This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I was very pleased with how it went! This dress had a unique fabric I was little hesitant about, but, I gave it a shot and was so glad I did. I got a lot of compliments. I typically wear a size 12 dress and have a broad ribcage, but the large here was a little big on me and I could have honestly gone down a size. The fabric is very forgiving while still looking structured and put together. I loved the arm details and felt that it made me less self conscious about my broad shoulders. Loved it!


The dress arrived in perfect condition. I knew from the other reviews that it ran large so I ordered a size down as my second option and that ended up being the dress I wore. Super comfortable dress, stunning design, tons of compliments all night. So glad this was my first RTR experience, definitely using RTR again!

So comfy and forgiving. I am rather chesty and the XS worked great. I usually wear a size 4 pant but 8 shirt so the stretch was good for up top! Lots of compliments and enjoyed wearing it very much. It is a slightly heavier fabric so if it were going to be super humid might not be awesome. 

I really loved this dress. Reading the comments I was worried it would be too big but the xs was perfect. I think the dress runs true to size. The material is thick and has stretch. Beautiful pattern and the sleeves add some extra flare. 

The dress was very appropriate for the wedding- not too revealing but still flattering. It definitely clings to your curves. I ordered a Medium and XL as they ran out of Larges for rent. The Medium was a little tight but the XL was like a tent- a Large would have been perfect. But the Medium did it's job! I liked how stretchy the material was. I am 5'2" and busty but it still worked well. I can't wait to use RTR again!

I was not expecting to love this dress as much as I did.  It was so comfortable and flattering.   The length was great as it was a little chilly out.  I wasn't sure about the sleeves but they ended up being super cute and easy to move in.  I'd definitely rent this again.

100% size down!! This dress is so comfortable, super stretchy, great length, and beautiful color!

I rented several dresses for engagement pictures and RTR sent me this dress as a replacement for a dress I had chosen that could not be delivered and boy am I glad they did. I wasn't even going to try it on at first because it wasn't one of the dresses I had chosen but I thought why not and I immediately fell in love. It is amazing! The fabric is unique, has great stretch, I was able to wear the small and still had plenty of room when I'm usually a M/L. The colors are vibrant and the ruffle sleeves are romantic and fun. If you are an hourglass shape like me it definitely shows off the curves in the best way possible. I can't believe I got this dress completely by accident and it ended up stealing the show. Probably ranks up here as one of my favorite dresses of all time!

Rented this for a Kentucky Derby themed charity event! The overall fit was great and the dress itself was very easy to wear!! Loved the colors of this dress for a Spring event!! Got lots of compliments!!

Wore this for a Havana themed fundraiser. The fit was amazing! Glad I read the other reviews and ordered a size down because had I gotten the large it would have been too big. The biggest part is really the arms as it's off the shoulder and bed t loose. But it worked! Would rent this again. 

The dress definitely runs a little big. I ordered this dress twice. The first time (pictured) I wore the S, and the next time I wore the XS. I've recently gained weight and am mostly wearing size 8, so I was surprised to fit so comfortably in the XS, but the stretchy material made this fit like a dream. I'm 5'1" and it was a lot longer on me than the model, but it was such a fun dress to wear and fit the Havana Nights theme of both parties really well. I loved this dress so much I scoured the internet and luckily was able to purchase it.

As everyone states, the dress does run large. I usually wear a med/large and ended up wearing the small. It is incredibly comfortable and provides just the right amount of color without being too obnoxious. 

I wore this to a wedding, felt comfortable and pretty in it all night. It fitted well, loved the color and pattern.

Wore this for my anniversary dinner in the city and it was great. It's SUPER STRETCHY, and even the XS was a bit big to me. This made it so comfy to eat dinner AND desert without the fear of thinking my dress would bust. The pattern is loud and makes you stand out. My boyfriend said that some people in the restaurant thought I was someone important....soo yeah. Haha

Loved wearing this dress! Stretchy material made it so easy for maneuvering while emceeing an event. I will say, it was so stretchy, I could've worn an XS for a more snug fit, as I still had room in the bust area. Great floral and ideal for a festive occasion! 

