I usually wear a 2 or 4 and the 4 fit well here. The ribbon detail at the waist has zero give and falls over lower ribcage, so size up for breathing purposes :) I am 5’9” and needed the long length to wear heels. Wore this to a military ball and it was great. Looks classy and not at all trashy. Comfortable, covers everything, can wear your normal underwear. Easy breezy. Only complaint (and it was pretty minor) was that my heels tended to catch on the lace in the back. Once I figured out how to walk and keep that from happening, it wasn’t a big deal. 

This was a no fuss dress, just zip it up and go. It was comfy, easy to move in, fit just right.

Tried but didn’t wear. Was a lovely fit and felt great in it. Perfect length etc but was for a black tie event and didn’t quite fit the bill.

I’ve worn this dress for a wedding, graduation, and homecoming dance. It’s elegant and modest, making it perfect for any formal affair such as a wedding or a professional event at work. I’m 5’6 and 125lbs, I found the size 2L to fit best (although 2R and 4R have both been suitable backups that fit well). This dress will make you feel like a million bucks!

This dress is well-designed and in-style. I love it except for the easy-to-wrinkle upper body. Understand the dress has two layers, outside lace and inside one-piece dress. However, just because it's one piece inside, the upper side is very easy to get wrinkles, which you have to adjust very frequently. 

This dress was really beautiful, and felt very elegant for a party. But because of the light fabric, shorter hem and cut of the top, it didn’t feel as formal to me. I do think it looked better than my photo shows- the angle isn’t great. This was a backup to a backup dress for a black tie wedding, so I didn’t end up wearing it. But for the right occasion I would absolutely rent and wear it. One star deducted only because the model photo shows a longer length and that’s not what I got. I’d need a long length to hit the floor and up the formality level. 

I absolutely loved this dress, and my husband did also.  I wore it to a military formal dinner at the Army/Navy club in D.C. It was true to size I thought (though fitted through the torso area- I probably could have worn the size 2 a bit more comfortably), and with heels the length was perfect.  Very elegant, yet easy to wear as material was not bulky and no need for special undergarments with the cap sleeves, etc. I got more than a few compliments and will definitely rent this one again! Highly recommend! 

I usually wear a size 4 but went with the 6 for this dress. The 4 would’ve looked good and very fitted but I wanted to be comfortable. I wore 2.5 inch shoes and it was about an inch or 2 off the ground. 

I am typically a 6/8 but got the 8L and it was a tight fit at my natural waist/lower rib cage. I ordered the 10 to try it, and it was still tight in that area, but gave more room in the shoulders and back which wasn’t necessary so I wore the 8 for my event. 
Love the design, it is slim, classy, and elegant. It was a black and white gala, and the white lace is definitely more cream than bright white, but it still worked. For length, it was almost to the floor with no shoes on.

Perfect for a Black tie wedding near the beach. Comfortable, warm, worked with my shoes. Got lots of compliments throughout the night. Probably could've gone with 10R  lengthwise, but the 10L looked really good as well. Very happy with this dress.

The dress fit well and did not accentuate my belly and love handles or even curvy hips and thighs, which is saying something for a straight dress. It worked well, was lovely and modest and I will probably wear it again. 
It just is a little blah, or as my daughter says "meh."

Loved this dress and wish I could have worn it for the wedding, but it was too tight in the chest area. Would have sized up to a 10, but it wasn't in stock at the time. Loved everything else about it otherwise. Fit around the waist was comfortable and very flattering! 

Very elegant, light weight and comfortable! My husband also like it ! It's a bit long for me (5'3) but with high heel it's ok 

Beautiful. But it was too tight in the Chest area. Otherwise it was lovely. I could have ordered a bigger size but had other options. 

It's not elaborate. soft lace fabric, elastic, so it's easier to put. cute. 

I should have sized down to an 8. I'm only 5'2" and I have to wear the tallest shoes I have to make sure I wasn't stepping/tripping on it. Beautiful and comfortable dress. Got many complements on it! 

