Beautiful, comfortable, fun back!
The dress was beautiful and comfortable. I am a 34C and no bra was needed. Conservative in front with a fun back. Beautiful colors. Runs slightly big with some room at the tummy so great for hiding an imperfect midsection. Only downsides were 1) it came wrinkly and I cannot imagine otherwise so if you don't own a steamer build time in to have it pressed and 2) it was on the short side for a 6R (I am 5'4 on a good day and it was maybe a tad short with some pretty short heels).

Classy and cute
Comfortable and suitable for classy/conservative events but the red still makes it fun. I'm 5'4" and it hit a few inches below my knee. Due to some shoulder sheerness I needed to wear a strapless bar.

Pretty and fun - beautiful color!
This dress is pretty, comfortable, and flattering. The cool back is a lot of fun and it holds you well even without a bra. ILoved it - would rent again!

Pretty, flattering, short
The fit was true to size and the colors were beautiful for spring. I felt like the lace also did well to camouflage problem areas. I was a little self conscious about how short it was - I would be wary of this if you are above 5'6". Luckily I'm shorter than that.

Beautiful color, well placed cut outs
I loved how the dress balanced out the fact that it had cutouts by being on the longer side. It ran a bit big but that was good because the material won't conceal flaws and the cutouts make it impossible to wear spanx so the extra fabric did a bit to hide a bit of tummy.

One of my favorite rentals - flattering and fun!
It's very fitted but bandage dress type material that holds you in and the pattern is very flattering. It's low cut but is balanced out by being a conservative length (I'm 5'4" and it bit right at knee length).

Beautiful dress! Runs huge (I'm 6-8 normally - wore the 6 but prob could have worn a 2) but actually lays fine even when super big.

Beautiful color - business in front and party in back!
Very pretty dress. Runs pretty true to size (I haven't gotten back to my profile stats post baby). Runs kinda long (I am 5'4" and wore like 3.5" heels and maybe should have gone petite). Also, I did not realize low back when I booked it so had to get some last minute undergarment fix but the low back ended up being fun.

Gorgeous color and it gave me a waist! Glad I read the reviews because I am between a 6 and 8 depending on style and needed a 10. I managed to make the petite work by wearing short heels.

Beautiful and comfortable!
Perfect dress for a spring wedding. The light blue color was pretty. The cut was great for me with a few extra post partum pounds around my midsection and the top still fit fine even with my larger than normal nursing bustline. I actually may have been able to do the 6 but preferred the 8 for the length. The one issue with the dress is it is pretty short. I am not quite 5'4" and was showing quite a lot of leg. It is otherwise conservative at least but I'd be a little wary of the dress if I were over 5'6",

Flattering post partum dress.
This is very stretchy and the fabric drapes so it was great for post-partum wear (total camouflage of tummy). Extremely comfortable while still pretty. I would recommend sizing down at least one size but since it doesn't fit tightly regardless the sizes don't matter that much. My only knock on it is it was VERY long. I wore very high heels and am 5' 4" and wore a 6R and it still touched the ground.

Gorgeous, flattering, and comfortable!
This dress is very forgiving with all of the gathering and is super stretchy so it's very comfortable! The color is very interesting and I got lots of compliments. It is low cut, which I normally am ok with but I had to knock off a star because it kept slipping down on one side revealing a smidgen of my bra so it's probably better for something like a seated dinner rather than a party with lots of dancing like where I wore it.

The dress was very beautiful and was super comfortable and flattering! I'm glad I read the comments because there is a lot of the gold in the dress so for shoes and accessories you have to take that into account. It has a very retro feel to it - felt like I would fit in at Studio 54!

Stunning color!
The color on the dress is beautiful, particularly in pics (in life it look less vibrant). It is very stretchy and comfortable. Very classy looking too - I'm 5'4" and it was just an inch or two above my knee. Because it is so stretchy I suggest spanx unless your stomach is totally flat because it is clingy. Only other downside is that it requires a strapless bra. Got compliments all night!

This dress has a lot of stretch in the bottom half of the dress and with the way the fabric is, it is very forgiving of all sins. It runs large except for in the top so if you are large-chested go with your normal size.

Beautiful color and material but not forgiving.
Pros: The material on this dress was just so beautiful (both the detail of the lace and the color) and it is very stretchy so was super comfortable. Cons: there is flesh-colored mesh above the bust line that makes it difficult to adjust undergarment lines etc. It is also really best on ladies with completely flat stomach. My stomach is fairly flat but not flat enough that some of the pics were quite unflattering. I also had to size up a size but knew that would be the case from the other reviews.

