I get this is the style - but the shoulders are so far away from my actual shoulders it looks like I have a shrunken head. Or that I'm a kid on top of another kid's shoulders, pretending to be an adult. The color is gorgeous.

This coat ran large but with the cut it still worked for my look. Got compliments and made me feel like I stood out in a crowd without being loud

Okay, so people really seem to hate this coat because of the over size style. That's why I love it. I can easily wear a sweater under it and really anything bulky, is totally fine to wear under this coat. It's super warm, and the fabric is super comfortable. It IS an over size style, though, and that will show even if you size down. I would not recommend going more than one size down, however, as the arms are made to be over sized and you *will* feel going down more than one size. I went down one size so as to avoid the "oh, that was the last coat in the entire store?" comically over size feeling and that was perfect. It fits exactly as I was hoping it would - it's still very warm even when completely opened. Definitely pleased with this rental and will be keeping it for a while, hahah. Trying to figure out if I can somehow swing the purchase price because I'm so in love! The color is exactly as shown in the picture - a pretty robins egg blue that is lovely in any season, but I tend to favor more in the autumn & fall (spring colors in the midst of dreary weather is always nice!).

This does run very large, however I rented it during the "Polar Vortex" while traveling and it was sooo warm and perfect. The color and style are eye-catching. I took off 1 star because my particular coat was over-worn and needs to retire - not the standard that I have come to expect from RTR. 

A bit on the larger/boxy end but if you are feeling up for it, can definitely be rocked. Very high quality make. Only huge downfall would be that it is a lot less warmer than it looks. I felt like I was wearing a t-shirt wearing this in 35 degree weather with a sweater underneath. 

This jacket looked ridiculous. I was expecting oversized by I got "box". Not really sure why the shoulders were *so* big.

This cost is nice, the color is much darker than pictured & I wish I had sized down one maybe even two sizes. I ordered my true size (6) and this coat swallowed me whole. 

I wore a size 8 because the size 6 was unavailable, and it worked out well. Considering this is meant to be a very oversize coat, it didn't really matter. I got so many compliments and the color was gorgeous and so nice for a change in the winter! 

The coat is beautiful but it runs huge!  I am reordering it in a 6 and back up 4.  I am usually a 10

Fashionable, warm, but breathable. Very huge though. Can’t believe it is an 8. 

I received so many compliments on this coat, and it was super warm even in New England winters. I definitely recommend sizing down. 

This is one of the most beautiful coats I have ever seen! It is an attention getter, also! Fabulous choice!

Awesome cost, big and boxy, but I like it!

It definitely fit large, but I wanted something oversized! The color and material are so amazing, got tons of compliments on this piece.

I have never worn another piece of clothing that has gotten as many unsolicited compliments (from male coworkers, even) as this coat. It's stunning. If you're looking for something that looks more tailored, don't get this--it's meant to be oversized and it WILL look boxy. It takes awhile to get used to, but I really came around on the color, the details, and the sheer quality of the wool. Loved how warm it kept me, even as the weather unseasonably dipped into the low 30s, and how much it stands out in a crowd of dark navy and black winter coats.

Very stylish & warm outerwear! Not something you'd find easily. The fit is roomy enough to hide those holiday bellies and fitting enough to not feel the cold air creep up. This is a really beautiful piece that I'd consider wearing for years to come!

The blue was darker in person.  The coat was warm and heavy but had pil balls all over it and looked a little worn.  Despite it being wide the coat length and arm length were as long as I would like. I could easily make a cuff on the end to make it shorter.  This would be perfect over a bulky sweater.  I will size down and see if that helps on the next Unlimited rent.

This coat stands out.  Beautiful color.  However it runs large.  It is also boxy.  But that did not bother me.


Warm coat. It looked exactly how it appears on the model. Mine came kind of pilled.

As mentioned on other reviews, this coat runs big.  I usually wear tailored clothes, so I wasn't sure when I first put it on.  But since it is an "oversized" look, I decided to go with it and wore it for several days.  Everywhere I went, I received compliments, even from strangers who noticed and admired it.  I love the color of this coat.  It was a little worn, but still looked good.

Very roomy, but great for layering and keeping you warm! Was nice to wear a non black coat 

I'm usually a size 4 but I like my coats a little roomier so I ordered a 6. It engulfed me! Your true size is likely large enough to fit a sweater under. I probably should have ordered a 2 though! Beautiful color and detailing though! 

This coat does have a boxy fit, which is great if you live in a cold climate and need to wear thick layers underneath. The quality is great - thick wool, not at all scratchy - and I got compliments from strangers at the grocery store when I was wearing it! The piece I got did show some signs of wear (very slight pilling, not noticeable unless you look closely) but this was a great punch-up for battling the cold weather in style.

Great fit, gorgeous feminine colour. Black tie/stitch down the back helps to neutralize the jacket (to match with any shoe or accessory that is black!). VERY boxy fit (which I love, but may not be for everyone). 

Love the style and warmth but the coat is pulled and worn. Too bad, might have bought it otherwise. 

It runs massive I had a size 4 which is normally my size and i was swimming in it 

I love this coat but it is HUGE. I'm going to send back and re-order two sizes down. 

I normally wear a size 16W, ordered the 18 and it was HUGE! Also, it was very well "worn" and had "piling" all over it. Very warm and comfortable coat.

Nice quality heavy coat good for cold weather, can be worn at formal events or everyday.
The shoulder area was too wide and boxy. I ordered a size 0, so there's no smaller size that would've fit my 5'5/116 lb frame. This would probably look better on someone with wider shoulders.

I knew this was oversized but it was huge in an unflattering way. Although the color is beautiful
