Keep looking
The worst feature is the pleats on the chest just do not lay well, and there were creases in this area which i couldn't get out with steaming. There is a padded lining sewn in, and it puckers where it's sewn in. The belt isn't wide enough to cover where the chest meets the skirt, and the extra fabric is visible (I added a belt). The color is fabulous but that's about it. Very disappointing.

I wasn't able to wear this dress unfortunately as it was too small, definitely size up! I order quite a few dresses every year and this was not my usual size. The dress however was very flattering, looked great, though not stretchy.

Breezy and bold
This was such a fun dress to wear and so comfy! It is forgiving of problem areas while still giving shape. The plunging neckline added some sexy, didn't need to wear a bra. I wore sandals, it hit at ankles at 5'7".

Great jumpsuit, the size L gapped in the chest (I'm a C cup), so was a bit annoying dancing. Sequins also scratched arms but that's predictable wearing a sequined dress. I wore to a 70s themed event with ~500 people and still got compliments among the many other sequins and jumpsuit outfits. Fun to wear!

Rent 2 sizes down and look great!
I was surprised by how many strangers made an effort to compliment this dress, as I felt it was nice but simple, but boy people loved it! It's forgiving to many body shapes, you can wear a regular bra, it has pockets. There is less of a difference between the high/low than other cuts I've worn but still looked nice. Listen to the other reviewers, it runs very big, and I was nervous to order 2 sizes down but I'm very glad I did!

So versatile and flowy
Dark floral for the win! Length was perfect with 2.5" heels (I'm 5'7"), and the style was elegant for a formal event, but fun/flowy for less formal. The criss/cross back takes some work to get right, as the tension is what prevents the chest from gaping. Didn't need a bra. Super fun to dance with a lovely twirl.

Winter floral wonderful
This dress was comfortable, flattering, and nabbed some compliments. There was enough padding and support that you can easily go without a bra, but can also hide a strapless if you so desire. The material and cut will definitely work with a variety of body shapes, and is forgiving after a meal! Pockets hid my phone, there was truly no downside!

1920s Perfection
What a unique dress! I was constantly being complimented all night, and the colors in the skirt were beautiful. The mixture of fabrics was lovely (lace, velvet belt, sequined skirt) and period appropriate for my 1920s theme. Dress has little to no stretch and was a bit tough for wide hips, but was comfortable all night with eating and dancing.

Heart the keyhole!
The keyhole on this dress really added a lot is sexy without being overly revealing. I didn't need tape, and the dress is thick enough that I almost didn't need a bra, but opted for cups. If you're pear shaped like me, you may want to size up, as the medium pulled at the hips (but fit nicely on top). Received compliments and head turns on my V-Day date!

Definitely size up, as the other users have mentioned, the waist has no give. Strapless bra worked well, and the off the shoulder straps left plenty of space to move around in comfort. The dress has a bit more color and can pair with a lot of accessories.

Easy dress
This dress worked well for a black tie optional party. Strapless bra worked well, it had pockets which hid my phone, and it was super fast to put on. The length of the regular in the back just hit the floor with my kitten heels which are about an inch, and I'm 5'7".

Elegant and easy
This rental gets 5 stars because of how versatile, classy and easy this dress was! You can wear with regular bra, and it has the snaps to keep the straps hidden in place. There are no zippers, so it is super quick, and a stretch fit that means the size will work for a variety of women. I sized down and glad I did. Loved the assymetry details with the frill spiral in the back.

Almost perfect!
If it were not for the work it took to get this dress ready, it would be 5 star amazing. The v cut and subtle peek-a-boo under the chest means there really aren't any undergarments you can wear. Sorry for the boob shot I posted, but it shows how even a backless strapless bra shows. In the end it took stick cups, as the dress has no support, and double sided tape to pull it off. But on the positive side, once that was finally settled the dress was fantastic! Many compliments, very feminine and fun! I would not recommend this dress for anyone over a C-cup however.

Comfy and elegant
This dress seems like it would fit a variety of body shapes and heights easily. The zipper is INSANELY difficult even with help. Strapless bra needed. This was good to add some variety to holiday dress rotation, but was not a head turner.

