Ehhh. The fabric. It's thick and dated and I'm pretty sure leftover from a dusty 1960's wingback chair. This dress isn't funky or retro, it's just a miss. 2 stars because it fit well and is well-made.

Good length for petites. I wore a L to fit my chest, which left the rest of the dress too big. If you're narrow up top, this might be perfect for you. Great color.

Honestly, all dresses should have pockets. This one does! Lined, good length for us short gals, comfortable to wear. A little tight across my chest, but I'm a 36 so I'm used to it! Would rent again.

A super comfortable birthday cake
I felt a little like a birthday cake topper, but I don't even care because it's a CUTE birthday cake topper. Also - pockets. I could have sized down but I wanted to make sure it was loose and cool (hello, #phoenix). I sort of love this frock. Good for us short gals.

It's super comfortable and easy to wear because it has no form. But for a Phoenix summer, I wore it twice. Sometimes you just want to be comfortable! I'm an 8-10 and could have worn a 6 in this dress. Size down.

If you have shoulders, and I bet you do, this dress will make them look like an NFL quarterback's. Add in the odd panel at the chest (and the front zipper??) and this was a large WTF for me. I wore it with a cardigan to hide the weirdness because I was running too late to change. #life

Rent this dress. Fellow short girls, the length will work! It's flattering, beautifully cut, and I don't have a flat stomach, yet somehow I look like I did. I put a bandeau under it bc I wore it to work, but I wouldn't have needed it otherwise. #workproblems

Great work dress. Easy wrap, flirty bottom. My only complaint was the wrap didn't close enough in front and I had to wear a cami under it. Not a deal breaker and I'd rent this again.

Love this dress. Just one tiny issue.
Really adorable and easy to wear. Runs true to size. I'm a medium, wore the large to make sure it fit my chest. It was big but in a boho way, not a WTF are you wearing way. The only issue is the STATIC! I could not get it under control & tried everything. I wore it to work and had to be very very careful when walking!

I'm between an 8 & 10 and got the L b/c the medium wasn't available. It was a little too big. The shirt is flattering and easy to wear - BUT it itches. I know!! The shame. Felt like thin, scratchy wool. I threw a tank under it, which helped, but I was still very ready to take this sucker off after a day at work and send it back.

The pockets make it! Cute concept. The top is a tightly-woven sweater material and fitted - wasn't as casual or stylish as it looks on the model, but still cute. Very comfy and easy to wear. If you're between sizes, go up.

This dress is for you if you're tall and lean.
Color - awesome. Fabric - gorgeous. Details - darling. Flattering??? Alas, no. You need to want to show off your lean torso and abs in this one. I'm short with broad shoulders and felt boxy and like my abs were a wrapped sausage. Pass.

I am a big fan of effortless dresses that look great, are comfortable, but require no work. This is that dress! It's almost a camo-mixed with animal print, but the color and feminine details make it really darling. I'm a size 8 with large shoulders so got the L and it was great. Probably would have fit in the medium, L was super cozy.

The dress itself is cute. But tough to fit. I went up two sizes bc the waist band is fixed in place and not comfortable. Size up if you want to breathe. This left the top a little baggy. I'm an ehhhh on this dress, but I think it might be perfect for a small frame.

Cute dress. Thick material (randomly reminded me of indoor-outdoor upholstery!), and it laid well. If you're broad like I am, size up. The buttons pulled across my chest.

The Skirt!
The skirt is so fun, it makes the dress. Great amount of stretch & true to size. It was a little constricting and towards the end of the day, I was pretty happy to take it off, but I would rent this again. I'm 5'2" and the length was great (with heels).

Darling AND Comfortable. Score!
One word: pockets. Seriously, very comfortable and cute. I could have sized down so if you're in between, go small. The white could have been a tad bit "fresher" looking, but hey, we're renting clothes here. I spent two hours in the car in this dress and was soooo happy I rented it.

I tried this on and wrapped it right back up. It is a LOT of material and frill for a petite frame. It was overwhelming and grumpy at the same time. The fit itself was great and the style is adorable. But at 5'2", this was a no.

Daytime Symphony Performance.
Hm. This was a tough one to rate, and I would go 3.5 stars if that was an option. Quick review: PROS - lightweight, cool & comfortable. Really fun fabric. CONS - this dress has more fabric than a sewing room with a *plunging* neckline. It's best for someone tall who has time to do some fake-alterations. Details: This is a casual, lightweight fabric (think spring / summer dress) - not real dressy, but very comfortable and cool. There is a TON of material. Too much if you're a shorter gal like I am. The waist cinches in, thank goodness, but the extra fabric on top and at the waist definitely added weight and made the dress less flattering. If I had been going to an event with a lot of pictures (a wedding or party), I might have opted for something else. Short girls, I am 5'2" and wore 4" heels. This dress was still a few inches too long. Not in an "OMG how could you wear that in public" way, but definitely too long. The V-neck. The model doesn't show you that the V is cut to the waist. Literally. Again, if I were 6 feet tall, this might be great. I am definitely not. Adding another layer isn't something I like to do in the Phoenix heat, so I wore a bandeau bra and called it a day. If I had more time or interest, some pinning and fashion tape might have done the trick. But I don't think anyone could wear this dress right off the hanger without addressing this neckline. Unless you're into public exposure. Then you're in good shape. Pockets were nice. Those were a plus. This dress runs really big. Trust me. I needed a 6, and I am always an 8 / 10.

Great color, flattering dress!
Great vibrant color. V-neck is very flattering, and the bodice is wide enough to avoid showing the dreaded "arm fat" you sometimes have on the side in sleeveless dresses. Slims in for a waistline, but the skirt has a little extra body, which is very forgiving and very comfortable. And hello, POCKETS! I'm an hourglass with a D chest, and I was really happy with the way this dress fit. I'm an 8-10, and went with the 10 bc of my chest.
