I didn't wear this item. I expected this item to be short, but not nearly as short as it was. Even a size up, this dress was snug in the thighs and hiked up too easily. It also looked a little worse for wear, so it's possible that too many dry cleanings have caused shrinking.

I didn't wear this item because it arrived with the hole in it. The fit is snug through the hips, even with a size up. I really liked the unique fabric, but would not rent again.

I wore this dress for a NYE house party -- at my own house, which meant I got to run around barefoot most of the time. It was obviously long without heels, but would have been fine with a 3ish inch heel. The gathering at the waist is really gorgeous in person, and I found the dress quite easy to wear overall--no strap adjustments or worries about wardrobe malfunctions. My usual size 6 would have worked, but I ended up taking the 8 because it was more comfortable. There did not seem to be a lot of difference between sizes.