As other users have mentioned, the band has no give, however I found for smaller on top/wider hip ladies like myself, I actually had to size down! Open back means braless or backless bra, but I wore to a work party and still felt very comfortable. Cute and simple piece.

Fancy yet casual
Bottom line: Size down, and runs long as well. Received lots of compliments on this dress, and it fit a very casual wedding well. I'm 5'7" and the regular length was still a bit too long with 2" wedges. I also wore the "SM" which is smaller than usual for my RTR size, and really the only discernible difference between the SM and ML was length. The shoulder does creep up while wearing it, but was comfortable, easy to tug back down, and didn't look bad higher up.

Super easy dress! Was able to wear regular strapless bra, and kitten heels (1.5") with the regular length (I'm 5'7"), and had no problem dancing or stepping on the back. The colors and patterns are beautiful and help draw attention away from any problem areas.

Curvy and Comfy
The biggest take away is to size down! This dress definitely runs big, and in a M (my typical size) I had extra room in the bust and waist, plus the tea length hit just a bit low. However in the S this dress was fantastic! Very stretchy and forgiving w/drinking & dinner. Received lots of compliments, and it photographed well.

Gold Sparkle Stands Out
The most important take aways for this dress are to size down & for women my height (5'7") to get the long! I usually wear <2" heels with gowns, and the regular length gowns tend to work better. However, I ended up needing to wear the larger size to get some extra length, as the smaller size, which fit my body better, was way too short. The dress has a lot of stretch, and was very comfy. The gold really stood out at a dark venue, where most of the women were in black gowns/dresses. And in the sunlight, I was like a walking disco ball, scattering light everywhere which was fun. You'll be noticed if you wear this dress!

Form-fitted but forgiving
Dress had just enough sex appeal without being inappropriate for Christmas work party. Great length for tall women. The print is subtle but fun and unique. I did end up wearing spanx, but only because I knew I'd be eating a big dinner, otherwise normal undergarments were fine. This event had hired photographers, and this dress was heavily featured!

This dress was comfortable, but a bit thicker than other neoprene dresses I've rented. The cut at the waist flared a bit too wide which added 5lb in pictures (of which I subsequently didn't take any). Dress is otherwise very forgiving, and I would actually size down for the backup.

This dress was very fun to wear; felt very sexy without being too revealing & the length was great. I was hoping to be able to wear a regular bra because of the back strap, but it is too high (and I tried multiple bras) so a backless bra was needed. This dress is very form fitting, and seamless spanx showed through, so I wasn't able to wear those either. I sized up for my backup, and ended up wearing the bigger size.

The sparkle!
You can wear this with a regular bra, but was not very forgiving in midsection so spanx were required. I'm 5'7" and was wearing 2.5" heels, and it hit just above the floor in a regular length. There is a (very) mini train in back which did touch the ground, but was not a problem at all dancing. This dress just glittered in the low light of the evening, which couldn't be captured in photos.

I wore a regular nude bra with straps and you couldn't tell at all! This dress was very comfortable, and different from what other people were wearing. It's not a head turner, but is lovely and worked well in early Spring despite being a darker color. No cons, the lace was soft and didn't irritate my skin, arms fit well.

Bridal shower perfection
The fit and flare was flattering, and easy to wear. I picked a normal strapless bra which didn't show in the back. This is a simple dress, but with enough nice design features to make it interesting (pockets, criss crossed back straps, frill on skirt). Was not see through, and can accesorize with countless options. Honestly no cons, fit as expected.

Nice winter staple
Dress is very vibrant in person which is a nice contrast. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bust runs a bit large and there is no structure or shape to the bust, so I needed to wear a bra (B-cup) in order to fill out the top and for support. The pockets in the folds hid my cell phone without any bulk, and the thicker fabric was great for winter. This dress was very nice, but not necessarily a head turner or much "wow" factor.

