Not great for a Pear
I didn't realize that the skirt is stretchy and tight all over, even in the lower leg area, so it was really difficult to walk. I would have liked for there to be more material in the lower leg area also as I'm a pear and it wasn't that flattering to taper in at the lower legs but be tight at the hips. Still I did receive compliments and it doesn't look too bad in the picture.

I loved this skirt! It's likely too long/overwhelming for my 5'2" height but since I was just going to wear it once or twice I didn't mind. I really enjoyed wearing it.

Yes to this dress!
This dress rocks. There were a bunch of us heading to a formal work holiday party and the uber driver put on the song "Lady in Red." I had to wear Spanx but with the spanx it was super flattering. Felt very Mad Men. Flattering to the butt, and low cut in front but still classy. I felt so good in it and didn't want to take it off! The dress is shorter in front so you can see your shoes, which I loved. I'm 5'2" though and the length was perfect, so taller girls may want to try a Long.

Fabric sucks you in
I had to wear a size larger than usual, but the fabric was really stretchy/tight and held in my stomach. I was worried about bulging out of the cutout but everything looked great. Recommend wearing a statement necklace as in the photo.

So many compliments!
I passed over this dress online as it looked to have the potential to be weird, but at the store I LOVED it! The silhouette is really cool and modern. The fabric is thick and hugs your curves nicely. I received so many compliments at the holiday party and also on Facebook for this unique but classy dress.

Nice silhouette
However, the top was too big. I'm 5'2" so the straps were too long and left the risk of a wardrobe malfunction. They're very skinny straps so it would be hard to pin them. I ended up wearing a different dress, although I appreciated the way the dress fit on the rest of my body- made for a nice-looking figure.

This dress was perfect for a black-tie affair.
The dress was beautiful and had just the right amount of sparkle. However you may need to get some Spanx because the area below the twist isn't extremely flattering. After a long night of dancing the sequins do rub under your arms. It was definitely worth it, I felt like $1MM and got a lot of compliments!
