Comfortable dress, but wish there were half sizes

I ordered the size 10 and 8 for a formal affair. The size 10 fit nicely, but at the shoulders was large, and made a slight "bulge" at the back of my neck (not cute!) The 8 fit jussssst right, although if there existed a 9, it probably would have been perfect. One minus was, I guess people have been pulling at the chest area (I read some people feared the exposure) so the lining was pulled out a little and would flip up if I wasn't looking. Additionally, looks like someone stained the dress on the white sleeve, but RTR tried their darndest to remove it. (Not entirely successful). At this point, I had to choose between the bulge or the barely visible stain, so I went with the 8. The material is nicely stretchy and absolutely no need for smoothers or shapers, although if you do have a tummy, you'll probably pop out a little. For curvy girls like me, it fit like a glove and this is actually a dress I wouldn't mind owning.

Bottom not great

Overall it's a pretty dress in the bag, but once I put it up, for a shape like mine (hourglass) I found the bottom to fit strangely. It folded and looked big on my tummy, but looked a little snug on the sides of my hips. Going up to Large didn't help either... It just looked even larger on the bottom. Also, If you've got a little jiggle, you'll definitely need a shaper as the material is not stretchy enough to cover anything up.

The dress (and the wedding!) were a hit!

The dress fit very well and was forgiving for my shape (hourglass with a little bit more on the bottom). I also rented the earrings, bracelet and purse, all in a silvery hue which matched perfectly. I wore silverish, snakeskin shoes from WHBM (the Elizabeths) which also went well. The dress was very comfortable, although I would advise wearing a strapless bra. When I originally tried on the dress, it was a size 8, so the top fit well enough to cover a regular bra, but when I went one size up, I could see the straps.
