Adorable...but
Would have been perfect if I was 3 inches shorter. At 5'7" with a little more height from my legs....but not a ton, this was way too short even if I wanted a short dress. I have a number from this brand so was surprised.

Adorable...but
I've worn other Layered with Love pieces in M, and haven't had an issue with my shoulders, which are broad and athletic. This was just a hair tight on them. I could still get around comfortably, but definitely small on the Lw/L fit. Also, while I got this because it's a cute, short dress, the back was a hair too short (and I've got a pretty flat butt).

Unbelievably short - better as a shacket
I am 5'7", and while the overall fit was fine, the length was in no way appropriate - and I'm not a stranger to a short dress. I can't imagine who this was built for. Even sizing up wouldn't have added enough length.

All of the ropes are practical not ornamental (aka make sure you have somebody on hand to help you tie the shoulders tight, otherwise you'll spend the evening adjusting)
