So many compliments! Lovely dress, both the 4 and 6 fit but the scalloped lace on the back laid better with the 6. And you definitely need to safety pin the back snaps! 

Fit perfect.  I was a little worried that the dress would be itchy because of the lace but it was super comfortable!!  Couldn't have been happier with it.

I rented a 4 and 6 but went with the 4. This dress was so comfy. I received TONS of compliments.

The dress was beautiful! I didn't have the problem with the clips at the back of the neck like others did. There was a small hole in the lace on the front of the dress though. I pinned it and no one could tell.

Loved the fit! The open back was an awesome feature to an already gorgeous dress. Depending on your bust size/how comfortable you are you could definitely get away with not even wearing a bra. I wore a backless bra just to give me some shape. =) received many compliments! 

This dress runs true to size. I got a 4 and 6 just in case the 4 didn't fit, but it fit like a glove! The arms weren't tight at all, I had plenty of room to move around.  I got compliments all night! The dress was absolutely gorgeous! 

The buttons in the back of the dress do pop very easily! Nothing a safety pin couldn't fix :)

Fit was amazing, I thought it may be loose or boxy looking, but it had a spandex feel to it that really shows off your shape. I was absolutely in love with the back. With the fitted underslip, no bra needed. It was a little short, but I also have long legs and my hubby loved it. The conservative top gave it a nice balance of classy and sexy!

Fits a little on the small side.  I typically wear an 8, but the 10 fit perfectly.  Has a slight stretch to it.  Kind of short, but not too bad for a place like Vegas!  

I was hesitant to choose this dress because I was afraid it would be too "simplistic" - as I've worn black lace before. However, make no mistake -- this dress is anything but simplistic. It's fun and comfortable and sexy all at the same time. I got multiple compliments on it and was told by a girl I've never met that she thought I was "best dressed" at the wedding. I wish I got a photo of the back of this dress because it is by far the best part. I normally wear a 6 so the fit is pretty spot on. Keep in mind that you may want to figure out your strapless bra options ahead of time (I chose to wear one, although a bra isn't 100% necessary with this dress).

I rented the 4 and 6.  I ended up wearing the 4.  I loved this dress but I have to it was a bit short for me at 5'8".  The 6 didn't afford much more length and looked too big and boxy at the waist.  I wore this dress for a birthday dinner so it worked.  But if it had been too and event where I was dancing and lifting my arms up a lot, it may not have worked as well!  I added a pop of color with the Kate Spade Pink Hot Chip Necklace.  

She loved the fit! It wasn't skin tight so she couldn't breath, but it fit her body like a glove. She said the arms are very tight, but it wasn't bothering her the whole night. My only complaint was that the buttons in the back tended to pop open, we had to safety pin it closed. Other than that, it was a perfect dress and very comfortable!

Great material, beautiful back, perfect length and fit.

I wore this dress for the Tartan Ball :) I got the necklace to match and it was a total hit. The sleeves were a little on the tight side due to the lace but I could dance in comfort and not worry about anything. I had to safety pin the one button because it kept coming loose but that was no big deal :) I received so many compliments and everybody was asking where I got my gorgeous dress from! I told them Rent The Runway :) Wish I didn't have to send it back :)

This dress was amazing!  It fit great and I got a ton of compliments.  It fit pretty true to size but was a little short.  I am usually a 4 but wore the 6 to give myself the little bit of extra length.  Also, one of the neck snaps on the 4 wouldn't stay snapped so the 6 was just the better choice for me.

I wore this dress to a fancy, southern wedding and I felt sexy, yet elegant. I got so many compliments on the dress. The back and sleeves are gorgeous. It's also a very comfortable dress so it was easy to dance in. If you have long legs, this dress will show them off beautifully!

This dress was amazing! I wore the 2 but probably could have worn the 0 (I got a 4 as my backup, oops!). The material is thick and stretchy. I didn't get a picture of the back but it was really beautiful and open. The dress was a little shorter than I thought it would be but not scandalously so. My boyfriend said this was his favorite dress so far (this is the third one I've rented). I have nothing but good things to say about this dress and RTR!

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner for an October wedding and it was perfect!  Just enough coverage to be good for the weather and the back was just sexy enough to work for the event!  Loved the ooos and ahhhs i got from both guys & girls on the open back!!

