My Something borrowed and blue
Wore these for my wedding. Was a nice touch of color. Looks great on those with blue eyes.

Wore this to a reception for law school a law school graduation and to a friend's wedding.
This dress was lovely but is a thick, heavy fabric, which doesnt necessarily seem to match the light springy colors. I tried it on in store and loved this dress for it's drop waist flared skirt. It's great for someone short waisted like myself. Unfortunately with a 3 lb gain and/or the spanx I was wearing, I had trouble keeping the dress in place on my hips and it kept riding up. Felt more comfortable in it after the second wear. Works with regular bra, but it is a dramatic V in front.

Wore this to my fiancee's law school graduation. It was a perfect dress on a spring day.
This dress fit comfortably and was very forgiving in the hip area. I had to size up for my boobs. It was above the knee , snug yet comfortable in the waist. Thick enough straps for a regular bra. Skirt was flouncy and I received many compliments.

A perfect look for the Barristers ball. Sexy, yet covered, and comfy
LOVE LOVE LOVE This dress. My midsection is a problem area, but I felt comfortable with the clingy nature of this dress because of the well placed draping. The slit was dramatic but tasteful. I felt curvy and glamorous and received compliments all night. Wore a regular bra and spanx.

Was a backup for barristers ball. NOT WORN
So I thought the panels would be slimming, but I didn't realize this was bias cut. SOOOOOoooOOO not ok on my hip/tummy area. It pulled and looked very awkward. It's a gorgeous dress but not recommended if you can't pull off a bias.

I liked this dress but decided that my skin tone wasn't deep enough to really pull off the gold. Also, I've been working out hard and this didn't show off what I'd accomplished. Still, I'd recommend this. It was comfy, allowed for regular bra, forgiving in the belly. Plus hello, GOLD SEQUINS :)

Strangers kept coming up to me to tell me how beautiful this dress was!
This dress was true to size, and despite what RTR says, I was able to wear a regular bra. It was the perfect above the knee length and caught the light at every angle. It was such a forgiving silhouette, exactly what I needed 3 days after my Christmas cookie binge. I was sad to return this.

A lovely dress for a more formal affair
I wore this dress for a wedding. The wedding was a bit more casual than I'd anticipated and I felt a little overdressed, but I felt lovely in the ML dress. There is some slight itching around the armpit of the gown. I'd recommend putting some makeup primer on your arm to reduce the rubbing (really!). You can wear a regular bra, but stick some fashion tape on the straps to keep it in place. The hi-lo hem is not that dramatic, but is noticeable. The dress really nipped in at my waist (my trouble spot). the pleating made my rather small bum look pretty big. Overall, I recommend this.

Wore this to a cousin's wedding. It was the perfect blend of summery and fancy.
Fit was true to size. I opted to go for the 14 rather than the 12 because it was a tad longer and looser and I wanted to be able to sit and move. It had little snaps to hold a bra strap in place but the straps were thick enough that they didnt show anyway. I'm a little thicker in the middle and this dress hid everything I wanted it to. My only complaint was that when i sat, it really rode up and the lining came down past the lace. Overall, it was beautiful and I wish I could keep it!

This was a beautiful, yet understated dress for the Barrister's Ball.
This dress fits beautifully. The cumberbund-like waist really nips you in. The dress made me feel really long and lean (and I'm quite curvy). The slit hit just above my knee, on the side. I opted to go braless at the last minute when my strapless bra wasn't cooperating and I was in a rush. You're going to want fashion tape to hold the keyhole down. The mesh at the top is starting to wear a bit. There were one or two small holes that came when it arrived. Still, you don't really notice it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
