It fit fine on my waist but too loose by my hips. I think it’s perfect if you have curvy hips.

A bit too puffy
I got a medium, but should've gotten the small. It was too loose on me. The layers make the dress too puffy, which can add some pounds. It's a cute dress, just not for me.
