Not my fave Elizabeth and James
I consistently wear a size 8 in Elizabeth and James and it is typically a perfect tailored fit. In this style however, there was a looseness at the lower back that prevented a fitted silhouette around my bum - no one likes any "extra" added width to their mid section - but unfortunately I had that problem with this particular style. RtR as always delivered on time with my two sizes clean and in proper condition - just wasn't my favorite style.

Gorgeous but very long!
I felt more comfortable in the small up top but wore the XS because it was a tad shorter in length. I am 5'2" and thought with 4-5in wedges I'd be safe. It just grazed the floor but I had to hold the pant legs while walking. I just peg-rolled the bottoms for the dance floor. If you're 5'5" and wear heals you'll be okay. Unless you're very tall you won't be able to get away with flat sandals.

Great fit - front was a bit awkward
Pros: fit my body perfectly - zipped right up and fit like a glove - not too tight or too loose which is tough for me because I have a very wide muscular back so I never know if the zipper is going to go up easily or if the armpits will be digging in. I'm 5'2" and length was perfect. Fabric was light and airy. Received lots of compliments. Cons: If the pleating on the front had stayed pleated and flat it would have been more flattering but it kept "fanning" and balooning out making the top look fluffy.

Fit like a glove!
Just the right amount of sexy with a conservative length and neckline. I was worried that the length would be awkward on my 5'2" frame but it was perfect especially with the slit. I had an 8 and a 6 and wore the 8 (my bust/waist/hip is a perfect 8) and it fit perfect but was on the snug side on my back and hips- I would recommend sizing up for your backup size. Also, I was going to wear spanx but the top seam was visible through the fabric so I would recommend completely seamless undergarments. I didn't need a bra (34D) because of the tightness and thickness of the fabric. Beautiful color - it looks maroon in this photo but it has more Amber/brown tones - perfect for fall.

Perfect wedding guest dress
The color of this dress is stunning! It was perfect for the late spring wedding I attended at a country club. The only "issue" I had was that I have very muscular arms and the lace on the long sleeves has no give. Otherwise, fit was great and length was appropriate.

Plenty of compliments
I had worn a Parker dress before and liked the fit - I wore a medium. I ordered a medium and a small as my backup since reviews said the dress ran large. I put in the medium first and the cut of the bodice left a lot of my chest out in the open! Not thinking I had any chance of fitting into the small based on the fit of the medium (the picture doesn't show it but I have a large bust - the dress kinda smooshed them down) I tried it anyways hoping the cut of the top might "line up" better. It did and I was even able to wear a strapless bra. The dress is of very high quality fabric, and is thicker - but it wasn't the most comfortable thing to move in. ***If you order this dress you are taking a risk with the top.

Showstopper!
Pros: fit great. Loved the wild pattern and the fact that it was warm - perfect for a late fall event! Cons: because the pattern is so geometric and symmetrical, it is NOT forgiving - it shows every curve. I wore spanx to feel more comfortable but had to keep adjusting the dress to make sure the pattern was aligned.

Looked great - if I was standing still
I will start by saying I have a difficult body to fit and based on reviews, I should have known this wasn't going to be a good fit for me. My bust (34DD) and hips (38in) are significantly larger than my waist (30in). I wanted a 4 and a 6 but only the 4 was available so I took my chances based on other reviews. It fit fine, but the hips were snug and the waist was loose so as soon as I took a step the bottom rode up making the fabric bunch around the tummy - not flattering. Dancing was another issue which found me constantly tugging at the dress to keep me from flashing anyone. I am only 5'2" and felt this dress was very short - a length I would wear to the club, not a wedding. As long as I was standing still I looked and felt great! But this dress was not functional for me.

Perfect for the Newport venue
At first I wasn't wild on the fit. This dress needs to be tight so that the rouching is pulled tight. The 4 was a bit loose around the tummy so the rouching added some volume (my usual size is a 6 due to my very wide upper back). Otherwise it was perfect for the occasion and was very comfortable!
