Miami heat!
Miami wedding, lots of drinks, food, and dancing, and this dress was so comfy and sexy (without being in bad taste), I never worried about any chest slippage and got SO many compliments

The reaction from other wedding guests when I walked up to the ceremony (gasp!)
I would not reco this dress to anyone who has arms or boobs. I have worn a size 6 in virtually all RTR dresses, and other David Meister dresses--this one simply did not fit well. The chest was a bit tight, but the arm holes killed me! Sequins literally dug into my arms to the point they left scratches, I had to leave halfway through the cocktail hour to change into a 2nd dress (thank goodness I had one).

It was the dress I wore my rehearsal dinner, and I loved being told how tiny it made my waist look!
I rented this dress for my summer wedding - i wore it to my rehearsal dinner. The dress fit true to size--i dont have much of a waist but this helped accentuate what waist I have, and the length was cute and appropriate. The 2 problems were the zipper was very hard to zip - it fit but got caught on the fabric. and the dress seemed to stretch out throughout the night--by the end of the night I had to keep lifting it up. Overall, good dress, I received a ton of compliments and I loved the color.

Super-Fab!
I am 5'5, athletic build, and this dress actually made me look like i have a waist. the 6 fit perfectly, and the lining was thick enough so I did not have to wear a bra or pasties. it's a good length for a wedding, right above the knee, and is forgiving. I received compliments all night! It should be noted that the dress seemed a bit darker than in the picture.

the look on my fiancee's face
This dress is very classy - i rented it for dinner and also wanted to test-run it for a bridesmaid dress. I will be using this dress as the bridesmaid dress at my upcoming wedding. I am 5'5, 140 lbs, and the 6 fit perfectly....i suggest a strapless bra, and potentially spanx. Follow up - i chose this dress for my bridemaids for a summer winery wedding...the girls loved it, every dress fit perfectly, and the material was stretchy, forgiving, and complimented their figures (my friends have VERY different body types). They were able to wear the dresses comfortably for over 10 hours!
