This dress was so beautiful but super form-fitting without any give. At the time I was a 6 in everything, but had to wear the 8 in order to comfortably move/sit down. 

I am a 36DDD with not much hips and larger thighs.  Never lost my baby weight (3 years ago!) I like to say I am thick and juicy :)  The dress has no stretch so beware of that.  I am usually a 10 in Banana republic bottoms.  165lbs 5'7.   I went with the 12- the 10 was too small for sure. 

Got so many compliments on this dress! Perfect for a wedding in February. The top material is delicate so be careful. 

It was a beautiful dress, beautiful color, and multiple strangers complimented the dress! It is big, so I would size down. I am normally a size 16 and had to go down to 14. 

I wore this for my sorority formal and it was perfect! The quality of the dress is amazing! It was elegant and classy, I would absolutely rent this again!

I got this dress in both a size 2 and 4, however, the size 2 couldn't ship to me. Sadly, the size 4 was a little too lose in both the bust and sleeves for me to wear this to my ball. I absolutely loved the color and the lace details, but the size issue threw me off. Also, the ribbon around the waist seemed cheap and like it didn't fit the feel of the dress. I was sad I wasn't able to wear this dress because the color was so beautiful!

Absolutely loved this dress!!! Fits try to size. I'm 5'9" and length was perfect! Comfortable and gorgeous! 

I loved the material and felt like it was very well made. I received numerous compliments on the dress. It was a little big on me, but I'm still losing baby weight, so I was unsure what size to order. At the time I wore it I was 190lbs, 5'8. The 14 probably would have for better, but wasn't available. Overall, I loved wearing it, but wish I'd ordered sooner so I could have gotten the right size. 

I rented this dress for a Spring wedding and absolutely LOVED it. I got so many compliments about the dress from other wedding guests! The fit was perfect for me and the only complaint I had was due to the mesh detail on the arms, I was cautious about my movement so it wouldn't rip. But beyond that the dress was stunning!! I would totally rent again and again 

This dress was such a hot little number! I am 5'3 and it was still really short but it worked well for a summer wedding in Carmel. It runs veryyyy true to size (maybe on the slightly smaller side too). I received lots of compliments on how great I looked! 

I rented this dress for my cousins September wedding and LOVED IT. I got so many compliments all night. I was worried about the sizing but ended up wearing the 0 because the top fit better than the 2. It's not the most comfortable material but it wasn't bad and was worth it for how it looked! 

I sized up based on other reviews and it was definitely the right decision, the dress doesn’t have any stretch. I was unable to wear the dress due to damage on the sleeve, but customer service was great and refunded me right away!

Absolutely loved this dress. May actually be my favorite dress I've rented. Only issue, the material is quite restrictive. If I would have known I would have ordered a 4. 

I LOVED THIS DRESS! It was form fitting in the bodice and arms but damn did it feel and look good in pictures. I wore the size up and if i could do it again would probably have ordered two sizes up. This was my bad but I wore this to an outdoor, summer wedding in Kentucky which was very hot so it became sticky so this dress is better suited for a fall event. Overall, loved it and highly recommend. 

Beautiful dress. The fabric isn't stretchy,  I would recommend ordering a size larger. It's also not very breathable, but when it's 104° outside, I don't know many dresses that would be. Overall a great dress, I received compliments all night!

This dress runs extremely small with no give. I'm usually between an 8-10, but am so glad I read the reviews to size up. Gorgeous dress. Compliments ALL NIGHT LONG as we danced the night away. 

Okay, let me say that when this dress first came and I tried it on I had felt that I had surely made a mistake. It felt frumpy and I was disappointed because I was so in love with it from the pictures I had seen. Once my hair and my makeup were done and I found the right shoes and I put this dress back on- it was a game changer. I really felt this dress was a one of a kind and something about it really struck me (although I am not a fanatic for red dresses). I wore this dress to a very swanky black tie/cocktail dress code dinner and this dress turned many heads. Several people gushed  over this dress and specifically the head of the restaurant stating that it was so unique and that out of all of the dresses she has seen worn to that venue- she had yet to see anything like this one. I honesty have to say  I am saddened to see this dress go back and if it were possible I would love to have this as a staple in my closet permanently.  It's beautiful and better yet I felt beautiful in it.  It's definitely and eyecatcher. I think my only complaint is that the movement of the arms is slightly restricted at the underarms because it's lace and it has a nude sheath within the dress which I wish was a little more giving but otherwise it is PERFECTION!

