Unfortunate Pattern
This skirt was GORGEOUS but unfortunately, the way the pattern matched up along the front seam looked like either (1) lady parts, or (2) a stomach GSW. One of my coworkers commented that it was a very "graphic Georgia O'Keefe vibe." I don't know if every skirt has the same issue but the one I borrowed had this VERY unfortunate effect.

Cozy and elegant
This sweater leveled up a pair of jeans, a pair of sweatpants, everything. The quality of the fiber is buttery and luxe and very warm. I got a NWT item. My only cavil is that it started to pill after a few wears.

Preppy Luxury
Beautiful, heavy and warm. The fabric felt luxe and the style is classic with a twist. The piping and the deep side slashes take it beyond basic. Those side slashes make for easy pants-pocket access if you're wearing with jeans. My only quibble is that the buttons on the one I borrowed were VERY loose. Had to be extra careful with them, and was worried I would lose one.

Beautiful but a little sheer
This is a gorgeous piece to wear with jeans or dress up for a party. It is a little bit sheer, so if you wear a nude bra you will be fine, but the sheerness is more evident the more the fabric is stretched (i.e. over your chest)

You guys, I figured out the ties.
I was initially confounded by this dress like the other reviewers. BUT. Determined to make this dress work and after trial and error, I realized that you have to fold/flip over the straps at sort of a right angle before you cross them in the front, to make them look like the picture. I feel like a genius for figuring this out. Completely changes my opinion about this lovely frock.

I wore this to work with a white button-down. It looked crisp and smart!

Wore it to work - felt like a boho princess.
This is a roomy, flowy dress. You do need to wear a cami or tank top underneath to avoid a super-plunging effect, and I wore a slip because the fabric is diaphanous. The gathered detailing makes this dress pretty special. I wore it with booties and tights for a glam Stevie Nicks-at-the-office vibe. One caveat - the loose sleeves kept getting caught on the arms of my desk chair. Also, this is the ultimate dress NOT to cook over an open flame in. Lots of fluttery fabric and dangly ties!

Chic French-girl style! An elevated Breton look in a luxe fiber. This sweater is warm without adding lots of bulk and the signet buttons on the shoulders are a cool touch.

No event, just looking to take a break from my usual black Land's End parka for winter!
This coat does have a boxy fit, which is great if you live in a cold climate and need to wear thick layers underneath. The quality is great - thick wool, not at all scratchy - and I got compliments from strangers at the grocery store when I was wearing it! The piece I got did show some signs of wear (very slight pilling, not noticeable unless you look closely) but this was a great punch-up for battling the cold weather in style.