I rented this for my little sisters bridal shower and it   was everything. It's a scuba type material so it's thick, smooth, and stretchy. It was perfect for me to run around and perform all of my Maid of Honor duties the morning of the shower, then throw on my heels and look fabulous for the rest of party (no wrinkles!). The other reviews mentioned that the sleeves were strange, but I saw no issue in them at all. This dress was snug, but helped smooth out lumps into curves, and I could easily wear a regular strapless bra. It was incredibly comfortable, the colors were gorgeous, and I got compliments the whole day. Definitely recommend. 

The top section ran a little larger than expected, but I was able to manage it. Material is very soft and stretchy. Not too tight, gives you enough room to move around. Great Dress

This dress was amazing. It was super comfortable and fits so nicely. The stretchy material and the pattern are very forgiving. I got lots of compliments and felt really great in it. I honestly wish I could keep it because I would wear it all the time. It does run really big, though, so I ended up wearing the small and I'm usually a medium/large. 

It does run slightly large but the material is hugging and form fitting it still fits well and gives you more wiggle room while still holding you in with the thicker fabric. Wouldn't recommend for a hot outdoor wedding, did get quite warm but would recommend for all else. 

Definitely could move and dance in this dress, it's like bathing suit material so it's stretchy and comfortable, especially in a humid area for a wedding. Was a bit loose but didn't feel like I had to suck in all night.

I was pretty nervous, as I usually don't wear this cut of dress, but it worked out great!  I wore a M, which is my typically size.  Only had to pin back the straps, as they were a bit loose.  Beautiful pattern and comfortable fabric.  Great for a spring/summer wedding.  



To say I love this dress would be the understatement of the year. It fits perfect. Very comfy material. Print is fun. I got compliments from everyone: old ladies, married men, my team. My employee even told me she was going to buy it for me if I didn't. So I bought my first rental off RTR and I'm stoked 

This dressed made me feel super sexy! The off the shoulder sleeve hung a little too low on my arm (to my elbow) so I used fashion tape to hold it up higher on my arm. I think you'd have to be taller with longer limbs for the sleeves to fall in the perfect spot. Overall, a great dress with a good amount of stretch. I wore a strapless bra and the girls stayed in place! 

I typically wear a small and chose the XS based on the reviews and it fit perfectly. I received so many compliments. It was the perfect dress for a Havana nights party. 

I really enjoyed this dress! I would definitely order a size down from what you normally wear.  I usually go with a L or XL and ordered the M and L and ended up wearing the M.  The material is kind of funky, kind of felt like scuba diving material but it was very comfortable! Got compliments all night long! Wore it to a Kentucky Derby party. I liked the length on it, it hit just under the knee for a classic look however the ruffle and print made it king of edgy. Really liked wearing it!

Such a comfortable dress and got so many compliments! I usually stay away from more form fitting styles but this dress was great!

This was my first RTR and I LOVED this dress! Based on the other reviews I ordered a size down and got an XS and it fit great! Received tons of compliments! Super comfortable fabric!

The dress was a little bigger than expected but the M fit like a dream! It was also super comfortable! Everyone told me that it looked great on and wanted to know where I got it from. Will be trying to purchase this dress when it goes on sale in the future. I cannot recommend it enough! 

The colors in this dress are gorgeous. The material is super comfy!  I got compliments all night!  

The fit is large and the material is soft. The only negative thing I can say is that the side fall down and show side boob. 

I would rent this again but only for vacation and the weekend. 

This was my back up dress that I wore because thee other dress had a broken zipper. It is very stretchy material - I’m usually a large but th medium fit perfectly. It was perfect for a wedding - very comfortable for the whole night! 

Lots of give in this dress for curvy girls.  Runs big.  I have to wear a bra so strapless worked well.  Shape-wear a must.  Strangely, the seam in the center of the back kept shifting to the side so constantly pulling it straight in the back.  Great color of the fabric.

Fabric is really thick and the pattern is pretty, but as other reviewers have said it runs large, particularly up top under the arms. Not wearable. 