I attended the Spotify Christmas party on a date... this dress was perfect. I was slightly overdressed for the event, but I felt beautiful in the dress. The back is super sexy, but the whole silhouette is completely classy. I would absolutely rent this dress again. It was very comfortable :)

I could not have been happier with this dress for my engagement photos. It fit great and was very flattering. It is very form fitting and it did ride up a little when walking so I had to keep puling it down, but it didn't bother me too much. This dress fit perfectly for the look we were going for. 

This dress was perfect! I received a lot of compliments. It was comfortable and sexy at the same time! It is extremely low and the Victoria's Secret bra was not good even though it was low it was not enough. You need a backless bra and that's kind of tough for the busty girls like me!

I wore this dress for a friends rehearsal dinner.  It fit perfectly! So comfortable and the open back makes it unique.  The sleeves on the arms were a little tight but overall it was very comfortable and flattering.  Definitely recommend this dress for a fancy occasion.  It has been my favorite one so far.

This dress is a winner! I had to pick a new dress at the last minute after my original had rips in it...and I'm so glad I did! I felt amazing in this. It fit true to size and garnered sooo many compliments. This was my first time going out since I had my baby four months ago so I wanted to look hot...mission accomplished. Keep in mind it is backless; not a problem for someone with a small chest like myself but fair warning.

I wore this to a benefit dinner and it was stunning! Although there were a lot of lace dresses there, the back of this one really made it stand out. The lining is soft but heavy enough that I felt comfortable going without a bra and knowing nothing was going to showthrough. Because I wasn't wearing a bra (although a backless bra would have worked), I went for the 4 over the 6 because it was just slighty tighter at the top and if fit better in the arms. Not much difference in length between the 4 & 6 - both hit upper thigh, which I felt was still appropriate becasue of the high neckline. he dress was form fitting, but not skin tight, so I felt sexy but still very comfortable. The dress itself was great quality - the lace was free of any loose threads/tears. My second RTR rental and it was another amazing experience! LOVED IT!

I wore this to a pary at a snazzy downtown hotel.  The dress was unique enough that I didn't look like anyone else, but still on trend, stylish, and not outrageous.  The fit was perfect, I am a pretty true size 8, and I ordered an 8 and a 10, but the 8 fit perfect!  I would totally purchase this if I could afford it.

Fit my body really well, has some give, but not too much.  I actually didn't wear a bra, as the dress lining is pretty thick and the dress was tight enough where it wasn't noticeable.  Received a lot of compliments, highly recommend. 

The open back is sexy! Other reviews said the back top bottoms don't stay snapped, so I brought safety pins along. Need them! Both sizes fit but went with the 10 for a little extra length. The dress is hot and fun! Just bring safety pins and if you are a tall girl wear tights!

I was hosting an engagement party and this dress worked perfectly!!  The dress ran true to size.  I ended up wearing a nubra although I could of gone without and would of been fine.  Like others have stated the snaps at the top would not stay closed but a safety pin took care of that problem!  I wore stockings because it was freezing out but the dress was short so the black tights helped with that issue as well! Overall I felt beautiful and got a lot of compliments and everyone was asking where I got the dress! Of course I said RTR! 

I wore this dress for a wedding. I usually wear a 6 or a 4. The 4 was very tight and a little short but I was able to go bra less with some spanx which I never ever do. The 6 was a little more loose. I could have worn either size. I had no trouble with the buttons fastening in the back. I probably should have used the double sided tape for the back but did not want to be constricted while dancing.

This dress is beautiful but runs a tad small. The open back makes the dress. It's just sexy enough to be appropriate for most occasions. The top comes together with two snaps which come apart with any movement, so I had to use a safety pin to hold it in place. Overall, I liked the dress and would rent it again. 

Beautiful dress, but VERY TIGHT and SHORT.  Maybe size up to be more comfortable.  I was constantly preoccupied with pulling it down and had to wear shapewear.  Love the sleeves and love the back.  Back is daring and and sexy, but cannot wear a bra.  I wore pasties, which still made me a little self conscious.  I also had to pin the snap on the back to stay fastened.  Overall good dress, but I could have used a bigger size.

This was my first rental with RTR. The dress I originally wanted to order was sold out so I rented this dress instead. I was impressed by the way the dress was packaged. It came on a hanger, in a garment bag and return label was easy to locate. I wore this to a coworkers wedding on the beach in April, so I wanted something with sleeves. I usually wear a size 2 but wore the size 4 instead because the sleeves were tight. The rest of the dress fit comparably in both sizes, only difference being the sleeves. As anticipated from reading previous reviews, the top snap on the back of the dress didn't stay, so I used a large safety pin. I used fashion tape on the bottom of the open back to keep the dress close to my body. I love the open back, it's the right amount of fun and classy. It was perfect for the occasion. 