I would buy it if I could. It is light weight and comfortable. Runs true to size, maybe a tad large if anything. Love it! 

I rented this as a back up dress and didn't think that I would like it bc it seemed plain. Tried it on and fell in love with it! It was snug in all the right places!

I wore this dress for a gala fundraiser, and it did not disappoint.  The bodice was a tad big, but the 10R zipper did not lie flat, so I went with the larger size.

I am 5'0", and I wore 4 1/2" platform heels.  Without them, it would have dragged the floor.  While the heels were uncomfortable, the dress was not.  It was great all night - no issues, even after dinner and drinks.  This dress was easy to move in and hid my figure challenges.  Would definitely rent again.

Perfect fit! I got so many compliments. I think it looks best if you have a fuller bust to give the top some shape. And at 5'4", my shoes caught on the bottom of the dress a few times. 

Wore this to an awards dinner and absolutely loved it! Beautiful lace detail and very flattering. 

Beautiful dress, looked classy and classic. Fits true to size. Does not stretch, if not sure get a size bigger. 

The 10 was a bit snug on my rib cage so I wore the 12 which ended up being a bit loose on the top. The white top is also a bit plain so I paired it with a statement necklace. Other than those two things, this dress was perfect! It did not require spanx and hid areas I am not cray about. The light fabric was so comfortable in the Florida heat. I received many compliment and felt so good wearing this dress! I would definitely recommend it to a friend or rent it again.

I’m 5’5, and the length was perfect.  It fit true to size!

I wore this to emcee an event. It was comfortable. I felt beautiful. My only regret is I'm 5'7" and the dress was too short for heels. I wore them anyway but it didn't look the best. Had I ordered a long this dress would have been perfect. Other than that it was true to size

#gala - tons of compliments, fit great and comfortable, some people complained it was short in their reviews, I am 5'2" so actually needed 3" wedges so it wouldnt drag

Beautiful dress, comfortable, and easy to wear but it's definitely not for full figured women. The bust was small and tight so ordering a size up may be better. 

I wish there was lining under the cap sleeves 

This dress was perfect! The fit was great, I just wish it was a tad longer. But overall it was a great option for a work gala. Fully lined under the lace so I wasn't worried about bra showing or black pantyhose showing through. 

This is a lovely gown, very flattering. Fits like a glove. It's conservative and dignified. I'm opting to go with a different option because I feel a bit nun-like in this dress. 

Loved this dress! I got it to change into later in the night at our wedding reception for more comfortable dancing. It is lightweight and very flattering. You might size up if you're heavy chested like me. I had to squish my 36DDDD into this dress, but I know it's not a common problem for many ;)

I received so many compliments in this gown! The ribbon in the middle is not forgiving, so it truly is a true to size gown. Some spanx would definitely help but the material and pattern were gorgeous! I would rent this again! 

This dress was even better in person. The fit was great, accentuating my curves and waist. It was so elegant and classy, and the mix of black and white made it stand out amongst your typical black dress. Always love when I can wear a regular bra!

This was an elegant option for a formal gala. I had some fancier options but ultimately went with this one because it was so comfortable and roomy in the hips. If you are curvy this is a great choice.

Straight fit with a slight Aline bottom. High waist accentuates waistline. Top is definitely an off white color. Lace is very pretty and classy. The length was slightly short for the regular fit with heels. I'm 5'6 and wore 3' heels. It was good that I could show off my red heels but didn't quite give the longer look I was hoping for. Either way, the dress was super comfortable and everyone loved it. I would definitely rent again. 

The whole dress is super comfortable, no need to wear/get special undergarments, form fitting on the top, flowy on the bottom. I even wore leggings underneath to keep my legs warm for the December wedding and no one would ever know. 

I wore a heeled shoe with it, and flat sandals and it's wasn't too long. I did pick it up when I walked outside though, because I didn't want it to get wet. 

Only issue, when I was deciding on shoes, I tried a pair with a strap on the back, and the bottom of the back of the dress kept getting stuck between my foot and the shoe.
