I rented this for my husband's law firm's Christmas party, which was a cocktail event. It definitely stood out because of the color. Overall the fit was just OK, there was some weird gapping/folding around the waist because the dress is surprisingly not stretchy at all. I almost did not wear it, but my husband thought it looked fine.

I was really excited about this dress because it is so unique, but ended up not loving it on me. First, could NOT get the dress over my hips and had to pull it down over my head. I'm normally a 2/4 and even the 6 would not come up over my hips. That said, I had plenty of room up top once it was on, so I would have definitely worn the 4 over the 6. Length was right for me, I'm 5'7" and ordered the regular. Just something about the fit was not super flattering, can't exactly put my finger on it.

I ordered this and another dress for a November wedding and ended up wearing the other one. I really liked this one, but thought it was just a little too conservative for the affair (turns out I was wrong and should have worn it, haha). It is super unique and I will definitely consider ordering it again if I get the opportunity. Fit was true to size for me, I typically wear a 2 or 4 and am 5'7", 135lbs, athletic figure.

Rented this for a formal-ish winter wedding and loved it. I really liked the neck and lace overlay in particular. My only gripe was that the slip was SO short, it hardly covered my butt and made me a bit self-conscious. Maybe the small would have been better, but there was definitely plenty of fabric to go around otherwise and I wouldn't have wanted more anywhere else. I wore short black spanx underneath and it was fine in the end. For reference, I am 5'7", 135lbs, athletic figure, bra size 32D. I typically wear a 2 on top and 4 on bottom.

I'm 5'7", 135lbs, athletic figure, bra size 32D . I typically wear size 2 on top, size 4 on bottom. The 2 fit nicely, especially because you can tighten as much as you like with the straps in the back. I have a pretty small rib cage/waist and even had a bit of room in the back zipper area. I definitely did not think it was overly poofy because of the lining as some other reviewers have said! It hung nicely IMO. My only issues with the dress were the length and that it was kind of uncomfortable to sit down in; the lining was so short that my legs/right under my butt were on the lacy fabric when I sat and it rubbed quite a bit. It was almost too long on me with heels, even for a more conservative event. If you're shorter than 5'7" I'd say it may be too long!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this. I was looking for something different and fun for my law school event and this was exactly it. The fit is super sexy and the fabric is really thick and smooths you out nicely (sorry for the bad photo, didn't actually get another one where you can see the full dress that night). My only issue was that for both sizes (even while the dress was off) you could really see the reinforced stitching all around the slit. I know why it has to be there, but I was a little disappointed that it was so obvious. I ended up wearing the 4 anyway because it wasn't any less visible in the 6 and I have a smaller waist/chest. I'm 5'7", 140lbs, 32DD bust.

I'm 5'7", 140lbs, with a 32D chest. Overall I liked this dress! The fit was fine, I have a small waist (compared to my hips) so it felt like there was a little extra fabric there but it was not too noticeable. I also felt like it stretched out a bit in the hips over time which resulted in some unflattering folds of fabric, and I could never quite get the tulle slip part to stay under! Lastly, I felt a little too matronly in the dress for my age, but that's my fault for ordering such a conservative look.
