I think this dress runs small. It did fit just right but barely. No room for error. I had to wear the bigger selected size. However it was beautiful and I received many compliments. The bottom turned up a little but I wasn’t bothered by it.

Loved the detailed back, the flare at the bottom, and the pockets. It would be the perfect dress to wear at a holiday party. Fit perfectly for me everywhere but the rib cage where the dress was a bit too tight. I had hoped to go swing dancing in it, but it's too restrictive and too formal. 

This was an absolutely gorgeous dress--loved the fabric, the open back and the pockets! I wore it to a holiday party and received many compliments. It was so comfortable and I danced all night long. Highly recommend. Fit true to size and was very flattering.

Beautiful dress and back is amazing. Unfort had to send back since couldn't get the hem lay lay flat. Super disappointed. Dress size is true to size.

The size 6 fitted nearly perfectly. Pockets make it flirty and fun. My backup size had the same skirt issue as other people mentioned. I'm not sure if it's wire or another material, but it just wouldn't bend back in the appropriate way. Thanks fully, the size I wore had no issues. 

Flattering silhouette with gorgeous lace details and pockets. I needed help with the multiple clasps, but it was not difficult to wear. Would highly recommend!

This phenomenal dress was confidence boosting and so comfortable! The photo is from when I was deciding if I could get away with not wearing a bra to take full advantage of the gorgeous lace back. I've never skipped a bra, but the thick fabric and supportive fit gave me the confidence to do so! The lace is forgivingly flattering, the color's a knockout, and the front is just as stunning as the back. I danced the night away and got tons of compliments, even from strangers! Size up for a big bust.

I carry weight in the stomach.  12 was slightly too tight .  14 fit perfect.  The hem was weird Bc stiff but made dress have great shape .  Back is see thru so did t wear a bra others posted wearing backless bra.  Overall loved dress-  it had pockets !

Loved the dress, giving it a 4 as one of the seams wasn't in tact and I had to see it at the event.  I'm thankful where the event was held had sewing kits.  

This dress was true to size. The material is thicker, but I did not notice an issue with the hem flipping up like some other reviews I read. The best feature of this dress is clearly the back. The open back with the intricate floral, lace detail was so lovely and feminine. I ended up not wearing this dress for the formal Christmas party I went to because I went with another dress I had rented. I would rent this one again, though, particularly for a fall, formal event or wedding.

Wore this dress to a work event. Very beautiful dress with lovely back. 

Great thick material, back is beautiful. Don't know if it's just the cut, but it poofs out at the bottom a bit which made me think it's hemmed weird or someone altered the dress. Still a good fit but just so you know

2 a bit roomy on me. 0 would be perfect!  Rented this for a big formal event but decided I liked a new dress better. Wore  to a different cocktail party.  It's very beautifu just been around a while but you wouldn't know it from the perfection of the embroidery and construction. The bottom of the dress has plastic or something sewn into the hem & a heavier thicker material.  Dress does stick out as it does not fall against your legs. 

I loved everything about this dress for a holiday cocktail party.  Some fun details: the lace in the back is unlined; there are snaps on the side that secure lace over the zipper.  Overall the dress is slim fitting and was a perfect cocktail length for me at 5'2".  Highly recommend for petites who typically fit an XXS or 00.

Perfection.  Amazing quality and color.  Hem was a bit tangled but it added volume in a nice way.  Snaps were hard to open/close but they were very well constructed.  Rave reviews for the dress. 

I rented this dress for a fancy holiday party, and it was perfect! I've never gotten so many compliments on anything I've worn - multiple people even asked where I got the dress! It fit beautifully, although the zipper was tough (probably need a buddy to help zip). The pictures don't do it justice. And there are pockets! I wish I could keep this dress. I definitely plan to rent it again. 

I wore this to the Christmas party my husband and I host. So many compliments! Someone told me I look like I own the party! However, the material inside the weighted hemline was crinkled and causing it to keep flipping up. I had to pin it down. 

Measurements in the photo: 5'2" 36x26x36 and the 4 was snug in the waist but still wore because it fit as long as I didn't allow myself any food that'd made me bloat :)

Thanks to a very receptive customer service, I got my back up dress in the nick of time! This was not my first choice for the photo shoot but luckily they were able replace and overnight this one. The details on the dress are wonderful. The back design is great. The material of the dress was thick enough to go without a bra. 

I typically wear size 12 dress and tops (38C) with a short torso. Couldn't get the 12 zipped. Thank gawd I ordered the back up size 14. 

Received several compliments on the color and style. Though other reviewers mentioned wearing backless bras, I bought an inexpensive red bralette from Target and it did the trick! Others couldn't even tell. And did I mention the pockets!! 

I'm 5'6 and a half, 150 lbs, 30 waist, 39.5 hips and 36D. This dress was just okay!  I did not like the material/fabric.  It creased when sitting and standing. I also felt like the dress was more boxy than A-line. Would not rent again. However, I did get compliments on the dress though! I really loved the colors and details. Just the fit was not for me.

