The RTR shipment arrived juuuust in time for me to pop the dress on before we had to leave!
This dress is really lovely, and it fit pretty well considering that I had to get a size down due to availability. I would definitely want to rent my correct size next time (2 rather than 0). The 0 fit really well at the waist, but the rest of the top was tight, so my ribs weren't able to expand fully and my breasts were a bit more prominent than I was going for. They did look fantastic, but it was not a conservative look by any means. If you're at all busty, I recommend getting the largest size you think the ladies need and pin the waist in if necessary. The waist was a touch high, but again, I imagine that wearing my true size would have fixed this. The fabric was nice and stout, so I felt comfortably warm all evening despite the straps. It was dressy but not flashy (well, except for the cleavage), so it has good flexibility - even in perennially casual Portland, OR. And I love dresses with pockets, as I think we all do! Overall, I really liked this dress.

We held a "Sparkle Party" for NYE, and this dress totally set the tone!
I was surprised that the 0 fit better than the 2 - I'd actually tried to order the size 4 as my backup but it was unavailable (a good thing, as it turns out!). I have a very hourglassy figure, but the winter has seen a little extra sand in the lower half, if you know what I mean, so it was a very nice treat to fit into the 0 so well. My boyfriend and I (in the photo) threw a New Year's Eve party and I got compliments on the dress all night long! I did notice a tiny bit of scratching under my arms as other reviewers have mentioned, but it wasn't bad at all despite doing hostess things for many hours. This dress was lovely, and my boyfriend actually asked about buying it so I could wear it again! All in all, a very successful rental.
