I loved this dress and so did everyone else. I’m usually a size 4 or 6 and I wore the 6 in this dress as the lace sleeves were restricting. I couldn't zip it all the way up by myself because when I reached back to grab the zipper I could hear the mesh in the elbow tear a little, so needless to say I got spooked and had my man zip me in. Overall the dress was super comfortable and I didnt have to think about it very much all night. The red is gorgeous and definitely a fun alternative to a classic cocktail dress for a holiday party.

Didn't end up wearing this number because I went with another choice. I’m typically a size 4 (small on top, booty on bottom) but the size 2L fit better with less gapping in the material around the waist and hips. I’m small busted, so the area under the arm without the strap could have been a little tighter, but I think wearing a strapless bra would have helped. I am 5'7" and refuse ro wear a heel shorter than 4 inches; this dress is qith 4 inch heels and it is still skimming the floor, which for me, was perfect. Would rent again to actually wear next time!

Fit is TIGHT. I rented another Elizabeth and James dress with one cut out and the size 6 was perfect - this one felt slightly tighter but that may because I was a little more conscious of the two cutouts and remembering to have good posture. I normally wear a size 4, but always size up with E&J. I think the 8 would have been more forgiving, but I was looking for body-con and didn't mind the ab workout/sucking in throughout the night. Bra isn't needed; I wore a sticky bra (backless/strapless) because I'm v v small chested and needed SOMEthing, but definitely could have gone without. Material is thick enough where nipples shouldn't be an issue. Side note: the neckline straps look white in many photos but were actually a dusty pink, so I wore shoes to match that. Highly recommend - Elizabeth and James is my FAVE.

This dress was gorgeous, I wish I could have kept it. The fabric is thick so it lays beautifully on the body. I am 5'7" with an athletic build (small chest, 34smallB - and a thick lower half) and the dress fit me like a glove. My shoulders are a little on the broad side, so I had to make sure that I let the dress sit a little higher on my chest/arms so the top part of the dress wasn't restrictive. I would think a larger bust would require a size up - so keep this in mind. I am small chested and didn't wear a bra/etc., and was safe with the thick fabric. I wore this dress to a bridal shower and received a ton of compliments; most notably from the best man (my boyfriend) and the groom - they loved the dress. It's classy but still sexy, and obviously pockets make everyone happy. Highly recommend!

This dress is beautiful. The colors pop even more in person which were a great compliment to my end-of-summer tan. I wore this to a baby shower and while it was a bit shorter than what I would normally wear, the high neckline and tasteful cut keep it classy. I'm a small 34B cup and didn't wear a bra. I meant to pack one (you can fit one under the dress if you're small like me!), but ended up forgetting it at home. The dress fits true to size which was great because they didn't have a backup size for me on my selected dates. I have a small upper body (size 2-4, small/extra small) and a thick lower body (god bless a booty! Size 2/4/6 depending on the bottoms) and the 4 was perfect. Cinched in my waist and was comfortable over my bum and thighs. Highly recommend this dress, I received a ton of compliments.
