Shoulder area too large, very thin material, slit is very high, not ideal for a petite frame
I was really excited to wear this dress to my husband's 40th birthday party. I got the size 6 and the 8 as my backup size, which are my normal sizes. Both dresses fit me very poorly. They were too large in the shoulders and caused buckling/bunching in the shoulder and back zipper area. The dress was very tight at the hips/waist, but I could have lived with that if it wasn't for the poor shoulder fit and the cheap/thin material the dress is made from. It's too thin to wear underwear because you can see every line. I hoped to wear shapewear, but that was impossible with this dress. Also the slit is very high, so if I went without underwear there is a good chance my goodies would be on display by simply walking or sitting during the party. Overall, I was very disappointed with this dress and did not wear it.

Lovely color
I generally wear either a 6P or 8P. There were no petite sizes available when I ordered, so I got the 6R and 8R. The 6R fit perfectly. I did wear a boned corset under it to help smooth everything, but it fit really well and I probably didn't really have to do that. The dress was very long on me, so I did have to hold it up when walking. It wasn't a huge issue. Overall it was a nice dress. Not my favorite, but it got the job done at the charity event I was attending.

Perfect fit, very classy, easy to wear
This dress was a perfect fit at the bust, waist, and length. It was super easy to wear because it has short sleeves and you don't have to worry about your bra showing. Overall, I loved this dress and it was great for a formal work event near Christmas.

Perfect pop of color for spring, figure flattering, and easy to wear
My normal size (8P) fit perfectly. The bust was not too tight, the tummy area was very forgiving, the length was perfect, and I got tons of compliments all night. The back is open so I did have to buy a special bra and fashion tape for modesty since I'm not comfortable going braless. Overall, I absolutely loved this dress.

So beautiful, comfortable, and show stopping
I received so many compliments on this gown at the charity gala I attended. It fit well, was comfortable, and very flattering. The only drawback was the length of the dress. It was dragging the floor, even after using temporary hem tape. The hemline kept almost tripping me & getting caught on my shoes and made the evening a bit less enjoyable.

I got many compliments on this classy & sexy dress while attending the American Music Awards!
This dress is TIGHT! Be prepared to show off every curve when you put this on. I'm a petite, thin girl and I'm so glad I followed the advice of other reviewers and purchased Spanx to go under this dress. Without spanx, I looked very lumpy. I purchased the spanx shorts which come all the way up to just beneath your bra and they were perfect. I got so many compliments and this dress is so classy. I wore it to the American Music Awards and had a fabulous time!

Classy, sexy, and comfortable!
In my search for the perfect black tie dress for a charity event, I favorited several dresses and then asked my husband to pick his favorite. He immediately picked out this one because it is form fitting. I was slightly reluctant because I tend to choose more "fit & flare" styles. Also I have a full bust, so I wasn't sure how a halter would look. I am short, so I ordered a 4P and a 6P as the backup size. The 4P was very tight. It would have worked in a pinch, but the 6P was much more flattering. The bust was perfectly supportive and I could *almost* have gone without a bra. A regular strapless bra is perfect under this dress. As for the fit, it was amazing! The fabric is a bit heavy and thicker than most other dresses. This results in a very slimming effect and I looked amazing! My husband and friends were giving me compliments all night long. This dress was super comfortable and classy. I would definitely rent it again for another black tie event.