I listened to reviews that it ran large and ordered an XS even at 32 weeks preggo! It fit nicely around my belly - a little snug with the zip in the back but otherwise fit well. Got lots of compliments. The pattern is flattering for any imperfection as it hides it easily, and the material is super stretchy. Definitely size down.  

This dress has beautiful colors and the stretchy material makes it very comfortable. The top does run large in the chest area but the top detail and arms hide it well. I received lots of complements for this dress that put me a little bit outside my comfort zone.

pic shows the dress with a beautiful satin blue liner. This dress is overall ok but is much less casual without liner.  Someone mentioned it looks a little cheap and I agree. Maybe suitable for a backyard party. The dress runs big and has a lot of stretch. 

I am short-waisted so I had to do a bit of quick tailoring to take about an inch off the shoulder straps and raise the top up so it fit properly. I whipped out a needle and thread and did a quick stick to alter the shoulder straps, then removed it after my event. The fabric was stretchy, which made it comfortable to wear, but it also got a little baggy by the end of the day. If, like me, you are on the edge of a size - size down and not up. 

I completely ignored the reviews. THIS DRESS RUNS BIG! I'm normally a medium/size 10 and the top was hanging off. I called and they sent me Xs and S overnight. I ended up wearing the small but the xs May have felt better on top. I'm a 36 B but I have hips so the small worked out better. I was constantly shimmying to pull the dress down but it worked and felt nice. 

This dress ran a bit large, so I'm glad I went down a size for my backup! I got a lot of compliments about this dress, it was a hit at my cousin's wedding. I was not expecting the scuba material, but I liked that it was a bit stretchy and form-fitting without being inappropriate for a family event. There was a bit of pilling on the dress, and the material that goes from the front and makes the sleeves was not hemmed so there was some slight fraying along the bottom edge. This was not super noticeable unless looked at very up close. The sleeves were a bit looser and longer than I was anticipating, but they still looked cute and were not restrictive to my movements at all. I was able to dance and have a good time no problem all night. Overall I liked this dress and how it fit, but I wouldn't purchase it at the full retail price.

I love this dress! The fabric is stretchy and comfortable, and the sleeves make it really special. My only complaint is the fit in the bust wasn't quite right, and gaped on the sides. I had to use safety pins to bring it in on both sides.

Great stretch which allowed me to wear size S when most of the time I wear a M. A bit longer than I would've liked but fine since I wore high platform shoes. Wore a strapless bra and used fashion tape to keep the sleeves from falling to low. 

Rented this dress for a friends wedding. Colors on dress are really vibrant and prettier in person than in pictures. This dress runs pretty big so I would size down. Material is really stretchy which is helpful for curvy girls! The print and material is very flattering I didn't need to wear spanx (yay) bc it covered so well

This dress was extremely comfortable. The Davis was soft and stretchy. I received lots of compliments throughout the night. I don't think it necessarily runs large, rather the rental I received was a little stretched out (especially near the armpits). Would rent again. 

Very fun pattern and funky sleeves make this dress EXTRA. Believe the reviews when we say this dress runs large. I wore a small and had wiggle room to spare, and I am usually a medium and sometimes large. The straps were a bit too long so I pinned them in the back so the neckline hit higher and there wasn't extra material in the chest area. The cut shows off shoulders and booty, and flatters an hourglass figure.

I wore this to a daytime wedding and was glad that it had stretchy fabric. It was really comfortable and forgiving. The sleeves however were too big but manageable. 

This runs very large. Because the material is so stretchy I was able to wear an XS and I'm usually a medium in most dresses. I loved it, it felt very Miami in the 50's Chic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the bottom half of the dress was a little pilly. Otherwise, super comfy and was great to wear all night for the summer wedding. 

I agree with other reviewers: this dress does run large. I usually wear a size small but wore an extra small instead. I found that the top of the size small was very loose. Because I have bigger hips and a bigger butt, I did feel like the bottom was a little tight. Overall, this was a beautiful dress and I was so sad that I had to return it. I wore it to my birthday dinner and everyone loved it. It was very figure-flattering (I am pear-shaped).  It was stretchy as well. I was worried that since I'm petite (5'1"), that it would be too long on me but it looked great!
