I was considering wearing this to a wedding. I tried on an 8 and a 10. I would have needed a 6. It's a bit boring in the front but the back is quite cute with a bow. 

I have been eyeing this cute Kate Spade number for years, and finally had a December wedding to rent it for! I received so many compliments and it was very comfortable (plus pockets!). As others have said, the top straps were a little loose so I sized down but it wasn't too bad! The a-line skirt made it so easy to wear and dance in! Love love!!

Overall fit was good the top was slightly big on me but it make it a touch more comfortable. Got lots of compliments on back and bow detail. 

This dress was absolutely perfect for the November wedding I attended! The fit was great, but like some other reviews said, the straps were just a little loose (not too much that they were distracting though). I felt beautiful in this dress and I've received tons of compliments from family and friends. This is easily the nicest dress I have ever worn. You won't regret renting this! 

It was really tight around my ribcage, and I normally wear a four in dresses, but I had to wear a six. I loved the pockets!!! Wore it to homecoming, and it was perfect.

I really liked the dress but the top was a little loose on me through my shoulders because the dress wouldn't stay pulled down on my waist. I wore the 10 instead of the 8 because it was just too snug across my stomach. Material doesn't have a lot of give to it which is why I gave it a 4. I got a lot of compliments so I'm sure I was the only one who noticed the fit issues. 

This dress was incredible! I wore it for engagement pictures (while traveling) and it was so flattering and photographed very well. I didn't find that it wrinkled much and a quick steam was all it needed after being in my suitcase! I've never felt more glamorous than I did in this dress! It accented the waist and the flare at the hip was perfect. It was so hard to send this one back!

This dress fit so weird. The shoulders were too big (need to be 1 inch shorter), the bust was too small--couldn't wear a bra and it squished my boobs. I liked the fabric, color, and pockets. But this was a no go for me.

The bow in the back makes the dress! Gorgeous shade of red. TTS.

The color is amazing and a standout at any event.  Everyone complimented the color and the bow in the back as a standout aspect.  It was a show stopper dress that I was super comfortable in and plus it had pockets!

I wanted to love this KS. I normally wear a 12 in her designs and while this fit great in the waist - the straps were MASSIVE - several inches too long. I couldn't wear it at all. 
I thought I could pull the whole dress down to straighten out the straps but the waist is fitted and won't go down further when it fits properly. 
No way to wear this. 
Might work for a tall person or someone with a XL torso. 

Was a little large especially the arms, I ended up having to pin them down. Other than that it is a beautiful, comfortable dress.

Wore this my boyfriend's holiday party. Length was fine. I am 5'8, 138, hourglass. The 4 fit perfectly and didn't wear a bra. It's probably too low in the back for one but the fabric is thick so it was fine. It was flattering because it hugged my waist but flared out over my hips and stomach and didn't show my tights line. I would say it's true to size trending towards big. I might have been able to squeeze into a 2 but had a 6 as back up. The 4 worked perfectly! 

Perfection! Runs slightly large for Kate spade, but worked out well as I wore it to a company party and so the fit gave it the perfect balance of conservative and fun! And pockets! 

In a sea full of black, you'll definitely stand out in this bright red dress. The shoulders were a little big on me (I wore a size 6 and I'm 5'7" 140 lbs.) I received a lot of compliments, and this dress was perfect for a December wedding

I absolutely loved the dress, especially the low back with the bow.  It was perfect for my office Christmas party. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the 6 was too tight in the waist, but the shoulders were loose in the 8. Fortunately I think I was the only one to notice. Definitely make sure you have a backless bra to go with it. 

It has pockets and a bow, it doesn't get much better than that!

I was skeptical about this dress because the neckline lays a little differently than most. It ended up being a comfortable and flattering choice for our holiday party.

This is a fun, red dress made of nice material. It's modest in the front but open back and bow are a nice surprise and add a flirty touch. I'm 5'7 and the dress was almost a tad bit short for me (for a wedding.) I just had to be extra careful when dancing. I usually wear a 0 and I ended up wearing the 00 in this dress based on reviews. The straps didn't fall for me at all. It fit perfectly! I loved the pockets. Some people wrote that the dress wrinkles. It does--but it's honestly not that bad. It's a great material and there is no need to iron/steam it. I'd definitely rent again for a Christmas party. 

I love the simple elegance of this dress and the color.  I will say I am normally a size 12. But I should have gotten a 14.  There is a side zipper so it makes a little tighter than normal  at the rib cage (empire waist); however, if I had there would have been too much room in the shoulders.  That part was already a little bigger, so I guess my shoulders are smaller?
Overall, very pretty dress.

It was the perfect shade of tomato red. Wore with gold shoes and loved it!  I'm a 2 in JCrew and the 2 was perfect. 

Holy moly I LOVE this dress. It's classic, sophisticated and simply beautiful. I rented this for a formal night on a cruise and I literally received compliments all night. Even though my hair is longer you could still see the bow. I had to wear a sticky, strapless bra but it totally worked. I should have bought this dress. I regret not buying it.

Wore this to a work holiday party and this dress stood out. It was very comfortable and great shape, which made it fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of renting it. 

I loved this dress! The fit was perfect. I would say that it was a little shorter than I thought it would be (and I'm not that tall). I'm usually a 2 in most dresses, but that was definitely too big. Would recommend the dress to anyone - looked great, color and fabric were beautiful, and was very flattering. I didn't even need a bra!

The fit was a bit snug as I had trouble zipping it up myself.  I loved the vibrant red color and the fabric is a great quality. The back detail was the best part of the dress - very eye catching!

This dress was very cute and the bow back detail was adorable. As other reviewers mentioned I felt the straps/shoulders were a little big but nothing that would overly impact the dress. I needed to steam it when I received it but overall it was very cute and looks like a good cocktail/formal dress.  This was a backup dress for me so I did not end up wearing it but would recommend it. However, you definitely need a backless sticky type bra or to go bra less to wear this with the low V in the back. 

Because this dress has an open back it is more true to size. Beautiful material always looks great in pictures. Color is fabulous.

Compliments all night! This dress was SO comfortable and easy to move in. The low back and bow made a nice statement. Wasn't able to wear a regular bra with it because of the back, but the material is thick enough that a bra isn't necessary. 

It was the perfect dress for the awards show I emceed at my school.  Comfortable and classy...with pockets...bonus!  Would rent again.

This dress was so fun to wear, even in the rain! I'm 5'1" and 118lbs. I usually wear a 2-4 and the 2 was perfect. Requires a sticky bra because of the low back. 

This dress was super cute, but it ran a little big in the shoulders. The straps would fall off sometimes.

I rented this Kate Spade red dress for my birthday champagne brunch and it was perfect! The fit was perfect for my 5'1 pear shaped frame. And the dress dons a beatiful deep v shaped back with the most glanorous bow!!
