rented this for a birthday dinner. i wanted to feel dressed up but not glamorous. this dress was the perfect fit. the inner layer is snug, but the outer layer is nice and flowy. i ordered a size down for my back up, but the 8 fit great. like other reviews said, it's on the short side. i wore sheer black tights and felt just fine. the biggest issue was sitting down, so if you're standing all night you'll be fine (or sitting in a booth like me lol!) super cute dress!

There was an issue getting me the dress size I requested. I'm 5'6'' and needed the regular length, but only the long was available when my dress was about to ship to me. The RTR crew was awesome in helping me pick a different dress, and I was surprised that this dress in the long showed up as well. I tried it on and it was absolutely gorgeous. the cinch sits perfectly, and the back is so flattering for those of us with rolls. It was so comfortable as well. The only issue for me was the neckline would need fashion tape for sure, because the cut went way too low for me, and the dress they sent was a long, so it was about 1.5' too long, which, with about 3in heels, was actually fine. wish I had had two events that weekend to wear both my dresses!

These earrings were heavy but not as heavy as you would think from looking at them. I ultimately didn't wear them only because of an issue with the dress they were picked to go with, and I wore a different dress, and these were a tad too edgy for that dress. they would have looked awesome with the dress i choose though (the chain detail maxi dress by badgley miska)

there were a lot of people dressed up at my event, and my dress was the most unique by far. you have to play with the sashes to get the right draping, but once you do it's so flowy and romantic. the back didn't come down nearly as far on me as it does on the model, i wore a regular strapless bra. it's low cut, but the sashes give you some modesty, and you can adjust them for more or less coverage. the front of the dress came right down to the tops of my shoes (i wore flats), but the back was a bit longer, so i would suggest a slight heel if you're 5'6'' and wearing the 10R, or you could just be aware like I was. besides the beautiful dress, it was so much fun telling people i was wearing Vera Wang. can't get much better than that!

The length was perfect, the sleeves were great, the waist line was fantastic for coving up anything you aren't too confident in. My only hitch was the neckline. When it stayed in place, it was wonderful, but wouldn't stay without fashion tape. So don't make my mistake and scrimp on that. I have to use a safety pin, but after that it was great! I dressed it down by wearing leopard print flats and a black cardigan (which I promptly removed for the reception. Very comfortable dress!

I loved these earrings. I don't wear jewelry very often, so they were quite heavy for me, but not so much they hurt my ears. I wore them from the processional to the cake cutting, and they were great!

Ok, so i was a little nervous about ordering this dress, but one i got it i couldn't wait to put it on. i'm not a small girl. i wear about a 13-14 in jeans, large shirts and usually need a size 14 dress. but the large fit me! with a little room left over, lol. i ordered the medium for free, just because it was free, not because i actually thought i could wear it, but that one fit too, it was just a shorter than the large, and came up a little too high on the thigh for my taste, but i could have rocked it as well. all to say, if you think you are too big (like i did) to wear this gorgeous dress, fret not. the fabric is thick and drapes beautifully, the shoulder pieces will stay on your shoulder or fall off, where ever you put them. RENT THIS DRESS!!!

i wore this to a friend's wedding. the fit was wonderful. the fabric doesn't stretch, so it's a close fit, but the lace overlay covers any body quirks. i have love handles and a tummy, and this was really flattering. the cinch in the waist is very flattering. it is short, so be prepared for that (i could barely cross my legs without giving a show!) my only reasoning for not giving 5 stars is the one i wore had a 2-3" rip in the lace. it wasn't too noticeable while i was wearing it, though so it worked out. i contacted rtr immediately and sent them pictures of the rip and they said they would refund me, so all in all, everything worked out perfectly. love rtr and LOVE this dress!
