I could have made it work, but didn't need to, I had another dress for a back-up. It was cute. Just not great.

I really wanted this to work. Not sure if it comes in other sizes but I am willing to bet it will be perfect in the next size up. I need more space in the hip/butt area. It's a fun dress and nice take on another LBD. I'll try in another size for sure!

Love Love Love this jacket! Fit great! (I have short arms, so the jacket was a tad long, but that's normal for me). It fit great but I'd be curious how the next size down would do. I love it! Wish I could afford to buy it. I will be renting again! And trying other Veronica Beard jackets! Perfect fall jacket to dress up and down!

SO PRETTY!
Beautiful dress...ended up wearing something else but it was a VERY VERY close call to go with this one. It is super flattering. The only negative is how long it is. Why designers think petite means just little all over is beyond me. You can be short and average sized...lol. A 10P would have been perfect for me.

I loved this dress! Would rent again! Wish I could buy it!!!
I ended up wearing the backup size of a 10R instead of the 8. Considering the high waist of the dress I thought an 8 would work better because I'm really short waisted and have slight shoulders but the waist in the dress is not a forgiving as others I've worn in this style. I have LARGE hips and butt which is why I also need gowns with a more forgiving area there. Full length gowns are really hard for me because of those things. That being said, it is FULLY LINED! I didn't know that and the lining made the "open" hip not so "open". It was tight but doable. It made the top of the slit buckle because it was so tight. I did have to pin the shoulders to make the straps shorter. But doing that made it so I didn't have to wear a bra! BONUS when you have 34D!! It is also SUPER LONG! I had 4.5 inch heels and I still tripped. I honestly don't know if the next size up would have been better. I made it work and we were voted "Best Dressed Couple" by the staff at the wedding! We got ton of compliments and if I could buy it, I'm sure a seamstress would be able to fit this perfectly without much issue.

Cute, but not what I was looking for.
I was trying to hide my arms a bit, as I hate how large they are. That being said, it was a little tight at the bottom, but I do have really big arms. I was hoping there was elastic on the sleeve, but there wasn't. My small framed shoulders was a little overwhelmed by the puff too. I think a larger size would have been a little better as the waist was just a little too snug as well. I'm new to RTR so I'm still learning a few things about renting and ordering the correct sizes. Most of the Trina Turk I've tried was always a tad on the large size so I went down, probably should have gone with the 10. Overall, I wasn't sure I would like this for the event I needed it for. I would try again for a work event in a 10. Just not the fancy wedding look I needed.

I took a risk and it didn't work.
Well, I tried it. I knew it was going to be a bit of a risk for my body but I thought I'd give it a shot. It was really overwhelming in a lot of ways. Too much fabric and frills and the long sleeves made it even more overwhelming. The wrap was nice but that was about it for me. I think this would work well for someone who is tall and slender. Just not for me.

Very pretty and easy to wear.
I really liked this dress. It was a perfect fit and very pretty. I loved the wrap and it just skimmed beautifully over my hips and fit my chest really nicely. I didn't end up wearing it as I was looking for the dress to look more formal than this one did. I would rent this again for a different event as I know it is one that would work well.

I really wanted to love this dress. The bust just wasn't big enough!
I think this runs pretty true to size. The wrap waist is great, I just couldn't get the bust to work. I could have used a ton of tape and perhaps a few pins but it just wasn't going to work. I ordered the M and it worked in every way but the chest. I am a 34D. The wrap and "free" hip is great for my frame as I have big hips compared to my shoulders. Usually a small top and a large bottom. I even ordered the L thinking it would help. It was only SLIGHTLY better in the top and too big everywhere else. I ended up finding a completely different dress for the wedding. I COULD have made this M work, but I didn't have to.
