These are so flattering and comfortable! But has many reviews said the snap closure is just awful. I had to wear a belt and even then it still came open. And it wasn't because they were too small. It's just a bad design choice by Madewell. That being said I would still rent them...but probably wouldn't ever buy them.

I was worried this would be an absolute tent on me when I took it out of the package but the waist tie helps a ton. I did size down and am glad I did. At the time of wearing I was 155 lbs but I do think I'd have to size down again after losing 15 pounds. So be mindful of that when ordering!
