Felt like 1950s Hollywood glamour. Not too shabby.
I usually wear a 6-8 in gowns, so was surprised the 4R was not too tight. It was relatively stretchy and forgiving material, I did not really need a bra (though I wore one) or shapewear (didn't wear). I do wish the dress had cinched more in the waist to give an hourglass effect, instead of a ruler. I think it had been stretched out in the stomach. That was my only complaint though - the dress did not lay flat against my stomach so it looked like I had a pooch.

I came to the store to find a new dress for New Years Eve, and this was far better than imagined. I usually wear a 6, but an 8 fit like a glove. Well padded, you will not need a bra (34d). Double straps give extra lift too. I wasn't sure about the high slit, but it was far enough to the side to stay classy. The minute i took my jacket off at the party, all eyes were on this dress. Highly recommend for pear shapes like me.

Classy with some spice
Gorgeous red color, the perfect fitted "mad men" cut (but not so tight that it looks Kardashian). I found this at the store for a last minute outfit option for a Christmas dinner date, and it was perfect. Not too "prim and proper" like many lace dresses. I am 34D and didn't even need to wear a bra. There is no built in support, but the nude lining provides enough cover. Highly recommend this dress for hourglass and pear shapes, as it is fitted well in the natural waist but roomy enough in the hips and rear for walking and dancing.

Not what I expected
I expected it to be very revealing, as indicated by stock photos. However, for a dress with too many cut outs for a bra, there was no chest support and my breasts looked very saggy in front. Also, the sequins didn't lay flat well, and it gave the dress a sloppy, worn appearance. I had hoped to look sexy and sophisticated, but was very disappointed and exchanged the dress. Fit overall was stretchy, I wear 6-8 regular and fit the 4. Top was in general a little stretched out and could have been hoisted up by an inch or two (but this is a problem I havr with many sresses, being a pear shape).

Lots of ruching
I ultimately did not wear this dress for my date. I had hoped it would be a very sexy look, but between the loosely-fitting top and the ruching across the body of the dress, it looked more like a high school dance dress than a sexy little black dress. It is not as stretchy or form fitting as it looks in the model photo. I was disappointed. A size 6 was the best fir for my size.

This dress looks so much sexier and form fitting in the photo. I ordered the 4 and the 6, and the 4 was the best fit of the 2. I ultimately did not wear the dress because the straps were too long and were not adjustable. The model makes this dress look like a slim-fitting Bond girl dress, but it looks like a cheap sequin Homecoming dress. I was disappointed by the fit and the style in person.