Fabric was good. Mesh was super flimsy and fragile however, it looked great and I got loads of compliments. Most importantly, I felt great in it.

This dress is gorgeous! I received so many complements. The sleeves are sheer so even though it's long sleeved it can be worn in the summer. It runs a little small in the shoulders and arms so I would order a size up. 

I received a ton of compliments on this dress!  It was fun to wear! My only thing would be the sleeves... they're a little baggy for the fit on the rest of the dress, which is understandable since all bodies are different.  But otherwise, I felt like everything fit really well.  Loved the color and the detail of the lace.  

In a sea of black formal dresses, this stood out! Heavier which was great for a spring event. Ran a tad large in the arms and because of my height the waist sat lower but still looked great!

The dress fit me perfect. It was comfortable to sit in and dance in. I never had to pull down the dress or anything. I would rent again!

I loved this dress and so did everyone else. I’m usually a size 4 or 6 and I wore the 6 in this dress as the lace sleeves were restricting. I couldn't zip it all the way up by myself because when I reached back to grab the zipper I could hear the mesh in the elbow tear a little, so needless to say I got spooked and had my man zip me in.  Overall the dress was super comfortable and I didnt have to think about it very much all night. The red is gorgeous and definitely a fun alternative to a classic cocktail dress for a holiday party. 

I wore this for a winter wedding and it was a show stopper for sure.  The only bad thing is the mesh in the elbows ripped while zippering up the back of it. The mesh must be ultra delicate as the size 6 I received had a very apparent hole in the back so I was unable to wear that size. 

I absolutely loved wearing this dress. I wore it to my companys christmas party, which was pretty formal. I felt like this dress was perfect. Its flattering without being too short or revealing. The only down side is that the fabric has absolutely no stretch. I wore a backless bra which allowed the zipper to zip, but when i had a normal bra on it wouldnt even stretch over my bra. All in all though this dress was absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments. I would definitely choose it again!

I liked that I could wear normal undergarments with this dress. However, the liner on the top can be tricky, especially if the dress arrives a bit wrinkled.

I loved the dress! It was perfect for the New Years Eve Wedding I attended.  There is no give or stretch in this dress. I went with the size 8 which fit perfectly! 

Dress fit perfectly I rented a 2 and a 4 and they both fit, but I thought the 2 looked better. Lots of compliments--very elegant! 

The dress was beautiful and high quality.  It was tight due to the material lacking any stretch, but it was still comfortable enough and true to size.  I wore it to a holiday party at a winery and thought it was very appropriate and fun.  The high neckline and sleeves made it feel classy, but the tight waist and shorter hemline made it sexy.  I got several compliments on it.  I have not done a repeat rental yet, but I loved this dress so much I may consider getting it again at some point.

Loved wearing this dress! Rented for my husband's work funcion and felt beautiful in it. I'm between sizes so the 18 was a little big in places but the 16 was too small in areas so I went with the bigger size. Got compliments all night! 

My favorite RTR ever. The fit was perfect (maybe a tiny bit tight in the arms). The color is a show stopper and perfect for the holidays. Got compliment after compliment. Couldn't have been more pleased. 

I was told I had the best dress (besides the bride) at a wedding and that I really stood out! From the bright red, to the sheer lace top, to the embroidery on the bottom, this dress is a hit!

It arrived the day of my event at 11a, I luckily had back up, but didn't need it! I was nervous that it would be too short, but it was perfect on my longer torso, shorter leg, athletic frame. I'm about 5'5" 120lb and it fit like a glove! When sitting, it was a bit short as the bottom half of the dress didn't have much give, but all in all a great dress. Got tons of compliments, good to dance in, and it photographed well. Happy customer!

