This dress is not a maternity dress but it was very comfortable and the cut worked well for showing a 2nd trimester bump. I liked the color and the pattern as I feel maternity wear can get a little bit too sweet. And I liked that this wasn't a giant maxi which also feels inappropriate at this size bump. The main down side is that the comfortable material feels cheap; it doesn't feel like an expensive dress. But it's not an expensive dress, so in that case, it's definitely well worth what you pay for

I loved this dress. I loved the pattern and the colors but I was also very happy with the fit. I think this dress is a little longer than the other Clover Canyon Gold Panther Dress I've rented before, and as a result I felt more comfortable in it. It floated away from the body just slightly at the bottom and didn't ride up when I walked. It's also thick enough material that I was able to wear it with leggings underneath (I wore it on NYE) without lumps showing through. Thick, but stretchy. Very comfortable. I could see myself owning this dress

I love Helmut Lang and this dress was no exception. The material is comfortable and not restrictive. The pattern is eye-catching without being too flashy, and the cut is interesting but still flattering. It's the kind of dress that works well when you don't know how dressed up to be. My boyfriend loved this dress to the point that he offered to buy it for me as soon as he saw it. I loved the fun print and the neoprene material made it very comfortable and flattering. My only complaint is that I had to walk a few blocks to my event and I basically had to hold the dress down the whole time. It just kept scooting up to a micro-mini with any real walking. Once I got to the event and was only ambling around it, it was no longer a problem but it made it a little uncomfortable coming and going.

I rented this dress because I had a free birthday credit and wore it out to dinner out. It was perfect for the occasion. I felt very put together, dressed up and a bit sexy, but because it was black and didn't expose too much skin, I wasn't self conscious about being overly fancy for a Tuesday night dinner in my neighborhood. The lace had some stretch which made the fit very flattering. I wore it with a black bra and didn't mind the band showing through the lace. Might have looked sexier without a bra, but it didn't look weird to wear one. Looked like it could have been part of the dress. I would wear this again

The color of this dress was beautiful and exactly as expected, and the neckline was lovely, but something about the overall fit wasn't that flattering. The fit was not so bad that I couldn't have made it work but I had rented another dress that was better so I didn't wear this one at all. This was my backup dress, but I was sort of expecting it to be my safety, something that would definitely work on me. What I didn't notice in the photo, is that there is an angled seam around the waist. This dress looked better with a thin black belt on me, but the seam was kind of awkwardly cut. I also felt like the rouching on the bottom half didn't hit in the right places. It didn't lay right on me and wasn't flattering to my behind (something that is generally one of my assets.. no pun intended). The fabric was a bit sheer, but I didn't find it unmanageable with nude colored underwear. I think this dress has the potential to be stunning, but unfortunately not on me!

I'm surprised by other comments saying this dress runs large. This is the first time I wasn't the smallest size available from Rent The Runway. I couldn't get the XS anywhere close to zipping up around my ribcage. The small fit, but it didn't leave a lot of room in the chest. Someone with a larger bust might have to size up twice. The waist came up above my belly button and then there was a lot of room where the dress flared out for larger hips. It was sort of restricting in the arms too. It was an awkward fit all around and I didn't feel comfortable. However I think for someone shorter, or with a shorter torso, it could work nicely. Fit on me aside, this is a lovely summer dress. It's a very lightweight, unstructured material. The fabric has an iridescence to it and the color is great

I loved the bright orange of this dress and the way the silk felt. It was very breezy and light, nice for a warm day. However, besides that... I was a bit underwhelmed. I had wanted something sort of casual for a day event but this felt a little too casual. It didn't feel that special. On the other hand, it was very comfortable. If I could do it again I would have chosen something else. However I think if you're kind of shy and never dress up, this might be an easy dress to wear. It's loud in color but otherwise sort of faded into the background for me. Fit wise it slightly too large but because of the style and included belt, fit wasn't a huge issue

I loved this dress. I felt it could have been slightly smaller (the shoulders were slightly too wide making the gold neck piece to tilt occasionally and I'm fairly broad shouldered) but otherwise it was perfect. I wore this to a work event and after parties and it was comfortable the whole time. The style of dress worked equally well at 1pm as at midnight. I love a skin tight dress, but they can be tiring for long periods. This was breathable. It felt work appropriate without being boring or predictable because of the neon.

I also got this as "mystery bling." They weren't something I would have chosen but they did look nice. Certainly made a statement. However, I didn't wear them at all. I put them on for about 30 seconds and worried they were going to rip through my earlobe. My one ear is pierced sort of low on the lobe so I'm more concerned about damage than the average person but I still feel like these would be unwearable for most people for an evening out. Unless you have really sturdy ears or you're just putting these on for a photo, unfortunately I would pass. Design is nice, but I gave a low review because they're just not functional

The blue is truly stunning in person and I got complimented all night. As someone with fairly wide shoulders, I felt the cut wasn't completely flattering to my figure, but that insecurity was overridden by all the positive feedback.

I wore this to a presentation and after party during NYFW. I felt very comfortable in the dress, both physically and emotionally. It has an interesting look to it with the cross and mix of fabrics so it works at a fashion event, but it's also a classic black so it's not TOO bold of a choice. I think it could work nicely for a work party. I selected true to size even though most of the reviews said it ran large. I felt like it fit, even though it wasn't skin tight. I have sort of broad shoulders compared to my hips, but perhaps someone with narrower shoulders might feel like they were swimming it the dress on top

I love the color, the neckline and draping are normally very flattering on me so I thought for sure I would end up wearing this dress over my backup.