I loved this dress.  Couldn't wear a bra, so I got those sticky cups, and wore the smaller size.  It was comfortable and beautiful.  Received  compliments all night long. 

This dress fits like a glove and was probably my favorite RTR yet. Wore it to a wedding and got so many compliments on it. Loved the open back and it actually felt comfortable unlike many open back dresses. Wish I owned this one forever! Love love love!

This dress is gorgeous and sexy. I wore it for my Theatre Company's Vegas Fundraiser. I was very pleased with the quality of the dress, and was complimented all night long! The reviews are all correct: the snaps in the back are worthless, but nothing a couple of safety pins can't fix. The only real con for me was the lace arms. I am pretty athletic, but by no means have very large arms. While the size 4 fit best overall, because the arms were so tight, the back would pop open very easily. I decided to go with the 6 since I was doing a lot of moving around at the event. Because the 6 wasn't the best fit, it wasn't quite tight enough in the chest and waist and so it bunched a little. But this dress is totally beautiful and made the night memorable! I can't wait to rent again. 

I wore the 4 and it was a tad loose around the stomach and chest. The length was better than the 2, which kept riding up making it awkward when I had to pull it down every five seconds (which is why I didn't wear it). The 2 fit a lot better but with the 4 I didn't have to pull the dress down. Still a bit awkward getting out of cars and up out of seats because it was kind of short but other than that great dress. I saw that others had problems with the button at the top of the back coming undone but I didn't have that issue which is surprising because my shoulder blades stick out a lot so I wouldn't worry too much about that part, you can always use a safety pin. :) 

This dress is more business in the front party in the back… Was super comfortable but the only complaint that I have is the fact that as indicated by the other reviews, the back snap was very easy to come unlatched. My friends and I got around that by safety pinning it before we left the hotel room.

Usually wear size 2 but size 4 fit. Only part that was tight was in the shoulders. Super cute dress & flattering. 

I wore this dress to a cocktail party at a museum. It is form fitting and very sexy with the open back. I wore the size 2 and my roommate wore the 4. She went to a play the same night. There's no hook for the part across the back of your neck. Only buttons that don't stay together. Definitely safety pin it but don't let that stop you from trying it!

I wore this dress to a NYE party at a bar in the lower east side. It fit like a glove and was the perfect length (I wore black tights underneath but only because it was freezing, definitely didn't need them) YOU MUST HAVE SAFETY PINS!!! For whatever reason the buttons on the back would not stay closed for anything. The second I moved my shoulders, they popped open.  So annoying when I was trying it on and didn't have anyone around to help me pin it. Thank god for safety pins and good friends to do the pinning. Quick fix! Anyways, the dress was gorgeous and perfect for NYE. Loved the way it showed off my curves and the open back was so sexy. I didn't wear a bra (just pasties... Again... It was freezing) and it was perfectly fine, if not way more comfortable that way. Would be a 5 star if not for the faulty buttons. 

Although my dress was late it cage Christmas morning and fit good enough for the family Christmas party ? Not my favorite but worked 

Ran just a touch small, it was very timeless and sexy at the same time. Perfect for New Year's Eve. 

I rented this dress to celebrate my 30th birthday! Such an amazing dress! I am usually a 4, but I wore the 6 bc it was a tad longer. and I did not wear a bra. The only down side is the buttons that attach at you neck don't stay buttoned if you move so I had to pin them. Other than that great dress and great condition!

Was a great dress felt beautiful and had lots of compliments. This was my first time renting a dress, I will definitely recommend doing it. Had an awesome experience. Dress runs pretty short would recommend wearing tights if you are tall or have butt ;) lol. All in all I would say id probably order this dress again.

The only complaint I have is what everyone else said too. The snaps on the back didn't stay so I had to pin it.  Other than that the dress was perfect. 

The sleeves were pretty tight and the back would need to be held together with a safety pin because the back doesn't stay snapped together very well. Was a nice dress but for the function I was going to was a little too much! 