THE BEST
I can not say enough great things about this dress! I've rented plenty from RTR and this one has yielded the most compliments. People were coming up to me from everywhere to comment on this dress; my trip to the bathroom alone won 3 compliments. Some examples included that I looked like I belonged at the Oscars, or that I looked like a model :) The fit between the 8 and 10 were drastically different in my opinion, and I sized up. That being said the boning was comfortable and flattering, there are pockets, and there are several bodice eye/hook closures in the back which meant I could go braless and was well supported. I'm 5'7" and wore 2" heels and still the regular length dragged, which was fine for my event, but I would not recommend this dress for an event with dancing. There is a lot of fabric which makes it great for Winter, but again, easy for people to step on the bottom. If you are a taller lady and are going for ultimate glamour, look no further!

Felt like a celebrity!
This dress received the most compliments award out of all my rentals! It seems simple but the color is amazing and people were drawn to it! I was nervous about the chest cut outs being too low, but I'm so glad I went for it because it was not an issue at all! The dress is styled so that even though these are low, they aren't distracting. If you don't want lines or cup peaking through, strapless cups were a must. I tried a strapless bra and the cups didn't show, but the lines from the bra were very apparent. Even the lines from spanx were apparent so I wasn't able to wear those either. The biggest difference between the medium and large was the shoulder to waist ratio and overall length, so I went with medium so that the cut outs hit where they were supposed to. I wear mediums in regular clothes, but usually have to size up for RTR. Bottom line, major win!

All that sparkle!
This dress was fabulous! It was forgiving over curves and was comfortable to dance in all night. Has a thin lining to help protect your skin from the scratchy sequins, and a loop you can tape/pin your bra strap to on the inside to not damage the dress but avoid bra strap showing due to the wide neck. I fit into both the M and the L no problem, the M was a bit shorter but either could have worked. Definitely do your hair AFTER you put on the dress, as it is a bit of an ordeal, and much easier if you have some assistance. Per usual with RTR, in a room full of awesome dresses people went out of their way to compliment mine!

Best dressed next to the bride!
This dress was gorgeous and people were complementing it all night. I was able to wear a regular bra with it, and the fabric is form fitting but thick and flexible. I was able to dance with heels and had no issue with fabric catching. Biggest complaint was taming the tulle! I think many of the sizes have needed tulle repairs at this point, and there was a LOT of tulle fabric. So much so that the black lace when it arrived at the bottom was almost horizontal flaring out with the dress, which did not have the "mermaid" look. I kept the tulle twisted in a tight knot for pressure the day before, and needed to do a lot of ironing to flatten it before the wedding but it worked. This thankfully also increased the length, as even a long was short with 2.5" heels. Also no black belt, which wasn't needed.

Classy and simple
I chose this dress for my brother's wedding, where it was particularly important not to up-show the bride, and I knew I would be in a ton of family photos so wanted something timeless. This dress fit the bill. However this was not a show stopper etc... and no one was complimenting all night and so on :) CONS: The cut on the top makes bra wearing a nightmare. I ended up wearing strapless cups, as a standard bra is too wide, a razor back shows in the window in the back, and a regular strapless for me at least made the bust area to tight to be comfortable (and I'm not that large up top). I probably could have gotten away with no bra as my sister didn't notice, but the dress is not really supportive enough and there are no cups or hem to help, so dancing would have been a challenge. The bottom of the dress wrinkles in a very strange way as well. It is not a crease that an iron might get out, it appears more like the actual fabric of the dress is worn loose in some areas, and tighter in other areas, creating small irregular waves. Thankfully you can't tell unless you are looking for it so it's not a deal breaker. PROS: Great length, beautiful color especially for Spring/Summer, many different colors in the dress allowing for a variety of jewelry/shoe options. I definitely recommend a bold necklace for this dress. Bottom line, the pictures were great, the dress was fun and classy, but I wouldn't rent this one for another occasion.

Flattering and fun
As everyone states, this dress runs small so size up! Cons: the size 10 straps were way too loose, impossible to wear as the model does without some fashion tape. However the size 8, though it was too small to wear, the straps were shorter and laid much nicer, so I think there is variation depending on the wear/tear of the dress. Pros: Everything else! It looked great, flowed nicely, and was a good length for my height. Just touched the ground barefoot, and was a safe level for dancing in heels. Was supportive to wear without bra, and looked much nicer without one. Unfortunately due to a major mishap (left at home while traveling for a wedding!) I was not able to actually wear the dress to my event and therefore have no pictures, however it was very flattering and fun.
