loved the look of the asymmetrical design
... however, it was very strange to figure out how to put on and then the arm that doesn't go over your shoulder is very restricted in movement without having to constantly re-adjust the position of the top. I did have to size up in the dress but it is very stretch material and very comfortable from the chest down.

This was sent as a backup - Just Ok
**I have ordered lots of dresses from RTR and swear by them for events, but I will note, this is my first "negative" review. I did not complain to the company as this was a backup sent overnight to which I was extremely grateful for!** I had ordered another dress originally that was completely unflattering and just fit very oddly overall. When I called in to get a replacement I had VERY limited choices but also had no time to try to go find something as the event was the next day. I ended up choosing this one for a Formal Fall wedding. It did the job for the night, but I will warn you, it came with lots of issues. First, it was an insane struggle to get the zipper to go past the seam separating the bust from the bottom of the dress. I'm talking, we tried pliers, we tried having my husband stand up on a chair and use some height to get it to pull, just everything ... I was sobbing. Now I was really in a predicament because it was a 2 o'clock wedding an hour away and the dress arrived around 11:30am. Definitely NO time to find a backup. Then my mom mentioned putting vaseline on the zipper and of course, it went right up. The boning in the bust was VERY uncomfortable and felt like it was stabbing me in the stomach all night. If you're shorter than probably 5'4 the dress will be rather long. As I walked it dragged behind me and it was fine, but for dancing I had to constantly hold it up and felt like I was always watching to make sure no one stepped on it. I honestly could not wait to get it off. I DID however love the pockets and got lots of compliments regardless of the discomfort.

This dress was unbelievable! I really wish I owned it.
There is so much stretch to the material that it was impossible to be uncomfortable in it! I wore this during a summer wedding where it was like 95+ degrees outside and the material was thin enough it did not bother me at all. This cut on the dress is fantastic. I absolutely loved everything about it and got a ton of compliments!

Loved that this dress could be both casual and formal at the same time!
Wore this to a Bridal Shower. Dressed up with wedges made the dress a little more formal and I added some casual summer flare with a neon jeweled necklace that matched the neckline of the dress. The dress definitely runs large. I wore the XS backup size. The arm holes drop a little low too so definitely pair with a black bra if needed. The neckline does start to get bothersome and feels like it's choking you if worn for too long. But overall, I had such a blast wearing this dress!

Perfect Fit!
First, disregard the lovely bathroom shot, it was the only place in the hotel room with a full length mirror. I got this dress as a backup to the original one I had ordered that seemed to have some shipping issues. It was on MY Rehearsal Dinner dress list and I ended up wearing it to one of my best friends' rehearsal dinner. I absolutely loved this dress. True to size and a little stretchy. The blue is very vibrant and looked amazing! I seriously wish I owned this dress.

Not my favorite ...
This was my least favorite dress I've rented from RTR. The material is very thick. The lining gets in the way of the zipper, not to mention it hung lower than the dress itself which I can't stand. There were multiple ... ripples (?) in different parts of the dress and not having a steamer I was afraid to iron it so I had to let them be. The only thing I liked about this dress was that it sucked in my stomach and had pockets.

Gorgeous Statement Piece
Loved this ring. Wore it with the Badgley Mischka Fluorescent Chiffon Gown to my boyfriend's sister's wedding. The ring did have two small chips in it, but barely noticeable.

I didn't speak to a single person that didn't first compliment my dress.
I lost 20 pounds over the last two months and was really crossing my fingers that the 6 would fit, as it was the largest option in a Petite. The zippers on both of the dresses were a little tough to work so I originally thought neither size, 6 or 8, was going to fit and since my rental didn't show up until 8pm (while I was at the rehearsal dinner), I spent the whole night freaking out worrying that I had no backup option if they didn't work since I'd be too late to contact customer service for help! Luckily with an extra set of hands I was able to get both sizes on and went with the 6 for the length. I am only 5'2 and wore 2" heels and while the Petite just touched the floor it was still just long enough to be slightly irritating; I felt like I had to hold it up as I walked everywhere and especially while I danced. Every single person I spoke to complimented me on how gorgeous my dress was and how it was such a great color on me. Although I was stressed the night before, all of the compliments received made me feel like the best dressed person there, aside from the bride of course. :) Overall, extremely pleased with my RTR Experience!