I wore this dress to a fundraiser gala, and loved it! It fit well and I really could've gotten away with the 8 or the 10. I agree with all of the previous reviews - you definitely have to safety pin the top buttons or else they come unsnapped. The fabric also bunched kind of weird in the front but I'm pretty sure I was the only one that noticed that! I wore it with a Nubra but probably could've gotten away with no bra because the fabric was so thick. I would rent this dress again! 

Fit was amazing. I didn't wear or need a bra (could have used a pushup). Very sexy dress. I wore it to a work Christmas Party and blew everyone's minds (I never wear a dress unless it's a party, wedding, or very special occasion). Loved it!

I loved the back of the dress. I didn't have any problems with the snaps popping open (like I saw some people describe) but I was also not dancing/moving around a lot. Got lots of compliments on it.

Cons: I found that the liner would occasionally bunch up underneath the lace (like around my chest especially). It wasn't especially obvious unless I was under a direct light.

I really liked this dress. It was really sexy and, being 5'1", I was surprised at how short it was. If I had the time, I probably would have worn tights but it was fine. Like everyone else has said, a safety pin is essential for the nonfunctional clasps in the back. I'd wear this again! 

I had both the 4 and 6 sent. They both fit, but I chose the 6 because the back flared a little less and it provided more room in my tummy area so I didn't feel so chunky after eating and drinking so much at a wedding. It was also a little longer, which was great so I didn't have to worry about anything falling out on the dance floor! It was a little big in the lower back, and after a night of dancing-- it did stretch out a little bit. I would recommend wearing the 4 around the house for an hour or so to see how it fits you after moving around in it. Overall, it was an amazingly well made dress and I received so many amazing compliments on it! I will definitely be trying another dress for another occasion!! 

I did love the overall look of this dress. Like every single review I was prepared with a safety pin for the top buttons that didn't stay clasped. I did go with the larger size, 1 for extra length (yes it's short!) and 2 it was just generally a tighter dress. The back was amazing and open, but I just felt I had to keep pulling it down all night even with tights on. 

Loved the lace - Got a lot of compliments on it. I had to wear the size up because of the length. This dress is pretty short. Since i had to go up a size the bust was unfortunately very loose. I didn't have a problem with the snaps as others have reviewed. 

Dress was beautiful.  Both the 2 and 4 fit, I ended up wearing the 4 though.  The back snaps on the 2 kept unsnapping and it was more tight fitted around the hips for me.   The back snaps on the 4 didn't snap but I secured them either way with a pin.  Also the 4 just for more comfortably through the hips and the length was more wedding appropriate.    The only disadvantage to wearing the 4 was that the top was slightly loose, but no one noticed that except for me.   I loved the dress and would definitely rent it again.     

If you do rent the dress definitely go up for the backup size depending on your hip and cup size, a bigger size may fit more comfortably.

I absolutely loved this dress. The quality was great and the lace was thick. The open back was perfect and the buttons at the neck didn't pop open at all for me. The dress was very short. Being 5' 7" with long legs I definitely went for the size 6 over the size 4. 

I got a 4 and a 6. I am a 4 in most items but this dress was a little too tight in the 4 so I went with the 6. I'm not used to wearing such tight fitting clothing, so I wasn't sure I liked it, but then received a lot of compliments so I knew it looked good! :) 

This dress was great, wish I ordered a size 2 because the chest area was a bit larger than I would of liked. The buttons do come undone very easy so if you're a dancer you might need to safety pin it just to be safe. Other wise perfect dress as a wedding date.

This dress was classy and simple, but I wasn't blown away as I have been with other RTR dresses. It fit true to size except the upper arms were very tight because the lace doesn't have much stretch. The buttons in the back were very flimsy as well so I had to safety pin it to keep it closed. For reference, I am 5'3", 130lbs, and 34C. 

Perfect for my cousins bachelorette party. So pretty and fit great. Felt amazing all night.

the following happened....
Recent weight gain has my dress size all over the place. I sized up and the 10 Rode up WAY too much when I walked.... Hot muggy day made the dress uncomfortable & not very breathable despite the open back. My v-back bra did NOT work at all... As other reviews stated, the buttons on the back NEED to be pinned otherwise you will be exposing yourself to the other guests at your event.

I wish this dress could have worked. Definitely needed more material for length. Thankfully I had my go-to LBD with me and changed into that after the ceremony so I could enjoy the reception.

This dress was great. Like everything I've gotten from RTR, it was a tad big, despite reviews that it runs small. However it did fit better than any other dress I've gotten.