Others stated it was tight in the arms. I didn't have that issue. Fit pretty true to size and the length was great.

It was perfect for the wedding I attended in mid-October. It does run a little small. I usually wear a size 4 but decide to go with a size 6 for a better and more comfortable fit. Overall, it was a great experience. I wish I could wear the dress again! 

Wore this for a friend's spring wedding. I'm usually a 2 or a 4, and I went with the 4. It was just a tad short for my 5' 4" frame (at least for a wedding), and the waist was rather tight as well. Despite my own self consciousness, I received a ton of compliments. It's a beautiful dress and very well made!

Thick lace - no stretch.  This would be amazing on the right body shape - someone more hourglass.  I'm usually an 18 or 20 for dresses because my fattest portion is thru the middle - so, I went with the 20.  The waist was fine (a little big, but 18 may have been snug), but the arms, chest, and skirt were too big.  I tried sitting down (my date was for dinner) and there was gapping at the neck.  I tried adding a belt which helped the skirt look better, but the top and sleeves were just too big.  
This would be SO pretty on someone else.  The mesh between the lace appliques is delicate and the overall look is very luxe.  Recommend for anyone not apple shaped - or, maybe, an apple with more bust than me (38 DD). 

Wore this to a work function and the dress was great. The lace on the arms was bullied than I expected. Skirt was a little longer on the plus sizes and felt too long for my height. Color was beautiful and bright.

I am 5'3, 200 and I always wear a 16 in dresses so when I tried this on and it was large, I was surprised. A lot of the reviews say it runs small but I didn't get that at all. Sleeves were loose and length was long.  Description says it falls at mid thigh but it was below my knees, I had to pin it. Overall though, I did end up loving it. Everyone commented on how pretty I looked in it and it was really comfortable. Due to an injury I wore sneakers with it and actually I think it looked pretty cute. Great dress!

The color was beautiful, the fit was average. It fits close to, true to size. It was a little large because I usually wear one size smaller. The only con was that the dress had a lot of wear & tear to it, and the seam on the left side of the dress had been torn. But, I made it work, it just looked like it had a slit in the side of the dress but, I am positive it was not suppose to be that way. Overall, great dress rental! 

Just awful. If you're short, the waist is way too low. The sleeves are way too big. It looks horrible on and so dated! Very heavy, not light like photo. Don't do it!!!

If you enjoy breathing i wouldnt reccommend this dress. There is absolutely no stretch to it! Otherwise, It was a beautful dress.

I'm glad i sized up for this dress as it had no stretch, but the size 4 fit me perfectly! The arms were a little loose but that allowed me to move and dance around more. Ironically there was another guest at the same wedding with this same dress... also from #renttherunway #whatarethechances - We both got tons of compliments all night! 

Runs very small, I had to go up two dress sizes. The cinch in the middle of the dress is perfect for us hourglass ladies. I'm only 5ft 3 and it was a good length on me, so for taller ladies it may feel quite short.

I rented the 2 & 4. I ended up wearing the 2 because the 4 bunched up too much near the stomach area. This dress is gorgeous and I received many compiments on it, but I do have a few complaints. 
The sheer sections on the dress (arms and chest area) is VERY delicate. Both sizes I tried on already had holes in the elbow areas, which werent noticeable to anyone because of the detail, but still made me nervous through the night because I didn't want to make it worse. Also BOTH dresses smelled like body odor in the armpit areas. I didn't realize this till we were at the wedding, and I was mortified. When we got home I smelled the size 4 and it was the same. I dont know if these dresses werent cleaned appropriately, but it really grossed me out. I understand others wear the dress prior to me, but I just really hope they are being cleaned well. 
I will continue to rent dresses, because I love this company and the customer service, but this specific experience is definitely going to make me look and SMELL the dress prior to leaving my house. :)
