I decided to step out of the box and rent something I normally wouldn't have.. and I'm glad I did. First, pockets win every time. Second, even on my 5'5'' frame, the length was perfect (see 2nd pic) and I wasn't tugging up the top all night, like with other strapless dresses. I was super lucky the 2 fit, as the backup 4 came with a broken zipper. It was a snug fit, and I couldn't really take deep breaths (haha) , but it was well worth it. I did need help with the zipper though. It's fairly heavy fabric for a small little zipper. I paired these with strappy black shoes and straightened my normally curly hair to polish the look. Men and women were both approaching me all evening (and it was one of those weddings where I didn't know anyone except the bride.. awkward!) and telling me how awesome the dress was. Was even voted best dressed, aside from the bride of course, from 2 people who went to school for art and design (one even made the bride's dress!) So it was a win all around.. I would definitely rent this again, and recommend to anyone who is thinking about it!

So this is the second time that I had an order that "got interrupted" from what I originally ordered shortly before my event. This is actually the original dress I wanted, but one of the sizes wasn't available.. Luckily they still sent the size that was available , along with another dress (which ultimately did not work for me). By now I've learned to get my dresses at least two days before an event, just in case. Once they arrived on a Thursday, I quickly realized none fit. This dress runs extremely small (and I'm usually a 0-2 in several other designers).. So I call RTR, explain my situation, and the fabulous stylists sent me two others overnighted! Luckily they both fit, but the 8 gave me a little more wiggle room in the bodice, as I knew I was going to dance all night. I got tons of compliments (and spins!),the tutu wasn't itchy, and would rent this again.

I tried the size 2 first, and could hardly get it zipped up mid back (i have broad shoulders but my usual size is a 2) so I freaked out a little, because my backup was a 0! I ended up trying it on anyway, and it fit SO MUCH BETTER! Maybe it had been worn more than the other one, is all I could figure. So weird, but I was relieved! I could zip it up and still move my arms. The sleeves were a bit short, but luckily there were zippers on the sleeves so I just unzipped those and left them like that and they looked fine. I paired it with gold accessories and shoes, and felt so glam all night. I received so many compliments and was comfortable with dancing all night, especially with the back being a little longer than the front. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely LOVED the color. The only drawback was the sizing. The 2 fit better through the waist and hips, but was tight in the shoulders and chest. I knew I would be dancing most of the night, so of course I wanted to be able to move! That was really the only thing. And if it had pockets, that would have made the dress even better! I got TONS of compliments and would definitely recommend this dress!

Ended up wearing the 2, my normal size, even though it was a little tight on the top, but still totally moveable. The 4 just didn't fit the rest of my body! LOVE the pockets, so handy because it turned out to be a freezing outdoor wedding. Even the bride (who i didn't know) said she loved my dress :-)
