Made me look like a linebacker
Another item I wanted to love-- I think it's probably best to go one or two sizes larger for this garment so that the puffy sleeve falls lower on the arm. This added a lot of bulk horizontally and it made me look very wide for my height. Looks much better on the model.

Great texture
Fit well at the waist but the garment was tight across the mid-thigh stitch detail. I didn't end up wearing this out because it wasn't very comfortable for me. I'm pear-shaped with thicker legs so this would probably work on someone with slimmer legs. The top band fit pretty well. I loved the texture of this though, wish it had worked for me to elevate my usual work "uniform".

Compliments all night.
I rented this for a work party and I'm thrilled that I did. Got compliments all night and it was comfortable to boot. Neither the S or my backup M ended up fitting but I ended up wearing the S. It just was a bit loose in the back around the zipper. One small point is that the end of the zipper was right in the middle of my butt and since the dress was a bit larger on me it did bunch up pretty unflatteringly around the end of the zipper there. This dress has a good bit of give so I knew I should have gone with my first instinct and gotten the XS. In any case I really wanted to buy this one because I loved it!

Too large for my frame.
I didn't end up wearing this out because it was too large on my frame. Rated 4 stars because its true to size small but I'm definitely a bit smaller, but I think the pattern is just too large for most women who aren't tall and svelte models. I did find that the large pattern was unflattering on me and it seems like it would suit someone taller much better.

Awesome, but heavy for me.
I loved the look of these, I felt like a very cool and chic publisher or something! I didn't end up wearing them to the office like I planned because they were just too heavy on my tiny baby earlobes. It would be awesome if RTR could include a bit more info on earring weight so I can make more of an informed decision next time I rent statement earrings like these. Four stars for a great and fun pair of earrings that look expensive, but one star off due to heaviness.

This was my first time trying RTR! I rented this for a work holiday party and I couldn't be happier. I got compliments all night with this dress and I would absolutely rent it again!
