Perfect fabric for a party scene
I wore this dress for my law school's Barrister's Ball, which got a little rowdy by the end of the night. The fabric of the dress is, like the other reviews say, kind of like that of a scuba suit, which ended up being great as the party guests got a little crazy because you can just brush off any liquid that may unintentionally end up on it. It's thick but not hot at all. Size-wise, if you're an athletic build or an 8-10, you might want to try a different dress as I was definitely in between sizes with a medium being a 6-8 and the large a 10-12. The fabric is stretchy though and the design makes it pretty forgiving, I just had to occasionally pull it down to smooth it out.

Perfect fit and the perfect Bronco blue (and warm enough for Colorado winter)
I wore this for the Denver Broncos holiday party which was a cocktail attire. It ran true to size, maybe even slightly big. This dress was perfect for the weather seeing as it was 3 degrees the night I had to wear it, so I was glad to have the long sleeves and a heavier-weight fabric. The color is absolutely gorgeous and people complimented it all night.

Perfect for my last and senior sorority formal
Loved the color and quality of the dress, the only issue is that the top and bottom seemed to be sized pretty differently...the top runs true to size but the bottom/skirt portion runs a little bit small. Other than that, no complaints!

Smaller/more delicate than it looks!
It looks very chunky but is actually a little bit smaller/more delicate in a good way. Because it is slightly smaller it works with more delicate dresses as well without looking overbearing or out of place.

stunning but runs large
I usually switch between dress sizes as I'm sort of in between, and this one definitely runs large. If you size down though it would be fine; the color and fit/style are absolutely gorgeous and the fabric/cut is also really comfortable which is a bonus! I wish it would have been smaller because I loved the dress. I'll definitely consider renting it again in a smaller size.

awkward fit
The boning/corset portion of the dress fit incredibly awkwardly when I tried it on. The back stuck out at least an inch away from actually touching my back/shoulders and the sleeve portion was just awkward and uncomfortable. Luckily it was a back-up option to another dress, but I wasn't really a fan

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal and it looked and fit exactly how I wanted it to!
This dress worked perfectly for me as I have a smaller waist and this style compliments/shows that off. It fit true to size and the length was perfect. However I'm taller and was wearing very high heels, so for shorter women that may be something to consider as the back may be longer than you'd expect! I would happily order this dress again in any color possible; I loved it.

This dress flows perfectly as you walk and I received compliments on it all night
The belt fit larger than the dress because I have a small waist, but it looked just as good worn without the belt. Fits true to size and the long is definitely LONG so if you're on the edge of maybe needing the long it might be best to go with the regular length. I'm 5' 8" and was wearing 4.5 inch heels and it still got stepped on a few times throughout the night.

classy cute & comfortable
I rented this dress for a wedding shower hosted by my boyfriend's family. It was an upscale backyard cookout and this dress was perfect. It's easy to accessorize however you want and I received compliments on it all night. It ran just a little small but not anything super noticeable. I would just use your backup to go a size up from your usual size because there wasn't a huge change between sizes!
