Forget about wearing with straps
As mentioned in other reviews the straps are insanely short even sizing up. Tucked them in to be able to wear, very cute otherwise. Lined so lots of material which made it a bit bulkier than other dresses when packing but gave it nice structure

Kentucky Derby themed event Strapless that stays up! And has pockets!
Fit great, could probably have sized down to a 2 (typically wear a 2 or 4). 4 was a little roomy in the bust (I am a 34C/32D), but no issue with it staying up. Has built in bra- back is cut a little low for a regular strapless bra. Pockets are great! Nice thick weight to the fabric

Snug fit at bust and shoulders, silky lightweight material and fairly wrinkle free
Could have used a size up for room in the bust and better arm mobility, but I don't think I would have liked the fit of the next size up. Material is thin and lightweight. Wore as a work top then out for drinks. Whole upper body felt constricted but cut is flattering if you can deal with that.

Wore to black tie optional Awards dinner. Great form fitting dress without being overly bodycon. Great color as I was looking for a non-black dress. Only negative --At 5'-4" even with 4" heels the dress was too long and needed to walk carefully all night. Fabric was a nice substantial weight. Wear either a 2 or 4 typically and the 4 was perfect (minus the length)

Cute but constricting
Heavy weight material plus pockets! Nice fit but there is no give to the fabric. The cut of the sleeves makes it difficult to raise your arms. The bodice and skirt are quite fitted- it was difficult to bend over to fasten the buckles on my shoes. Wore it to an evening work event.

Runs very small- would have lived to wear
Took a chance with the S because it was largest size available even though reviews warned it runs small. I could not even zip it all the way up and it was ridiculously tight. Would definitely try again if a bigger size comes available. Love the pattern and weight of the dress.

It has pockets! Who doesn't love that! Worn by my teen daughter for a school dance. Fits slightly on the small side. Thick fitted material did not require a bra. Straps are very long and had to be pinned to be wearable. Mix of front and back side of fabric for different parts of the dress was an interesting subtle detail

Size down --but not too much. I could have probably gone down to a size 0 except for the fact that I doubt I would be able to pull it down over my bust- (no stretch and does not zip down that far). Would like a more fitted waist area but still wore despite the looser fit. Not super slimming

Runs a bit short - not good for long torso
Fit TTS except for running short (as in the crotch riding a bit high). Maybe sizing up would help but fit everywhere else was right so I would probably still go with my regular size if renting again. Cool and comfortable and did not find it overly wrinkle prone even after all day wear.

Love this dress - super flattering fit. Would love to own it
Consider that there is no stretch when picking your size. Side zipper, long sleeves and no stretch make it a little difficult to get in and out of but you will love it once your in. If you are larger than a C you may find it tight in the bust. Although the V in the front is a little deep, it was not inappropriate for a church event. Overall fit was on the smaller side. Typically wear either 2 or 4 in dresses and size Small had absolutely no room to spare. Definitely would rent again, very flattering fit

RTR Stylist Review!
I absolutely adore this style! The lace details + patterns are so vivid thanks to the color palette. I could see this style dazzling at a formal event + it definitely would be something unique! This style runs true to size and it does not have stretch due to the lace so I would recommend going up a size. It is fitted at the natural waist and hip areas. For undergarments, a NuBra or no bra would work, however if you need full support a strapless nude bra could be worn with it too. Slip into some strappy nude heels to keep your eyes on this style and pair with neutral accessories!
