Being called out as "glamorous" at my daughters college commencement ceremony.
I wanted to buy this dress. In fact, I looked it up online to purchase it but it's currently sold out at the retailer. The fabric is very thick and stretchy with a lot of hug. It's a dream to wear and so sophisticated! It is thick and lined but I found a simple slip helped to smooth it even more. I wore a standard bra. Can't say enough good things about this dress! It could be worn to so many events-work, weddings, cocktail, cruises, dinner, etc. My daughter told me to do whatever it took to buy it! :)

Wearing a dress completely unique to the fashion show my daughter walked in.
Completely comfortable and easy to wear. Lightweight fabric but with good coverage and weight. The flowers are soft pink and white with lime green foliage.

This dress was a dream! Gorgeous fabric with multi dimensional color and texture. So interesting to look at. People just couldn't stop staring at this dress! So many compliments! The pockets were fabulous. I wore the extra length with a 2 inch heel. Absolutely loved this dress. Would easily wear/rent again!

Formal dress with pockets!
My daughter and I rented our dresses from RTR for a formal work event with an Academy Awards theme. My daughter was the awards girl who gave out the trophy awards so we needed her to be all glitter and glam. So thankful for Extra length options as she is 6" and I am 5'10". I wore a 2 inch heel. Loved the pockets , unusual sequins on the bodice and cut out on the back that were fancy but not too revealing for a work event. Many compliments received on both dresses!

Very versatile piece.
I wear a lot of quality costume jewelry so I'm rather picky. I felt this necklace appeared a little too plasticky. It didn't have the weight one would expect for a piece this large. But I went with it anyway for an evening event and I received lots of compliments on it. Under bright lights it definitely sparkled. I do love that you could wear it with any color underneath and the color would show through the stones.

Finding out what RTR's customer service is all about! Guess what? It's about you! :)
While I wanted to love this dress, I was disappointed the moment I put it on. It looked very used with lots of pilling and worn areas. The hemline was completely crumpled and wavy-not at all smooth. It just looked tired. I actually liked the heavy textured fabric, color and style. I wouldn't mind trying to rent a newer version again sometime. Keep in mind-I am 5' 10" and it was too long on me. So don't order extra length if you are tall unless you are planning on wearing very high heels. However in this disappointment I debated on whether to call customer service as my event was the next evening and I was leaving to stay overnight at my daughter's apartment as she was walking in Seattle Fashion Week the next day. I decided to call to let them know the shape of the dress, not expecting they could do much to help on such short notice. Well I was wrong! RTR's customer service was stellar! First they apologized for the dress I received. Then they overnighted me 2 different dresses to my daughters apartment, for no extra charge, clear across country and I had them by NOON that next day!!! Customer service makes or breaks a company. RTR has got it right! Turned my frown upside down! :)

Getting to try on this dress for a future rental!
While my family wanted me to wear this dress to Seattle Fashion Week's final night, in the end I went with the Carmen Marc Valvo citronella dress as it just fit better and was more fun. This dress was gorgeous on but the top was a bit too tight to be comfortable wearing it for many hours. It might run just a touch small. I don't doubt that I will size up next time and rent this gown in the future though as it is gorgeous !

Stood out in this dress and color!
The dress just felt fun from the moment I tried it on! The top was a bit tight but I am larger breasted. The waist was too big as I am definitely hourglass with a smaller waist so I decided to add a tiny blue belt to help accentuate my waist. The color is gorgeous and stands out beautifully. I loved the texture of the fabric. I was very comfortable. Lots of compliments received! I wore this to Seattle Fashion Week's 2015 final night.

The dress is a dream to wear. Nicely layered. Thick but not heavy fabric. Had good weight and soft feel to it. V back was beautiful. Nude undergarments and your set to go! I loved this dress. Everyone wanted my outfit. I was a RTR evangelist!

I loved this dress. It was so comfortable! I felt very elegant. No special undergarments required.
Tall was still too short and it didn't quite hit my waist where it should have but I always have that issue with dresses as my torso is extremely long. I wore a 3" heel and I was fine with the length as the back of the dress has extra length which is very pretty as it trails a bit behind you. Just be careful as you can easily get your heel caught in the back as you walk. I wore this for Metropolitan Fashion Week's black tie fashion show in Seattle. It was completely unique!
