Didn't like it at first, ended up loving it
I rented it intially and when I tried it on when I got it with my hair in a bun and no makeup on I thought i looked like Laura Croft tomb raider gone wrong. I called RTR in a panic and they sent me a back up. When the day of the wedding actually came and my hair and makeup were done I tried on my dresses again and actually decided to go with this one. Once I didn't look homeless I loved it, and I got a ton of compliments on it too. The back was awesome and I really liked how it fit and how I looked in it!!!! So don't judge a book by its cover, or with no makeup :)

Cute, but didn't end up wearing it
I rented this as a back up. It was cute, but not my favorite. If I hadn't of ended up actually liking the original one I rented once my hair and makeup was all done I'd have worn this one. Will probably rent it for a winter wedding in the future

I got this dress as a back up, along with another Monique Lhullier, and I was so surprised in how differently they fit. I own a monique in a size 6, this was a 6, and the other one I rented was a 6. This one I couldn't even pull the arms all the way up on my arms the lace was so tight. So I never wore it. Clearly runs very small.

Cute but uncomfortable
I got a million compliments on this dress, and it was perfect for the opening of the Kentucky Derby races, however like alot of the other reviews it was incredibly tight on the top. I ordered a 6 and an 8. Typically I am a 4/small/medium in clothes, but I'm 6'0 so I tend to get dresses bigger just because of my height. I have D boobs as well and I felt like they were so smushed in this dress. The 8 was huge and looked terrible so I couldn't go up a size for comfort, but the 6 was so tight in the top and arm holes I felt like I couldn't breathe. To be clear I did wear it, and all night, but I couldn't wait to get it off at the end of the night. It was perfect for the event, and you can suffer through if you have a large chest, but you will leave this in a heap on the floor the minute you walk in the door at the end of the night, I guarantee.

I rented this for a wedding, cause I wanted something different then I would normally wear and this did not disappoint. I really really liked it. The only problem was I have big boobs and the top ran a little small. I had to kind of adjust the arms so I didn't get that terrible arm fat. It was sort of a pain and uncomfortable, but it worked, and the rest of it fit completely fine. I got a ton of compliments on it, and liked it much more then I thought I would. Glad I went out of the box on this one cause I really liked it.

I never wanted to return it
I would wear this dress to sleep if I could, and I didn't want to take it off after the wedding was over. I am 6 feet tall, and rented the 6L and 8L to be safe. The 6 fit pretty perfect, a tiny bit big on me through the stomach, but the length was JUST long enough with heels and the 4L would never have been long enough. I have big boobs and it fit good throughout my whole body, I would have been the only one who noticed that it could have been tighter through the stomach, it wasn't noticeable. I absolutely loved the bottom and how is swished when I walked. I got a million compliments and want to own this dress if I had more fancy things to attend, which I just don't :( If you have a black tie event RENT THIS!

Really tight, really small
I rented this as a back up, and didn't end up wearing it because the dress I really wanted only had one size, which did end up fitting. I wear a 4 in normal clothes, because I am 6 feet tall and have 36C boobs, so typically I size up in dresses. I couldn't even get the size 4 over my head (it doesn't have a zipper). The 6 fit, but was super tight, and honestly was tough getting out of myself when I tried it on. It was very pretty, fit good, looked sexy, but I ultimately went with the dress I really wanted to wear since it fit when I didn't think it would. I'd probably rent this for something else, but in a bigger size unless I was going to some sassy function, other than a wedding!

I have rented multiple times in the past and this time didn't disappoint. I rented from another rental company and the dress didn't fit, and I had a horrible experience. In a panic I called Rent The Runway on a Wednesday before a Friday wedding. They overnighted me this dress in a size 4, and because they didn't have a backup size another dress as my backup. This one worked perfectly, and the girls in customer service were like my therapists as I freaked out about not having a dress. The 4 fit awesome, and I absolutely loved loved loved this dress. Ran pretty true to size and had absolutely no issues with it at all!!

I rented this for a wedding. When I got it in the mail it was brand new with the tags still on it, but there was no belt on either size I got. I called rent the runway about it, and they would have immediately sent me one, however I'm not sure it would have helped. It looked like a hanging, way to big bag, sheet, whatever bad you could think of, but the sleeves and shoulders were tight. I'm 6 feet tall, and it was really long on me too. It just wasn't my cup of tea at all. However, rent the runway is amazing and overnighted me another dress in a different style I liked and that one worked out awesome.

Great Dress!
I rented this for a wedding. I didn't die over it, wasn't one of my favorites, but I did really like it. Got alot of compliments on it, and fit pretty well too. No complaints!

One of my favorites so far
I absolutely loved renting this dress! I've rented probably close to 10 times now, and this quite possibly ranks up there as my favorite. The only issue is like all the rest of the reviews the slip is much smaller then the lace part of the dress. I had previously rented a Nicole Miller and it ran incredibly small, so for this one I prepared and rented the medium and the large. Well those were way too big, so I called and rent the runway overnighted me the small, however I am lucky I had the bigger sizes because I wore the large slip with the small lace dress. I'm 6 feet tall, typically wear a 4 in jeans, but I have big boobs and i was FALLING out of the small and medium slips. It worked out in the end and I absolutely loved it and got a million compliments, but be prepared if you are at all chesty!

I was really looking forward to wearing this dress. It looked so good on other girls in their pictures, however it didn't fit me at ALL. I'm 6'0, 145 pounds, and wear normally a size 4. I rented the small and medium as a back-up and neither fit. The small was mini and the medium was still really tight and super short on me. I looked like a hooker, and there is no way I was going out in public. RTR was awesome about it, and issued me a credit, tried to send me another one, but the time frame was to tight. I have no idea what the large would have looked like on me, but I'd never have thought renting this dress that I would ever need the large in it. So if you are tall, beware!!!!

Didn't disappoint again!
I loved, loved, loved this dress. I usually wear a size 28 in jeans, so a size 4, but almost always wear a size 6 in dresses. This was the same. It fit great, and I didn't even need to try the size 4 on that I got as a back up. Many of the other reviewers said it looked worn or that the back clasps were lose. This was not the case with mine. My clasps were tight, didn't come undone at all, and my lace looked brand new. I've rented before and absolutely will continue to do so.

Loved it.
I absolutely loved this dress. I'm 6 feet tall, usually wear an 8 in dresses, but wear a d cup. So to be safe I got a 10 as well. The 8 fit but was a little tight in the boobs. The 10 fit great and didn't show to much cleavage, which I was a little worried about. So if you are top heavy I would absolutely recommend going up a size in the dress. Besides that I loved it, got a ton of compliments on it, and it was super flattering and very comfortable.
