Perfect Combo: Fun & Conservative
I needed a dress for a weekend work event where I was a plus one. I had no idea what the dress code might be, but I wore this dress with wedges and it was perfect. The cut of the dress is clean and classic, the pattern is fun and stands out just the right amount, and the flared bottom gives some personality. The dress can easily be dressed up with heels or wedges, but also looks great casually with sandals and flats. I also felt that it fit similarly to other Kate Spade dresses, which is true to size for me, but for a back up would get one size larger. I would definitely rent again due to how versatile it is.

Gorgeous
I use RTR a lot, and I was really impressed by this top. It's simple enough to be dressed up or down, the color pops, and the fabric is absolutely gorgeous. It's contemporary elegance and looks even better in person. I will definitely be renting this top again! Also, both the xs and s fit, but due to my height I went with the small because it had slightly better proportions.

Good but..
First, I loved wearing this piece because I didn't know how formal my event would be and this was very easy to dress both up and down. It was comfortable, light and airy, but I had to use a ton of fashion tape. First, the front gaped open even with the small clasp at the bust. Without fashion tape, my stomach was showing. It just absolutely wouldn't stay closed otherwise. Also I'm a larger bust (34D) and wanted to wear a bra, so I stuck a piece of fashion tape in the back right above my bra line so that it wouldn't show. That addition was actually really convenient. Overall a pretty piece but the front part was really problematic. Also I'm 5'9" and the XSR fit, so I think it runs a size larger than normal.

Great top, not for all body types
The previous reviews for this top are spot on, so when I received it, it was exactly what I wanted. I'm tall but have a short torso, so the crop length was really nice. I liked that the bottom of the top it isn't tight, it almost slightly flares, so I was able to eat dinner without worrying about the after-belly. I also have a large chest size (34D) and was able to wear a push-up bra and still fit into the XS, so I'd say the top does run large. Also, it showed major cleavage, which is exactly what I wanted, but the look is far from subtle. Overall, this top was perfect for my Valentine's day date night, and my boyfriend LOVED it, but it has a unique cut that won't work for every build, and it is very revealing.

Wore this for a black tie wedding at the NYPL. I wanted something classic but dramatic, and this delivered. I rent dresses all the time and have never loved a dress more, and have never received more compliments than while wearing this dress. The lace is stretchy and so easy to wear and dance in. I'm 5'9" and with a 2" heel the regular size was still long enough.

Lovely classic
Beautiful, feminine, elegant, and easy to wear. It ran slightly small in the shoulders but I was still able to wear my regular size (2). It was perfect for a brunch wedding when I didn't quite know how formal the attire would be. Will definitely rent this one again!

Cute, fun, easy to wear. Got lots of compliments, especially for the beautiful color. Under the arms was somewhat tight but overall an easy fit. Kate Spade runs true to size.

Gorgeous, not perfect
The reviews for this dress are spot on. It's definitely beautiful, but also runs small. I'm usually a 2 (sometimes a 0) and I really needed the 4 in this. Sizing up is a must. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, the lace in the arms is itchy. Still, the dress was elegant and the look I wanted, so it was worth the imperfections.

Too big
I always wear a 2 or 4, but for this dress the size 0 was massive. The waist was so large that it made me look twice my size, because it was super baggy and the heavy material didn't fall. Also, the arm holes were really big and did not align with the slip matched for underneath. The fact that the slip made to go underneath the dress didn't even work with the dress was a huge disappointment. It didn't feel like designer quality for that reason, although the embroidery itself was beautiful.

Very short
I'm a consistent size 2, but I sometimes size up to a 4 due to my height. In this dress, the 2 fit well in the body, but was extremely short in length. The size 4 was very baggy, and not longer at all. So, I was unable to wear this. However, I have a 34D chest and did not find the V-neck too revealing. Overall, this is an elegant piece for someone of average/petite height.

