This gown is beautifully designed and very flattering--AND comfortable. Unfortunately the condition of the gown made it unwearable. The beading and sequins are attached to a stretch net overlay. The gown arrived with the beads/sequins stuck to the netting in many areas. There were many areas quarter sized and larger missing beading/sequins altogether. Again--I would BUY this gown it is that beautiful on--however, this particular one needs to be retired.

I rented this because I loved a longer full length version of this dress. Well, the reason the long version worked so well is that the weight of the lower half kept the dress pulled down and smooth. This short version with amazing neckline was a bit too long making it look dowdy on my 5'2" inch frame. Plus the dress creeped up as I walked--I am curvy so this is just my experience. Again, I think if you are a little less curvy and a bit taller this dress is a home run.

This dress would be 5 stars for a short/petite hourglass curvy woman (moi) if the hemline was shorter and not so tapered. It looked a bit dowdy and sadly for me, kept creeping and bunching up as I walked. Not a good look. I suspect this is a knockout on a taller woman with less pronounced curves.

Beautiful Gown! It runs true to size but I was more comfortable in the 6R than the 4. Wore it for a film festival opening night gala and received many compliments. I would love to own this dress--also, I am 5'2" and the regular with 3 inch heels was perfect. The dress is heavy at the bottom so I did have to pull up the top several times as it was revealing a little too much at times. Other than that--a stunning, comfortable and fun gown to wear.

I am usually a 4 in women's and ordered this dress in a petite 4 (forgetting that petite 4 is smaller everywhere than women's). Beautiful dress and as it was my back-up I didn't mind that it did not fit. I wore the Nicolle Miller and got compliments all night long.

This is a dress best suited for an athletic slim build or light curves and no larger than a B cup as it runs small across the bust. This is because the seam running across the bust where the neoprene meets the sheer net has no give. If you are lager than a B cup that seam creates an unattractive line depression across the bust (there is a lot of give in the net fabric above the seam and a lot of give in the neoprene below the seam). Really wanted to wear this--it is beautiful.

This stunning dress was a back-up I had ordered for a film premier. When my first dress (also stunning but had issues with the boning) did not work out I turned to this beautifully constructed feminine dress. Alas, it runs small and even my suck me in hose and spanks could not keep the dress down where it needed to be. I needed the 6! Because my event was Saturday afternoon and this was Friday eve, the wonderful customer service rep called me back on her way home to check in with me. We both agreed it was impossible to ship another dress for my event and she graciously offered me a future rental as my primary dress could not be worn due to exposed boning in the bodice. This was the right thing to do--GREAT customer service and beautiful quality dresses for those of us who would rather rent for ecological and/or economical reasons. ps: I will rent this dress in the future in the correct size.

OMG--So wanted this dress to work for me. The cut, design, fabric, construction, all just gorgeous but it runs very small. The size 6 could have worked but the built in boning was no longer sewn in and was cutting into my skin below the ribcage. This sooooo sucked because if the boning had not been loose this dress would have been amazing for the premier of my film. Arrggghh! The lovely woman I spoke with at RTR made everything right by offering me a future rental as the back up dress was too big and this dress was damaged. Love the customer service! Also, if you rent this amazing dress, you really must not have small shoulders or a small back as it will not fit well on the upper body--gorgeously made! Runs very small.

this was a back up dress as my original choice was not available in my size. The dress is beautifully made and yet it was a little worn==the black of the fabric was faded. That said, the quality is amazing. It was a good choice for a country wedding. Keep in mind that if you are petite like me, (5'2") it will hit well below the knee which can be a little dowdy. Wear highest heels with it--

I wore this dress for a pre-wedding event and it was very comfortable and perfect for a summer evening in Montana. I would note that it is a bit long for my 5'2" frame and the dress did arrive wrinkled. Because there is some stretch to the cotton fabric it was actually difficult to press so it did not look crisp. Had we not had the event to attend within an hour of our arrival, I would have had it pressed professionally. True to size. I am a curvy 4 and the 4 fit great.

This dress is gorgeous. However I was very disappointed that the size 4 I ordered was not available and I did not find this out until the day before I was flying to Montana for a wedding. I wore the back-up size 6 which was too big. Also, more than half the hem was down so I had to sew it before I could wear it. If not for these issues I would give it a much higher rating. The bust is small by the way so if you are a D or higher order up but know that the waist will then be roomy and not fitted.
