This is the most perfect skirt I've ever owned. The waistband is slimming but not uncomfortable, it shows off your figure but isn't too revealing, and it feels like wearing a cozy blanket. This was my first purchase from RTR after a rental, couldn't bear to give it back!

The waist band made it stay structured whereas most sweater skirts will stretch throughout the day.  Love the classy slit.  Perfect for casual or dressed up. 

I love this trendy everyday skirt by CAARA! Running true to size with a lot of stretch, I recommend going up for your back-up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and roomy at the hips. At 5'8, the length hit tea length on me. This style can definitely be worn to work, or after with co-workers to happy hour. Great day-to-night piece. Pair with pump stiletto and fun trendy accessory to complete your outfit!

Great for work or everyday. It was super tight around my waist from the band but I would suffer through that again. I got a ton of compliments! 

Draw back - I'm 5' 5" and this is the length with the waist band positioned right under my bra. The fabric is very soft and warm. 

Very nice warm fabric.  I'm short 5'1 so no peep show with my short strides- had to be careful on the stairs though!  Was great for work.

Super warm.  Front flap kept getting caught in between legs limiting range of motion. Annoying.

This skirt has so much potential, but it really is ridiculously tight in the waist.  You can see that the elastic is bunchy before you even put it on.  I didn't get a good picture, but sharing the only one I have from this day.  Everything else about the skirt makes it fun to wear - I paired it with a bodysuit black long sleeve, and wore black suede boots, above the knee.  However it pressed into my stomach so much, I felt like I was sucking in all day.  Next time I would size up to a Medium due to the waist.  

This skirt looked demure and conservative until I took a step in this and realized that it has a thigh high split!  I personally loved the little surprise. 

Unlike other knit skirts the waistband is solid and not slipping down, and can also handle whatever kind of shirt you stuff into it without showing it. 

This skirt was incredible! The material of this item was incredibly thick and made it really flattering. I will absolutely be renting this item again.

Fits perfectly and looks great.  Would buy it but it's distinctive, so I don't think I would wear it often enough.

Love this skirt!!!  the only con is the slit in the front.  I have large thighs so it tends to split when I sit.  So just need to be mindful of that.  other than that I love this skirt!!!!

Nice material, nice cut. Very easy to match with various other tops and outers. 

Fit well. Worried it would be too long based on reviews, but it was perfect length. Does gape in front, so suggest wearing opaque tights. 

The fit was comfortable.  It is a knit skirt with an elastic waistband, it's very slimming

This isn't a great skirt for sitting in. The skirt opens up when seated, and if you roll around in your chair, the long asymmetrical side will get stuck under your chair's wheels.

This skirt was decidedly okay. Great fabric for winter b/c it's heavy and thick. But it added bulk to my frame, which wasn't super flattering. Probably would look better on a taller woman than me (5'3"). The faux wrap bunched up a bit and I had to fix it throughout the day.

This skirt kept me warm all day! Was like have my cozy blanket with me!

the waistband gets a crease in it if you sit all day, but otherwise, very cute and got a ton of compliments 

Loved this skirt, fun twist on a sweater dress. Will say I was worried about the opening on breezy days , but super cute and comfy. Wore it all weekend!

Size up, the waistband runs small, even though the rest of the skirt seems to fit and fall correctly. Material is very thick and warm.

As mentioned, waist is very tight, which made me look very large below the waist.

I wanted to love this skirt but the waistband was so tight and thick, it was uncomfortable. I would try it again and size up to a large. The side slit did move a lot so I had to be careful of my whole leg slipping out. 

I liked the skirt for the office and just everyday. I got a L because all the reviews said the waistband is very tight, that holds true (normally a M). I didn't think the skirt was anything special, just okay. HOWEVER I was walking into work and it kept flying open and continued to do this unless I took very small strides. I ended up pinning it shut as soon as I got to my desk. Would recommend with tights or shorts underneath if you do not plan on pinning.

**UPDATE** I wore this again with tights and I absolutely loved it!

The waist band was thick and wide, could be uncomfortable for a long period of time.

Love the weight and style. The wrap was too revealing and the knit hugged my curves more than I'd like. Shows your legs when you walk and sit. Cannot wear this. 

The skirt fit okay. Just a little too figure revealing for me. 
It really just wasn't my style.


A skirt so cozy you could swap it for pajamas. And the cut is extremely flattering! The waistband does not have much give, so the L felt snug; I'd opt for an XL next time I rent this - but it is definitely one I'll keep in rotation!

I should have rented a M - the elastic on the waist for the small was too tight and created love handles! I wasn't able to wear it.

I rented this under my maternity unlimited subscription.  The elastic band was very wide and strong so it was pretty unconformable on my baby belly after an hour or so.  The band kept folding over because it was so wide. It probably would've been more comfortable not during maternity. 

Styling: None, returned. HOWEVER- if it's the right rental for you- I'd recommend a tucked in white T, sneaks and moto jacket.

Fit: I loved this when I saw it, but given the shape of my hips it just wasn't flattering. I tried pulling it up high, sitting low... just didn't work.

Pros: Fabric was super cozy, great fall/winter skirt option

Cons: If you're looking to minimize your hips, maybe not the right rental.