Simple, elegant, beautiful color
It was back up dress so I didn't wear it but it was true to size (actually may even run big if you have a small bust) and cute. I am 5 ft 4 and it went to the top of my knee so I think it would be best on ladies 5 ft 6 or taller. Beautiful red and very comfortable but I went with my primary dress.

Beautiful fabric but tough to pull off!
The good: the fabric is beautiful and the dress is very comfortable with a lot of stretch. The 42 and 44 both zipped easily but I felt like the 44 was more flattering so I went with that. The bad: the dress has no structure and the fabric is clingy so spanx are a must and even with spanx the dress magnifies flaws. I originally wasn't going to go through with wearing it because I looked 100% straight up and down in it but put a belt on and that helped a lot! In general, I would highly recommend it to people with a flawless hourglass body and a completely flat stomach but would caution others against it.

This dress was beautiful and the top color is great if you have blue eyes. It is definitely bigger on the bottom and smaller on the hips so I would not recommend for a pear shape. I also found it to be super comfortable and had to both dance in it and sit for a long dinner. I was disappointed that it did not come with the belt shown in the pic so it was only two colors but it was still gorgeous! The other negative is that it is designed to go in as the leg goes down and there is no slit so you can't take big strides.

Classy, yet sexy.
The dress is very classy and was perfect for the daytime party I attended in it. With the long sleeves and high neckline it is very classy but it is fitted closely enough and is pretty short (and I am not quite 5'4"), which adds some va va voom. I am always a 6 in Trina Turk and the 4 fit me great (the 6 would have worked too but I went with the 4) so it definitely runs large.

Fun dress!
The dress was cute and fun. I had to pull it up repeatedly on top but that may be since I was in a hurry and did not secure the inner strap. Or it may be my long torso. I'm glad it was for dinner and not somewhere I'd be dancing but overall I was happy with the dress.

Great for a special date night!
This dress is sooo flattering. It was my first Herve Leger and it won't be my last! I thought the dress would be super uncomfortable but it is actually very comfortable. I hate spanx and thought it would feel like all over spanx but while it held even better than spanx it was so much more comfortable. Only issue I had was with the top. The band is too high so it cut me in the middle of my breasts, not below. Also, it showed more skin on the outside under the arm than I think it needed to. That said, my husband loved it so much I wore it two nights in a row. On sizing, I wore the M because that was the only size they had but think that I probably could have worn an S As well.

Fun and flirty!
This dress was fantastic. It was very comfortable and cute - my husband loved it and I got compliments all night! It is very flattering. I would size up for the backup size if you are busty. I was worried it would be very short but it was more of a mid-thigh length than a mini on my 5'4" self. Hated to have to send it back!

Very pretty dress that was sent to me when my original dress was not available. Unfortunately, it was only available in my usual size and it runs very small so I did not wear. Particularly if you are remotely busty or have an above average sized rib cage for your frame I would suggest going up 2 sizes. The hips aren't fitted at all so pear shapes might not need to size up much at all.

The dress was really pretty and definitely suited my figure well. I have a larger waist with smaller hips but this made my figure look more hourglass. It is very roomy in the hips so no spanx necessary, meaning it was super comfortable. It was also nice that I could wear a normal bra with it. Definitely got a lot of compliments. Only negative is the dress was very long. I am 5'4" and I think my heels were close to 4 inches and the dress was still a wee bit long so I probably would not recommend it to anyone under 5'3" (and that might be pushing it) unless you like to wear REALLY tall shoes.

The dress is a beautiful color and material. I totally agree with the other comments here though that it has no give and is very closely cut. Glad I read the reviews and sized up for the backup size. If you are particularly hippy or busty you would really need to size up 2 sizes. That said, it was a real stunner and I was very happy with my rental!

Georgeous dress but not for the faint of heart!
Dress fit mostly true to size but it is very fitted. I am not used to a Trina Turk dressing being fitted at the hips on me so definitely avoid if you are hippy! Great stretch though so it was still comfortable. A bra is challenging as you need it to be low and in the front and the back but I managed to find a bodysuit with built in U bra that worked great (well with fashion tape it did)! Despite these issues, the end result was great - it was very flattering!

I got soooo many compliments on this dress. The dress itself is gorgeous and it is also very flattering. Only slight criticism is the dress kept moving on me so I had to readjust it (zipper in the back would get off center). With the stretch in it (and because I was able to wear a normal bra with it), it is extremely comfortable.

Beautiful dress! Got lots of compliments. I would note that it is proportioned for more pear shape people. I was torn between the 6 and 8 because the bust was a little snug on the 6 but the 6 still worked best because the hips on the 8 would have been way big.
