I attended a fancy fundraiser and I stood out in a sea of terrific dresses.
On my way out, a table full of both men and women stopped me and asked, "Where did you buy that gown?" They nearly fell on the floor when I told them that I Rented the Runway! The neckline is what makes this dress. It was a bit tight across my 36" torso and the cups were a tad big for my A but it still worked. The royal blue is great, too.

Formal Christmas Eve Party
Had difficulty with the zippers on both Badgley Mischka dresses: a size 2 and a size 4. I don't think it was a fat thing. The zipper seemed "tired". I ended up wearing the 2. The only part of the dress that bothered me was the extra shirred fabric in the hips. I don't need to hide that area so I found it baggy. Its a Showstopper! Wearing navy instead of black is a fabulously chic change. Has lots of stretch to it.

Black Tie Optional Christmas Party
Couldn't zip the zipper on either Badgley Mischka dress: a size 2 and a size 4. I don't think it was a fat thing. The zipper seemed "tired". I ended up wearing the navy Badgley Misch as the gold one truly is a shimmering mass of Look at Me glory. That's why its a Showstopper! Wearing navy instead of black is a fabulously chic change.

A little long and loose
This dress should be a classic. I had high hopes for New Year's Eve. The color was a bit "browner" than the photo and the material made the dress a bit frumpy or loose for me. I should have chatted with a specialist about the fit. Another RTR dress saved the day..

Beautiful Color and Fit
Off the shoulder is oh so modern. This gown flows nicely which means it might cover some imperfection of the tummy if you get my drift. It was a little long but my 3" heels did the trick for my 5'6" self. I did have to squeeze and hold my breath to get my 36B chest in there but the top never slipped or moved which is a bonus when it comes to off-the-shoulder. I would rent it again.

The metallic fabric is gorgeous! Breathtaking! But the high waist can make one look a little pregnant. Its my mistake for ordering a 6. I'm probably a 4. I ordered a second dress which I ended up wearing to the gala instead.

Stones look plastic
The photos of this bib necklace looked great but sorry to say the necklace looked cheap. The large "turquoise" screams "plastic". The weight of the thing will give you a backache. The dress I rented, however, was terrific. No need for jewelery.

The gold sequins were perfect for New Year's! I should have paid attention to how "mini" it was. Unfortunately, at 5'6" it rode waaay up my thigh. Although I have nice long legs, it wasn't appropriate for a women of a certain age..