Dress fit well.  Wore my own bra which is nice for a large busted woman.  Don't get dressed alone!!!!  Husband was needed to zip and snap me up (many many snaps).  Loved the color.  Hem on back up dress was not okay!!!!!  Was wonky.

The dress is spot clean only. But I think it needs a dry cleaning.

I love red and had at least one compliment on the color. The see through/lace back is neat and received compliments on this as well. Comfortable and as someone else mentioned you can eat and dance in it w no problems lol. Honestly not sure on sizing. I have worn two size 12s off here (different labels) where size 10 was too small. This one had option for 14 so I didn't get the 10 but thinking I might have been able to wear a 10 this time especially w no bra and I think I lost a little weight. I didn't realize this dress had snaps til already wearing it and when I did I couldn't unsnap them. Overall a great experience though!

The back of this dress is fantastic. Ideally worn without a bra. I put some weight on recently so  i am about 160lbs and i wore the size8

This dress was beautiful, but the RTR description is not correct. It says you can wear it with any standard bra, so iI thought the back was fully lined and just appeared backless, but that is not the case. Its just lace, so you need a backless bra which I luckily happened to have. I rented it for my work Holiday party and didn't think a backless dress was appropriate, so I was a little uncomfortable all night. Also, the description says its knee length on a 5'6 model, but I'm 5'7 and its definitely mid-thigh which was another issue for a work party. Lastly, it has a thin piece of plastic about 2 inches wide all the way around the hem I guess to give it some structure, but mine arrived creased so the dress laid really weird all night. Overall, it is a gorgeous dress but I wish the description had been more accurate ans I probably wouldnt have fotten it for this particular event. 

The fit and length were perfect. The back of the dress was gorgeous. Got compliments all night.  Zipper was a bit tricky but it was fine. 

I always love ML dresses and rent them quite frequently for special occasions. I wore this for a friends wedding and it was beautiful. I rented a 4 and a 6 but wore the 6; the 4 was tight in the chest for me. The back of the dress is a bit sheer and I know some reviewers had mentioned going braless but I wore a nude bra and didnt think it showed too much.  The dress was very comfortable and even had pockets ;)

Pros: the dress fit nicely, professional, lace back is a nice touch
Cons: the zipper is broken about halfway up (it isn’t a sizing issue) - it took four people to help me zip it up and even my back up size had the same problem; the bottom of the dress tends to flap up and isn’t appealing 

The bottom of the dress has a thick band, to keep the bottom rounded out but when the dress arrived it was severly twisted which did not allow the dress to be worn properly. I spent hours w an iron and working on it to straighten it out. The zipper on the side of the dress was also not functioning well. The top lace overlay that snaps was ripped and tge elastic under it had been visibily stretched. The dress presented itself very well and I received many compliments but it was a nightmare to make it wearable.

The details of this dress are simply beautiful! The lace detailing on the front and back are gorgeous. I wore this to my brother-in-law's wedding and received many compliments. The back of this dress is see-through, so it's best not to wear a bra (or use a backless bra). I had planned on wearing the size 6, but because I didn't wear a bra, I sized down to the 4 in order to keep everything in place :) It was fitted but comfortable enough even to sit in. I took off one star because the bottom of this dress was strange - a stiff band along the bottom of the dress seemed to be warped, giving it an awkward shape. It didn't bother me enough to not wear the dress, and I don't think anyone else really noticed it.

This dress is gorgeous!  Definitely true to size.  The lace back (not pictured) was super beautiful.  Wore it on an unexpectedly chilly night, but still loved it!  

No give because of the material, so I went with the larger size.  Color and back are really special! Got lots of compliments!

This was a back up look so I only got it in one size-thank goodness it was true to size and the 6 fit me perfectly. It's a backless dress but I'm small busted so I just didn't wear a bra and it was fine. It's so pretty and it has pockets and I got a ton of compliments. The color is super vibrant and even at an event where everyone was wearing red, mine really stood out!

I liked the dress a lot and received a lot of compliment. I am 130lbs, 5'9" and size 2 worked ok.  The fit was not ideal and part of the dress around my waist - especially in the back was sticking out a bit  - I tried size 0 and it was way too small. I loved the pockets and keeping my hands in them helped to conceal the sticking out material :)

My original size 0 was sold out and I ended up receiving my back up size 2, plus two other dresses of a similar red lace look. The 2 seems to fit as a "normal" size 2. It was a little baggy in the skirt area but otherwise fine for me. The red leaf design is enchanting and begs for compliments. I had my heart set on wearing it, so I'm glad it worked out w/ the 2. Very comfortable. And a plus - no bra needed. I paired with beige leather sandals, much like the photo in the listing. 

Received many compliments-perfect for a fall wedding. Classic style with fun lace open back (need backless bra). Has pockets!!