Fun but difficult
I'm 5'9" and a size 2, but I have a 34D bust so I thought (based on other reviews) this dress would fit perfectly. Nope - it was absolutely huge in the top, in both sizes XS and S. I used a push-up bra and a ton of fashion tape to make it work, but renter beware, it was not easy. I often have the opposite problem, tops squeeze my chest, so I'm note entirely sure who could adequately fill this dress out. Also the closures are only at the waist, so it's possible to have a major slip-up when seated. Overall it ended up being a show stopper and looked great in photos, but I would prefer to rent something with a more comfortable and natural fit next time.

Perfect Fall Dress
I loved this dress so much I bought it! It's almost a sweater-like material, thick but not woolen or bulky. It's ideal for fall weather! It runs on the larger side, so I sized down and it worked great. The pattern is bold but does not overwhelm. I wore it with a black leather moto jacket for a NYC rooftop party. Highly recommended!

Beautiful color, difficult material
I love RTR, but this is the first dress I've rented that had both pros and cons. Pros: Amazing color, and the style looks flattering on. I am a 34D chest and did not need a bra. Cons: Not comfortable. The material has no give and is very thick, the zippers are stiff, and the arms are loose but underarms/shoulderds are extremely tight. As other reviewers wrote, you definitely cannot lift your arms above your shoulders. Other lace dresses (like the DVF Zarita) has nice stretch, but this one definitely did not. Overall, you should rent it if you want to look good in pictures but don't have to move much during your event. Note - the 4 fit me better than the 6, but the zipper was broken so I had to wear the backup size. Even having sized up I could not move my arms.

Gorgeous dress! Only thing is that the fabric did not provide stretch and I thought it might. Still hid mid-section flaws post-dinner and looked great overall. Very flattering and I received a ton of compliments. I'd definitely rent this dress again!

Great Quality, Elegant top
This is a really great piece, but I wish I hadn't taken the advice of the other reviews that said to rent down a size. I found that this garment fit quite true to size, and I personally like my jumpsuits slightly oversized for a "slouchy" look so I wish I had actually gotten one bigger as a back up. I normally wear a 4, so my back-up was the 2. It did fit, but was too form fitting in the legs for my liking. Still, the 4 was fine. The quality is really great, it not too sheer, and both the thin straps and the open back are very elegant. Notably, the length of the regular might be a bit too short for women over 5'9', as I am 5'8" and it was justtt long enough. Overall, I would definitely rent this again. It is really easy to dress up and down, and was perfect for my events both day and night.

Simple, Classic, Elegant
I wore this dress to Easter brunch at a country club. It was perfect: simple but elegant. I was concerned about the length because I'm 5'8", which is a height that is often in between wearing regular sizes and wearing tall sizes. As other reviewers had mentioned, this dress does run small and very short. I wore it with flats and was fine, but would definitely caution others about the length. Size wise I usually wear a 2 or 4, and the 4 did fit, but I ended up wearing the 6 for the extra length. The 6 was still fitted enough to compliment my figure, and, as there is no stretch in the fabric, I was particularly grateful for the extra room after eating large portions. The dress was also tight on the bust, so larger chested women might want to avoid this one. Overall it is a very pretty dress, is convenient to dress up or down, but runs quite small and is probably best for more petite figures.

AMAZING DRESS
I am so in love with this dress, and wearing it was definitely the highlight of my birthday! The fabric is really stretchy yet substantial, and it definitely shows off your figure! Both the xs and the small fit, but for my event I wanted it more form fitting and went with the xs. Like most herve dresses it does run a bit long. I also chose to wear a bra with it because I have a large bust, but my straps were easy to hide and didn't show at all. The color is fabulous and really stands out. I'm already looking for reasons to rent this dress again! LOVE IT! Thanks for everything RTR!

GORGEOUS, elegant, and comfortable!
This is an absolutely stunning dress that I hope to rent again! It is so comfortable, the fabric doesn't wrinkle so it looks great the entire night, and it has a nice stretch so that I could eat a full meal and not worry about a thing! It is incredibly elegant and timeless. There is intricate detailing in the lace, and I love the unique delicate cap sleeves. I definitely recommend the longer length for taller ladies - I only wore 3" heels so that the length was right. It's the kind of dress that flatters all body types.
