Rented this for my 22-year-old daughter's graduation announcement photos. It actually was the backup dress, but the gold lace over the blush base layer was so gorgeous, and fit so well, it wasn't even a tough decision to use this one, instead. My daughter is 5'5", 110 lbs., and wears a 36C bra. The 4R fit well, and the length would have been fine with heels; however, for the photos she wore flat sandals so the hem of the dress would puddle at her feet. We wanted photos that were somewhat editorial, so selected a formal dress for a rustic setting. My daughter felt beautiful in the dress, and that confidence radiates in the photos. I've now had two well-known, professional photographers ask where I get the dresses for our photo shoots. For those sessions, and any special occasion, I always secure dresses (and sometimes jewelry) from RTR. Never have I been disappointed, and sometimes friends wear the backup dresses I've ordered for myself and my daughter.

Dress fit true to size and was surprisingly comfortable, given the amount of sequins! I noticed most reviewers have said that it's predominantly green, however, I found mine to be true to the picture. I had found and ordered shoes ahead of time hoping they'd match, and they were PERFECT! (If you're interested - they're Betsey Johnson). I am currently trying to find where/how to purchase this dress, I loved it that much! Truly an eye-catcher. It can easily be styled differently to suit your own taste if you want to throw on a different jacket, or go without, and add the right jewelry and shoes. I'd say it's a TAD bit short, but I'm a bit taller than average (5'10" without heels) so that wouldn't necessarily be fair to say. Either way it's wonderful for any party! Will definitely rent again if I cannot find to purchase! (I rented via a friend's account - I am usually a size 0, 30 yrs old, 5'10" 118lbs, bust size 32DDD).

Rented this for an annual holiday party I host for my staff and guests. I typically wear a size 10, but it wasn't available. Received sizes 8 and 12, instead, and was able to wear the 12 although I feel the size 10 would have fit perfectly. Very true to size. Although the description states the fabric is silk, it feels more like a heavier-weight stretch jersey. I had to almost drench the hem with Static Guard to make it hang well. It wrinkled a bit during the course of a long evening, but not excessively. I'm 5'5" and the hem was right at my knee. Very appropriate for my age and the event. There's a sheer mesh lining under the gold lace, so a flesh-colored undergarment is not noticeable. There's a very slight flare from the waist to the hem, which is figure-flattering for those of us who aren't model perfect. I received compliments from all, but not sure I would rent again. It's an elegant, conservative, appropriate dress for a corporate event, but I'm not in love with the silk that feels and looks like a jersey knit (with a sheen).
