I wore this dress to a NYE party at a bar in the lower east side. It fit like a glove and was the perfect length (I wore black tights underneath but only because it was freezing, definitely didn't need them) YOU MUST HAVE SAFETY PINS!!! For whatever reason the buttons on the back would not stay closed for anything. The second I moved my shoulders, they popped open. So annoying when I was trying it on and didn't have anyone around to help me pin it. Thank god for safety pins and good friends to do the pinning. Quick fix! Anyways, the dress was gorgeous and perfect for NYE. Loved the way it showed off my curves and the open back was so sexy. I didn't wear a bra (just pasties... Again... It was freezing) and it was perfectly fine, if not way more comfortable that way. Would be a 5 star if not for the faulty buttons.

I don't think I've ever felt sexier than I did in this dress!!! I can't say enough good things about how flattering it was for my body, my waist, butt, everything! I wore this dress to a "black tie optional" wedding in Ohio in October. I wanted to be more formal than not, as my date was a groomsman and he wore a tux. I wish I had gotten the long, but it wasn't available so I took a risk with the regular. Wearing 3 inch heels you could see my toes which I didn't love but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means! Once I got dancing and took the heels off it hit the floor perfectly! I used fashion tape on the top because the top was a little loose. I wish I could wear this dress every day of my life!!

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner as the date of a groomsman. The dress code we were given was "casual" but I knew my boyfriend was wearing dress pants and a blazer so I needed to at least look put together. This dress was a gorgeous blue/purple color, words/photos can't do it justice!! It was an awesome length for me at 5'8 but I seemed to have a huge issue with the slip riding up under the lace overlay when I walked and it being annoying and very complicating to tug it back down because the lace is so much longer than the slip. I think this was only a problem for me because my hips are very wide, and it wasn't a deal breaker because I spent 90% of the night seated at a table. I wore it with a black pashmina shawl and black pumps and it was perfect for a fall evening in Ohio. Got a ton of components on of course... The color!

I wore this gorgeous dress to a "black tie optional" wedding on the 4th of July at 6pm. It was a perfect choice style-wise because every woman there wore a similar maxi style/colorful/flowy dress. I am 5'8 and my stylist at the RTR SoHo store suggested I get small long if I was planning to wear heels. With 4 inch heels the small long brushed the floor and was the perfect length. When I changed into flats I had to keep the dress hiked up while I danced, which was annoying, but as a tall girl I always prefer too long over too short, so it was fine. The wedding singer came up to me at the bar to tell me my dress was gorgeous, and explained that his band rates dresses at the events they play and my dress was second only to the bride. Felt pretty special :) I am only giving this dress 4/5 stars because the bandage top slipped down all night and I had to keep adjusting and tucking in the hanger straps, I'm barely a 34B so it may not be the case with larger chests. this was my first RTR purchase and I will absolutely be back!
